The Weapon Masters Transmigration - Chapter 103 Info Source No. 2
“Um, Cole?”
“Yes, Felicia?”
“Do we really have to transport them while sleeping?”
Night. Maybe 12 pm or something but all you needed to know that it was quite late. Felicia had opened a portal into the〈Fantasia Zone〉. Cole was carrying the entire hero party in his arms. They were going to drop them off wherever they felt like it.
“Yes. If they see your abilities, I can already feel the hassle that’ll come later.”

Cole would have preferred to nip the problem in the bud. Unfortunately, however, there were several reasons why he couldn’t and why he wasn’t allowed to do so.
Meanwhile. Felicia was confused.
“But aren’t Item Boxes and Magic Transporation Circles a staple in fantasy settings?”
“If you read a few books in the library about the〈Fantasia Zone〉, you’ll see otherwise.”
“Ah, so “It’s super valuable!” is the troupe they’re going with!”
“So, where are we going to dispose of the bodies?”
“We can’t kill them.”
“Eh? Why not?”
“First of all, we’re not allowed to interfere with major people of a Zone. Whether it be a king, president, or a Hero. We’re only allowed to do ”
“But you’re not working at〈S.T.E.L.L.A〉anymore!”
“Black Hollow is sort of an associate of〈S.T.E.L.L.A〉. It’s also written in the Law Book of the〈Neutral Zone〉”
“Eh? We have something like that?”
“Explore the library more.”
“Hmmm… Okay…”
“Good girl.”
Cole patted Felicia on the head with a satisfied expression. You couldn’t actually see it on his face but you could tell from his atmosphere.
“Fuwa~”
‘Ah, that was pretty cute.’
Cole had thought so but there were other things they had to do tonight. He retracted his hand despite Felicia’s protests and carefully put down the pile of bodies on the ground so they wouldn’t wake up.
He then muttered out in a soft voice.
“〔Hollow: Message〕”
His mana manifested as a small bird in the usual black colour. Cole thought of using a paper aeroplane as a model but went with a bird since Val was more likely to notice it. He let the bird fly into the cave and call Val out.
〔You don’t think he’s asleep already?〕
‘He’s not, trust me.’
〔What makes you so sure?〕
‘Try using your motherboard.’
〔…〕
While waiting, Felicia brought out a foldable table and a pair of foldable chairs and started to brew some coffee. It seemed having a drink during late nights had become somewhat of a tradition for the two of them.
When Val came out, he was wearing a fancy purple silk robe with golden embroidery. It was opened showcasing his bare chest and he seemed to have come in a bit of a rush. Nevertheless, he had his bright smile on like always.
“Ah! Cole! It’s been a long time!”
“It’s been a day, Val. A day.”
Cole didn’t respond warmly to Val’s enthusiastic greeting. But that didn’t bother Val in the slightest, Cole was just stating facts after all.
“Yeah but it’s still nice to see you.”
Val then directed his sight to the pile right by their feet. He sent a glance towards Cole. Cole gave him a thumbs up and a pair of eyes that told him ‘I leave it to you!’ Val let out a sigh, but it was a happy one. He liked being relied on and thought that it was a nice feeling.
“So, you need me to take care of these people?”
“Yeah, just send him back to the kingdom this stupid hero came from.”
Val put his hand to his chin and tried recalling any important or recent news he had heard. He often went to nearby villages and listened to the stories or rumours they had heard. He also heard a lot from creatures who would come visit so he was an excellent source of information.
‘Madam Marcy’s daughter got pregnant again… No…’
‘Sir Tristan went to travel to the Rowena Empire… No, that’s not it either…’
‘Ah, Kilia said something about Bakalandia!’
Fireflies had formed into an exclamation mark and had lit up above Vals’ head. It seems that he had recalled something useful.
“Let’s see… I did hear that Bakalandia’s Hero had departed on a journey to brave the dangers beyond the ‘Wall’.”
Cole and Felicia’s attention wasn’t caught by the sudden mention of a ‘Wall’. Which would probably be some kind of important plot point in another story but moving on! They got stuck on the sound of a very stupid name for a kingdom.
“”Bakalandia?””
“Whoever must have decided the name of that kingdom must have been on something at least.”
They ended up saying the name in unison. Felicia just had to ask about what kind of crack the person was on to actually allow their kingdom to be named such.
