- Chapter 92 A Protagonist, A Spirit, And A Demon
During the time was sorting out his affairs, his newfound group of… followers? test subjects? Followers sound nicer, let’s roll with that, were having a sort of makeshift Q and A segment.
“So, uh… Is your body…?”

“Dead? Covered in demonic scales? Absolutely majeSTIC?!”
The person to start the entire thing was Zhujiao. He was sitting across Rigor and couldn’t help but stare at his strange body. He had heard of Demons from his father and that they were complete fiends.
But the one in front of him didn’t seem all that hostile. In fact, it was more like he had a hole in his brain.
“My Lord, control yourself.”
“And you, are you sure you’re a goblin?”
Sekuren had tried to calm down his lord but was met with Zhujiao’s curious stare. It was a similar case with Rigor. Zhujiao had chanced upon a den of goblins when he was a lot younger. The images he saw that day ingrained themselves deeply in his mind.
Wrinkly skin with a complexion that was a yellow-green Beady and evil-looking eyes that made you automatically think the bearer had bad intentions. A big, ugly nose and a face riddled with warts.
They were at most, the height of a child. They covered their lower regions with scraps of cloth or dirtied loincloths.
A unique feature of them was that they had simplistic tattoos that could be found on either their shoulders or across their entire arms. It could be a bright red, a faded brown, or pure black.
It was only later that Zhujiao had found out that the tattoos came from the blood of the ones they had killed. Red meant they had only recently killed, brown meant that it had been a while and pure black meant that blood had totally died and there was so much of it concentrated.
Zhujiao had seen them feasting on the meat of a woman. Her top half was ripped apart from her lower. Two were happily indulging in the woman’s soft meat while another was pounding the pair of lifeless legs.
Red had covered the cave’s rugged floor and the only sound that could be heard would be either the sound of teeth tearing through meat, the groans of a goblin, or the occasional flickers of flame.
Zhujiao shook his head to keep him from remembering anymore. It was unpleasant but he from that he learned that life was really like that at a young age.
So faced with a goblin that actually looked ‘cute’, he wanted to know if he was unique from his kind or if the goblins from the〈Fantasia Zone〉were really like that.
“Born and bred.”
“You don’t look like the one I’m familiar with at all.”
“I’ve been told I’m exceptionally ‘cuter’ than the rest. However, most of my race looks similar to me.”
That confirmed Zhujiao’s suspicions. He did not have a good impression of goblins. The things they did could’ve been a product of their own ‘culture’ if you could call it that and how they adapted to their environment but that didn’t change the fact that he was disgusted at their practices.
But Sekuren seemed and looked different. Zhujiao knew how to differentiate between things, it’s just that sometimes anger clouded up his vision.
With two of the mysterious identities in front of him confirmed, Zhujiao moved on to the one that had been bothering him ever since he saw them.
“And finally… What are you?”
「Me? A spirit!」
Libra cheerfully answered as they jumped and twirled around.
“No, are you a girl or a boy?”
With Eva calling Libra ‘Big Bro’ it should have been obvious. But Zhujiao wouldn’t have it. Libra had a similar attribute to Cole that instantly made their faces more feminine.
And that was their eyelashes.
It instantly added a girlish charm to their faces. It didn’t matter how strong their nose or how rugged their face, add long eyelashes and they become a female! Or a drag queen.
Faced with Zhujiao’s curious expression, Libra couldn’t help but want to play and tease him a bit. Libra had wanted to do the same to the Steward’s but they barely cared. What mattered to them was that, there was a thing one could use, there was another mouth to feed, and there was someone a child could play with.
「What do you think I am?」
Libra gave Zhujiao a mysterious and mischievous smile and continued prancing around the lab. Zhujiao put a finger to his chin and pondered. He raised it but then quickly put it back.
“A– No, but…Hmm…”
‘I see! This is probably one of Master’s tests!’
Zhujiao had foolishly thought to himself. It seems the time with Val got deeply imprinted into his mind. As for whether that was a good thing… I guess it depends.
As the group was engaging in shenanigans, Igor had already woken up from his knocked out state and was observing the group.
‘Ah, I have no idea what a single one of them is saying.’
Igor thought to himself as he watched the group happily chat with each other. He was bound inside a transparent box made out of something that probably wasn’t just glass.
There was a bed to his right and a door that led to a bathroom. Although it was a lot smaller than what he was used to, it was better than being sent to the gulag or the Black Dolphin prison.
There weren’t any visible cracks that Igor could escape out of. But he looked to the group of strange individuals and his temporary comrades. And then, he started hatching up a plan.
“Okay, who wants cookies?”
But his thought process was then interrupted by the delicious smell of freshly-baked cookies.
“Oh, me!”
“I wonder if they’ll be as good as Matilda’s…”
“This Lord will have a taste of your cookies, Dear Lady.”
“Ah, thank you, Felicia!”
“No, problem.”
“…”
For a second, Igor thought he could hear his stomach rumbling.
