The Witchs Rebirth - Chapter 180 One more auction ?
I jump to my next location. A small town called spoon. It wasn’t an area I wanted to linger and work around. The place had a vampire coven and werewolves.
Danger of a weakling like me. I really didn’t have enough power to go against a coven. One hundred vampires were fine but tens of thosands was out of my power. If it was Knight he’d be fine.
So my plan was a hit grab the things I needed and get out of the town as fast as I could. This was one stop I couldn’t miss. It would have been better if remember and knew what happen. In all honesty, I didn’t pay much attention to how the Henna pen was found when Diana told her tale. I rather eat dung than listen to her sob soapy stories.
If I had I wouldn’t be here; going to multiple auction until I found the piece.
I look at unit number 542. Scanning looking for the right color. Powerful antiques or collectibles with long histories usually turn into magik tools or tailsmain especially if the last owner was blood.
There was a small spark from an oak cabinet, there were two drawers that were locked but there was something there. It could be the pen I am trying to located. So this was worth the bid.
The auctioneer call us up: “Everyone please be quiet; if you don’t want to attend the auction, please leave, okay? Please focus on the fact that we are here for the auction, not to watch some quarreling, alright?”
Someone shouted, “Don’t worry, boss—of course we’re ear for the auction—but the show is good.”
Looking around I really didn’t want to be involved with this crowd. There was plenty of blood around. The weakling thathad to blend with the population of humansand normals.
For a moment I felt envy for their mundane life. Working, going home and raising a family. Things I didn’t have and couldn’t dream of having.
The auction continued, I didn’t attempt to bid for the other two units; there was no spark.
After all units were successfully auctioned off.
Just then, the auctioneer’s phone rang. Seconds after he picked up the phone, he quickly shouted, “Hey you lucky fellows, don’t leave yet! There are two extra units available for auction!”
The people who were still around started to gather again. This was a wind fall for them. Less competition.
The two extra units were units 29 and 31.
When the entrance of unit 29 was opened, everyone saw a large number of cardboard boxes. Most people could not see a thing but I am not your average bidder. There was plenty to see.
