The Witchs Rebirth - Chapter 135 What are you talking about?
There was a great silence in the room. The bad type. I blinked for just a moment. Not believing she would give me all the details so easily. Then I knew something was wrong.
“I don’t have anything involved with that detail. Ceyx made us a deal. We make the room for free if we get to harvest half the magic. Then she helps us sell it over the black market. We have been bathing in gold Mendelian for the last few weeks. ” She said smiling surgery sweet. “I’d be free in a couple more weeks.”
The word gold Mendelian and free were a bad combination. Those that deal with items like that were the devils.
I felt pity.
“Why? What? How?”
“You are stupid.” She said smiling surgery sweet at me.
“Listen to me. You are breaking hundreds of council laws and regulations.” I said knowing that she was in too deep. ” When you get caught you will ruin our family good name.”
“Nonsense, no one will know.”
I look at the madness in her eyes.
The saddest part was that she believed what she was spouting, her smirk sent a chill down my spine. This was not good. Slowly, she took out a long jeweled dagger from her desk with intent to kill me.
It was flashy and sparkly but more importantly was the spell. The harsh truth was my grandmother had found a way around my protection and had prepared to use it on me as she wanted me dead. It must have been very expensive.
“Why?”
“Did you know that she was betroth to an elder. I had to pay everything back. The Yoit family was never the same again.”scream grandma as the dagger pushed forward,
I would have love to move but she use blood to bind me. It was kin blood so it took time to undo. The faint smell of wolfsbane was in the air and her aura was completely wrong the colors weren’t mixing and there was the really wrong with her. I raked my mind and remember a spell so old and so dangerous that since I learn it, I’ve never use it but it was the only spell I had enough power to use at the moment.
“Don’t do this, please.” I pleaded, “I’m your grandchild. I’m blood. I’m family. I’m line. I’m your grandchild. I’m blood. I’m family.”
“What are you talking about?” she said her fingers touch the blade tauntingly.
“Put the dagger down, pleased?” I pleaded again.
Grandmother’s eyes narrowed, then widened. It wasn’t a look that suited her. She extends the bland towards my throat slowly in a very lady like manner. Moving quickly, I toppled over backward in my chair trying to make a run to the door.
