“Come with me” Mike literally dragged Anna with him. He was feeling frustrated and isecure at the same time but didn’t know what’s happening. It was weird for him to lose his temper because he saw her with someone. He knows it has nothing to do with him but he can’t resist going there.

“Let go of me.” Anna struggled to break apart from his grip, she was still muddled why he was behaving like that. Why was he trying to interfere with her life, when they got so close that he started to interfere in her life.

She already promised Sara that she will not do anything with him, she will cut every tie if she has but suddenly he appeared again in front of her. She was confused why?

Before she could ask or reach to conclusions, she pinned to the pillar, while caged her between his hands leaning a bit, leaving no way for her to leave.

Anna’s heart skipped a beat seeing him so close to her, his ash-grey eyes were still the same as they were when they met.

She gulped her saliva in fear, “W-what do you want?” She stumbled on her words talking to him.

Was he going to do something to her? What if he was going to take advantage of the stillness?

“No,” she shook her head incessantly, blurting out her thoughts. Mike was taken back by her sudden behavior.

He chuckled, his dark cold ash gray eyes turned warm and cozy. The cold and threatening aura around him was gone. He turned warm like a completely different person.

He flicked on her forehead, not being able to control his laughter. “What are you thinking in that pigeon brain of your?” He rubbed the tears of happiness from the corner of his eyes.

Anno pouted her lips, showing she didn’t care inside she was going crazy, she wanted to hide somewhere but still can’t.

She looked to another side, avoiding eye contact with him. She cleared her throat and being indifferent she interrogated,”Why did you bought me here? I don’t think we are that cl…” she couldn’t even complete her sentence when he suddenly pulled her into his arms, and hug tightly.

Anna was dazzed by what he did, that she completely forget what she was going to say. She felt butterflies in her stomach, she gluped a bit, biting her lower lips.

She wanted to break apart but also not, her heart was beating crazily like never before, she wanted the time to stop just then and there, and it says for eternal, this feeling of heart fluttering like a butterfly, the warmth and coziness in his arm she wanted it to stay like that.

His sweet scent linger on her nose and mind, she can’t forget this scent. But her promise to her sister hit her. She remembered their conversation.

For someone like him, she could only be toy not someone he will crush on. Feelings grew for the special person, but Anna know she was not that special person nor she was not ready. She was scared that maybe he was same like him. He will only take advantage of her and leave her when he gets bored.

“Don’t cross the line, I don’t care who you are but this the last time we meeting, after this even if we meet accidentally we are just stranger, nothing else.” She ran away completing her sentence.

Mike wanted to hold on to her, but he can’t. He was really not in his mind, he hugged her and he didn’t know why. He himself didn’t have any explanation how can he explain her.

Maybe what she said and did was right, that slap bought him back to reality. Maybe it was karma of using her for his revenge. Maybe it’s time to let go, he should really stop. Stop his way to take revenge but it didn’t mean he will stop himself from taking revenge, he will take his revenge but not using her. But he knows who will be helping him.

Anna ran back to her apartment, and closed the door with a loud sound. She leaned on the door and slid down on to the floor remembering the past. Past that changed her. Why did she that again, she promised herself to repeat the same mistake again but she did it again.

Her past, that guy. Her one and only crush who she loved but he just tore it apart, and leave her. She knows men are just bastard who will use you, take advantage of you, treat you as lowly animal and when he had all the fun he will leave you. He will dump you like nothing happened, he will just find another one and use her and again same process.

She knew it, and which why she changed herself, she promised herself that she will never fall again in this things, but she was back again where she started. She thought after playing around with those cheap men she thought she would be over. For her man was plaything and it always was that, nothing else. She will never let anyone hurt her not in this life nor any lives.

She took out her phone from her pocket and dialed a number and after a few seconds it was finally picked up.

“Mom, I am ready to take over the company.” Her words were straight and saying what she wanted she cut the call. She knows it’s the only way she will be distracted from all these things. She will be someone who helps her family instead of getting into all these again and again. She was tired, she wanted to rest.

Her mother was curious about her sudden decision, the girl who said she wanted to be free until she could suddenly change her choice. Her mother was curious on what’s happening. She knew something was wrong with her. Something was off about her, and her mother didn’t know what’s wrong with her.
