The Weapon Masters Transmigration - Chapter 80 Instigator Pt.3
“Haa… Xiao Yang! Xiao Yin! Please come out already! This poor servant is about to collapse!”
Cole was walking through a hallway when he spotted the servant who had called him earlier. He was breathing heavily and his clothes were soaked with sweat. His voice had also turned hoarse from the repeated shouting. He looked like that if he were to take one more step, he would turn into a corpse right then and there.
Cole looked at the spot in the rafters where the twins were hiding. Instead of being filled with mischievous delight, the twins’ faces seemed to be filled with guilt at the poor servant.
‘…’
Cole took one more look at the servant.
‘Let’s cause a bit of repelling force.’
In an instant, the twins shot down like a cannonball into the floor of the house and crashed right before the feet of the servant.
Cole gave a pat on the shoulder to the shocked servant as he walked past him and started to drag the twins away.
The servant stood there for a little while before he returned to his quarters to rest.
Meanwhile, as COle was dragging the twins. The twins were busy shouting complaints to Cole. Since there was no one nearby, it doesn’t matter if they spoke or not.
“Child abuse!”
“Injustice!”
However, Cole instantly shot their insults down just like how they shot down to the ground earlier.
“This is punishment from a superior officer.”
“…”
“…”
With that, the twins had nothing else to say and do. So for the entire duration of being dragged to Cole’s room, they only had the sky and house to look at to pass the time.
“I’m starting to feel like it was useless to bring you guys along.”
Mini couldn’t help but retort at Cole’s comment.
“Hey, we have been useful.”
“Okay then. If you are so useful, come back to the room with Felicia and Val in 5 to 10 minutes.
The twins looked at each other for a bit before agreeing reluctantly. In no less than 7 minutes, the twins could already be seen hurrying back with Felicia and Val in tow.
Felicia seemed to have just finished taking a nice long bath while Val…
He had some blood on his mouth and the smell of a roasted… Tiger? Could be sniffed out from his mouth. His belly also seemed to be recently fed.

“…So, what is it this time?”
Felicia appeared to be quite irritated at the fact that she was immediately pulled away from her recently finished back. She was in the middle of meticulously combing her hair before she was pulled away by Gemi.
“We just need to scout the Stadium and I have one last task for you, Felicia.”
As Cole said sich, he pulled out a piece of parchment which was tied with a red ribbon that had fine gold linings on it.
“Send this message to the name on the letter.”
“Hm? Why me?”
Hearing that it was such an insignificant mission, Felicia didn’t see why he could’ve just made a servant do it instead.
“Lady Feng Huan.”
Hearing her alias, Felicia took the letter and then skimmed through it. When she reached the end of it, she let out a sly grin. She then left to carry out the task bestowed to her.
“Now, the twins. return the drug dealer to whatever hole he came from. Or just leave him in a random alleyway, it’s your choice.”
Gemi and Mini sighed in reluctance again but went out to do their task as well. Now all that was remaining was Val.
“Val, do me a favour and gather a lot of beasts and have them surround the stadium in 2 days at 3 p.m.”
「Okay」
Val didn’t have any problems probably because he was too engrossed in the wonderful taste of the tiger he ate recently.
After everyone left, Cole massaged his forehead. His brain had a lot to process at the moment and there was also the stress that came with the mission.
He normally wouldn’t be nervous since he had to undergo tasks that were far more difficult and complex than the one he was doing right now. But it would be the first mission he would have to accomplish as one of the Department Heads of〈S.T.E.L.L.A〉
If he were to somehow fail, it would become a dark spot in his reputation and would cause distrust to breed among the employees and other Department Heads.
Rumours would probably start over the fact that the only reason he had such a high position was through connections. It would cause the employees to lose faith in their once equality-loving leader and although small, a crack would start to form.
“Haa…”
Cole let out a deep sigh and leaned his back on his chair. He was planning to go fall asleep before a sudden voice popped out in his head.
〔Cole.〕
‘Ah, my extremely helpful sentient A.I has come to talk and help me! He was totally always there when I needed him.’
Cole’s tone was extremely sarcastic and irritation was oozing out his words. He had tried to ask Steward to try and pinpoint the place Val had seen the Azure Dragon based on his descriptions but he couldn’t contact him at all.
No matter what kind of name or tone he used to try and call him, he didn’t respond.
If Steward had been active at the time, he wouldn’t have had to go do the trouble and time of making a complete mini-world to simulate the environment.
Heck, if he had been active before that, he wouldn’t have needed for Val go look for the Azure Dragon in the first place. He could have just used Steward to calculate the most likely place for him.
In the end, Cole had limitations, he didn’t have enough energy to analyze possible environments and monsters and other stuff from the geographical situation of the surrounding landmasses and livelihood of the surrounding civilizations.
‘So, where were you?’
Although initially dissatisfied, Cole decided to let it be and he now just wanted to get some shuteye. But Steward’s answer caught him off guard.
〔Recovering the original body’s memories.〕
‘?!’
Cole sprang up from his chair and started to talk to Steward seriously.
‘Can you do it?’
That was the first question he shot Steward. He didn’t care what means he used, what he cared about was the results. He didn’t talk about it much but Cole was especially interested in his extreme look-alike’s personal history.
‘And maybe I’ll be able to confirm who Eva’s mother is…’
Although Cole had a strong hunch as to who it was, he wanted to make sure and what were the circumstances behind Eva’s birth. After all, the current Cole was a bit young to have a kid Eva’s age.
And that usually meant…
〔Hmm… It’s going to take a long while. While the technology used is similar to what we were using while you were still ‘living’, this one is a lot more advanced. It’s going to take me some time to finish analyzing the technology before I can start working on it.〕
〔I’ll try and split my processing power between analyzing it and interacting with you.〕
Seeing that it was indeed possible and only needed some time, Cole felt that one of his worries was lifted off his shoulders and ended up dozing off right there on the spot.

The next day.
Everyone was gathered in front of the mansion’s gate for one last quick briefing. The streets were devoid of people and the sun had only started to rise. The cold mist could still be seen and there was an eerie silence in the city.
“They’ll probably make their move during the Clan Tournament. It would also explain why the mission said to stop it at all costs.”
Considering the fact that the country would be too busy holding the tournament, it wasn’t a bad choice.
And since the Clan Tournament was a world-wide event, the instigator could be framed onto any person from any other country.
“I mean, they said nothing about having to stop it before it happens, right?”
When Cole put it that way, the twins couldn’t help but nod along.
Felicia thought that they were going to stop the tournament midway anyway and didn’t care and Val just wanted to meet the other Dragon soon.
“Let’s go catch ourselves an instigator.”
