The Witchs Rebirth - Chapter 133 Genevian come into my office?
Out walking pass me, were the two of the people I never wish to see Dawson and Cat. There at the other end was my grandmother and Diana. Even if I was expecting it but I could not help signed tiredly, they look pleased until they caught sight of me. It would seem that my own relatives like me no more than a nail in their shoe. Thanks to the stones I felt the power emanating and I couldn’t breathe. This was not what I wanted but I had no choice but to go through with it.
“Genevian come into my office?” Grandmother said flatly as the other three made leave. “There is much to talk about.”
“Okay? Bye everyone!” I shouted as I watch them go.
Cat could get out of the room fast enough. Dawson was hesitance to leave. Diana was the last she gave me a curious glance, she also made a hand gesture for me to call her. There was a question over our head and from the looks of her she was not ready for what I had to say, she love grandmother, while I don’t and it was hard for me, for her it would break her heart.
Finally, I could no longer prolong the inevitable and stepped into grandmother office. She had it redone and redesigned. The spacious room with high vaulted ceiling with a wooden chandelier in the center over a golden desk with lion claws.
“Genevian,” she greeted me. “This is an unexpected pleasure. I rather thought you’d never set foot on any of my property again.”
“My thoughts are the same.” I said tiredly as I sat down on leather highchair.
I sat on the seat in front of her desk waiting for her to be seated. Pushing a little I didn’t want her to have all the power in this encounter. She may have won the battle but I will win the war.
“First before everything, I must say that it was never my intention to insult your mother. It’s a common known fact that I was just stated the facts.”
“Grandmother, let’s not talk about it” I replied, nodding to her. “I have council business. Do you know who design the crystal display at MN club? Who was there on the day Jamey and Sonia went missing.”
She laughed, lips curling into almost a snarl I could feel that she knew something. There was no question that something bad had happen. Worry gnawed at me. There was such satisfaction in her eyes that I could not dismiss as nothing. Quickly I twist my ring. It was given me by my aunts and has saved my life more than once. I need to play it out until help arrived. Something that I’m not sure if it could happen once the doors slammed shut it was like we were sealed inside. I bit my lip controlling myself not to panic. Grandmother could really be dangerous once I sent her off.
