The Witchs Rebirth - Chapter 143 Brooch of lady Jane
I place the brooch down as I look at Rusk walking away with a bottle of fountain of youth water. It was for his son. A new liver was nice and all but I rather not scam my client. Life years are just a form use to qualified magic that the humans have or at least a form of usable energy. There was no need to face the backlash of a bad deal.
There are enough pathetic people in the world. I like having happy customers.
“Was that wise?” Asked Hebe with a look,
I sign, and past the brooch to her. I had to maximize my productivity. Having more luck was always good when you make potions. So it was her’s.
Ding–!
The sound came from the bell on the door rang when someone came in, that was really fast for a second customer.
I turn to see old crazy walking trough my doors.
“Hello?”
“Did I get the wrong place?” asked Crazy,
“You wanted to see the new boss?” asked MEE,
“I made a deal.”I told him, “So what can I do for you old Crazy?”
It made him pause. In all the times I’ve known him in both my lives, the man never need a deal. He only brokered for others.
“My daughter is sixteen,” he said,
Ah, yes. The perfect time to mate. This was one of those rare circumstances that the mate was a no-show. It was rare but known to happen.
“I see,”
I rake my mind and remember a small incident. A girl age sixteen was eaten by her mate’s pack. It was head line news. I think Crazy was involved he killed the entire pack after that earning him a position on the council. Not that he was know for anything but making Mula.
Now it sort of makes sense. He must have wanted to resurrect her but bringing back the dead that has blood comes at a very high price.
Poor crazy, I rack my brains to find a loophole for him. Mates in such a pack would be toxic. This was going to take centuries but the poor girl couldn’t survive without a mate either.
“Put her on ice.” I suggested,
Crazy looked at me as if I was mad.
