The Weapon Masters Transmigration - Chapter 119 Before Shopping
“Ha, what for?”
Although it was something that appealed to a woman’s basic instinct, Felicia didn’t seem that enthusiastic. It didn’t have to be clothes, bags, it could be other stuff in general. It’s either she already had her fill with shopping or she just wasn’t in the mood for it.
“Was one of your dreams as a kid to be like those women in spy movies?”
“I’ve had many dreams as a child and yes, that was one of them.”
“Great, you can fulfil that dream now.”
Cole could swear that he saw three dots appear above Felicia’s head before they turned into an exclamation mark. Realizing this, she quickly became excited.
“Is it the〈Times Zone〉?! Time to reenact all those Mission: Improbable Movies!”
“Yes it is, but before we go we I need a quick chat with Libra and Zhujiao.”
“Eh? Why?”
Felicia had only seen them as freeloaders with potential she couldn’t see because she could barely care. She was the one who was preparing food and cleaning, and washing. But then she realized that every single recent memory she had had Cole helping her.
‘Wait a second, if Cole helps out with everything… How does he get all the time to do that?!’
“They’re going to have their own solo arc.”
“Wait! That’s unfair! Isn’t it in order of appearance?”
“…I’m joking.”

Cole made his way to the library while Felicia brought Eva to her room. When he saw Zhujiao and Libra, they seemed to have a peaceful atmosphere going on.
But there was something strange that Cole noticed.
For some reason, Libra looked more feminine today. Most of the time, their speech and mannerisms leaned more to the boyish side while their appearance, when rounded in general, made them look androgynous.
Except for the eyelashes. Slap them on any person and they instantly look more girlish.

「Wow! You immediately got it right!」
“Ehe~ Well, I was originally a genius.”
Zhujiao said with a prideful look. This time, he actually looked like a normal teen instead of some manhua protagonist. Well, if you cut his long hair then maybe it would reinforce the image even further.
‘…I’ll have to cut his hair.’
Cole decided to watch the two of them a bit longer. There might have been something else in Libra’s teachings.
And a second later, lo and behold! There was indeed something else.
Libra’s eyebrow twitched as they saw something on Zhujiao’s worksheet. Their expression grew darker by the second while Zhujiao remained blissfully unaware.
‘Oh, that’s one terrifying expression.’
Libra seemed to be undergoing some serious inner struggle within themselves right now.
“Zhujiao.”
“What–”
Libra grabbed Zhujiao’s neck with a fierce glare in their eye. They looked very piss and ver much appeared to want to snap Zhujiao’s back. As for Cole, he couldn’t feel the intensity.
「ARE YOU SUCH A FAILURE THAT YOU CAN’T EVEN GRASP THIS–」
“Shut up.”
“Master!”
Without hesitation, Cole appeared and loosened Libra’s hand away from Zhujiao’s neck. He gave him a bump on the head while he was at it. Why? He hated the look Libra had on their face. It was super irritating for him.
‘It was just like…’
Since he didn’t like the images that flashed by his eyes, Cole stomped on Libra a few times. They coughed up blood a few times but they seemed to be well in general, nothing to be worried about.
This point was proved even further when they sprang back to their feet and shot a pitiful look towards Cole with tears in their eyes.
「How’d you get here so fast! You were by that bookshelf!」
“I know that you know that through some kind of ‘link’ that I could care less about but let’s just say…”
“Ways.”

As Zhujiao was watching this, he could only think of one thing.
‘Master is so cool!’
He thought that the way Cole easily dismissed him was amazing. Zhujiao was also amazed by how he wasn’t even able to detect his master nor was he able to see him moving. He would love to start getting lessons about how to do that but he must learn this strange language known as ‘English’ first.
Zhujiao wasn’t completely sure why except that communication between the youngest one in the house was probably important!
All he knew was that she seemed to be related to his master so he should be kind to her and forge a good relationship. Another reason was probably that his master said that it would be very important in future lessons.
Cole could feel Zhujiao’s intense stare drilling through his back. Now that he thought about it, another black-haired person had also done so. Would Val be next?
He left the aggrieved Libra by themselves and faced Zhujiao.
“Zhujiao.”
“Ah! Yes!”
Zhujiao hurriedly stood up and straightened his back. He brought his stomach in and puffed his chest out. Cole hadn’t said anything about that so he assumed that he had either picked up from looking at the soldiers in the〈Huaxia Zone〉or… from him.
He looked so hopeful in Cole’s eyes. But his expression looked a bit stiff, it reminded Cole of some fresh recruit or trainee.
“Pft…”
“Eh?”
「Master?」
Cole couldn’t help but let out a chuckle as he thought of that. Zhujiao and Libra became visibly confused, Libra especially so. Whether they liked it or not, they were the ones who had contracted themselves to not a horrible but not that nice either Master.
They could tell what Cole was really feeling because of said contract. So, Libra sort of knew from the start what Cole’s true character was.
Because of that, Libra truly felt surprised when Cole had let out a such a sincere and honest laugh. Even when it was only a small chuckle. Libra had no idea what made Cole laugh like that. They only knew that it was something Zhujiao did but Libra barely cared about that fact.
‘So you CAN laugh like that, huh?’
That was the thing that struck him the most. To Libra, it meant that his master wasn’t a full-on ice block yet. Unknown to Libra, they had the exact same feelings as another person who was watching from afar.
“Aha… Fix your face. You look like a fish out of water.”
“Eh? U-Um…Okay…”
Cole wiped the smirk off his face and Zhujiao eased his tensed up face.
“I’m going to make this quick. I have a mission for you and Libra. I need you guys to go to the〈Huaxia Zone〉for a little… check-up and message. All you have to do, Zhujiao, is give this to your father.”
Zhujiao tilted his head with a question in mind. He had seen Felicia’s powers and wondered why Cole couldn’t just go himself with the use of the portal. He didn’t even need to voice out his actual question when Cole answered him.
“Let’s say it’s a task for you. You’ll depart in the next three days but before that, I’ll teach and give you a little something.”
With this, Zhujiao’s immediately lit up. He saw the task as a sign that Cole had some form of trust, faith, and hope in him. He swore that he would do everything in his power to complete his quest (it somehow got upgraded to that in his head) successfully.
Unfortunately, it seems that Libra wasn’t as happy with this arrangement as much as his new partner was.
「Wait, why do I have to–」
“Shut up. Deal with it. Or else I will cast you away to the Xenon.”
「…」
This shut up Libra who now begrudgingly accepted their new errand. Seeing that everything seemed to have settled, Cole turned to the library’s stairs.
“Okay, can we go shopping now.”