‘It must be some crazy stuff.’
Seeing their obvious confusion, Val started to explain.
“It was a name decreed by the Gods. They said that they would be stuck with the name until the day the leaders game some smarts and some morals.”
“…”
“…”
They both stayed silent. It looked like that the Gods of the〈Fantasia Zone〉were quite earnest and hard-working in their duties. This is also made their existence in the people’s minds firmer. Cole started to wonder what would happen if the Gods in the〈Avant Zone〉were to act that way as well.
The religions in the〈Avant Zone〉 weren’t as deeply rooted in people as others. If they were asked if they believe in God, they would say that they believe in his possible existence. They still couldn’t confirm how exactly the universe formed so there was always room for the possibility. It could have been because of this mentality that they had progressed so quickly.
“By the way, Val.”
“Ah? What is it Col?”
“First of all, what’s the difference between calling me Col and Cole?”
“Well, Col sounds like ‘cull’ so it’s different?”
“If you want to call me by a nickname so much then you can call me ‘Hallow’ or Eve. ”
The two of them didn’t even spew out a single word of questioning. They both used their shining gazes to plead for Cole to spill the story behind it.
“Because my second name is Khellouin and it means Halloween. That’s the day I was born on after all. My grandma usually called me ‘Kero’ however.”
Cole couldn’t blame her. His grandmother had learned English but her Russian wasn’t that good and she would usually pronounce names from foreign countries with a Japanese accent. His grandfather loved that little bit of hers though.
“Ah! Cute~! I can imagine her going ‘Kero-kun!”
“Khello? That is indeed cute!”
“Right?”
They chatted like a close brother and sister. The longer Cole looked at them the stronger the feeling grew. The fact that they both had black hair further reinforced that fact. They both had jolly personalities and were chatty people.
‘Wait, don’t tell me that there’s ancestry bullshit here too! Val isn’t even a Chinese dragon! They don’t even look alike except for the hair!!’
〔 They’d only look like actual siblings if the art style was that simple!〕
Cole realized that his thoughts were getting sidetracked and moved on to the second thing he wanted to ask Val.
“And second of all, Val.”
“?”
“Are you sure it’s okay to work Lala like that? She’s pregnant right?”
Val flinched. Felicia burst out in laughter at Cole’s words and started to roll down on the ground. Val was shocked to his very core and was rooted to the spot.
“H-How did you know?”
“How I did matters not. But I’m not condemning you.”
“I should have stopped when she told me to stop. If so then this would not have happened…”
Val crouched down on the ground and covered his face in embarrassment. Unfortunately for him, the redness of his face had spread all the way to his ears. But then Cole realized something.
“Now that I think about…Val, how long does it take for Vampires to give birth anyway?”
“Ha? It can be as short as a human’s pregnancy period or take as long as 9 years.”
Cole’s brain started to do some calculations and a few simulations. His eyes started to show a glint of an ardent researcher’s passion for knowledge.
“Val, may I take a blood sample of you and your wife?”
Cole pulled out a syringe and several vials from the insides of his suit pockets. Felicia tried to smack him since he was being the discourteous one this time but he effortlessly evaded it. She expected such so she just shrugged it off.
Val sent a weird look at Cole. It’s not like Cole was an adventurer who aimed to drink his blood to become immortal or try that with Lala’s but he didn’t know what to exactly feel. What’s more, Lala would gladly give her blood.
As long as she received something in return.
“But it’s not like I get anything in–”
“I’ll bring you cakes and delicious sweets from the〈Times Zone〉.”
“Deal.”
They shook their hands on it. He thought that Lala drank blood all the time and could easily drink some more if she needed so. What’s more, Val remembered that Lala loved sweet things. It was why she drank his blood so often.
‘But if I give her cake and have her drink my blood as a drink, she might have too much sugar… I’ll guess I’ll just cook something up to make up for it!’
He felt very giddy at the thought. Just as he was about to bid the pair goodbye and return inside his cave, Cole stopped him and asked a simple question.
“By the way, Val, do you want to enter a deal with me?”
Cole was smiling. He was asking in a way too casual to be an actual proposition yet too serious to just be a little joke. Val’s eyes turned serious and a devilish smile bloomed on his face.
“…Let’s go inside, shall we?”
