“Healing Potion!!” Two voices exclaimed at the same time upon seeing the pink-red liquid appearing in Ivan’s hand. They became sure of their guess when Ivan opened the stopper on top of the bottle. The scent like a sweet cheery wafted to their noses.

Ivan told Sarah to lift her daughter’s head so that drink the potion easily.

Sarah did as she was told, her belief in Ivan had shot to the highest level when he brought her precious daughter back to life.

Ivan placed the opening of the bottle on Eva’s lower lip before tilting it slightly to pour a little bit of the potion in her mouth. Eva unconsciously swallowed the potion becuase tasted sweet to her. After emptying the bottle half just as the system as instructed, Ivan took back the healing potion and put the stopper back on it.

“What?” Ivan blurted out loud.

Everyone looked at him in confusion.

“Ah, sorry, I was thinking about something else. Don’t mind me… Oh, hey, you finally awake.” Ivan quickly gave an excuse before diverting everyone’s attention to the little girl Evan who just now opened her eyes.”

“Eva!” Sarah immediately hugged her precious daughter. Naina and Grant also turned their eyes towards the little girl.

‘System, do you mean I came to this world seventeen years ago? I didn’t take over someone else body, is it mine altogether?’

‘…How… is that possible?’

The system stayed tight-lipped on that matter no matter how many times he asked.

‘Then did I lost my memories of the past seventeen years that I spent in this world.’ Ivan asked in a bitter tone. If he had those memories than Ivan won’t have to act like someone who just came down from the mountain, not knowing anything about the world.

Ivan heaved a sigh of relief. He could afford to wait for another day.

When Ivan looked back at Eva, he found her to be sleeping. Naina was using her healing spell on her.

The little girl seemed fine when Ivan glanced at her basic information. Her health has returned back to being full.

“Thank you, Sir Ivan! You saved my daughter.” Sarah suddenly arrived at his front and repeatedly thanked him. As for knowing his name, Grant must have told her.

“I want to thank you too, Sir Ivan. If not for you being here, we may have lost her for good.” Grant spoke with heartfelt gratitude.

‘Yes,’ Ivan responded almost immediately. He was happy that his rating was perfect for saving Eva. The reward he got from achieving a Perfect Rating was a new ability Peak Human Jump. It looked quite useful, but he needed to check if he could control it else, the ability my turn out to be a limitation then anything useful.

Ivan checked the screen and immediately put the extra stat to Dexterity after his stats for Strength, Dexterity, Endurance, Intelligence, Vitality increased by one due to the level up.

Ivan was more in favor of increasing his dexterity than strength.

“Ivan?”

“Ah yes. I… I seldom go in a trance when I’m thinking about something important.” Ivan said immediately upon seeing Grant looking at him a little worried when he didn’t respond to his thank you.

‘Will they think I have some kind of a mental problem if I keep repeating this mistake again and again.’ Ivan thought.

“We should not disturb the little girl. She needs rest. Let’s go out.” Ivan said once again.

“Yeah, let’s go, it’s getting late, I will show you two to your place where you can rest for the night.”

“Um, Grant, they can stay in my house. There are two extra rooms.” Sarah suddenly said right after Grant finished.

“Here?… Alright! Eva may need help again. It’s better if Miss Naina and Sir Ivan stay here.” Grant said upon understanding why Sarah was ready to let two outsiders stay with her in her house when the village chief was absent. She was worried that her daughter’s health might become worse once again so having the women that can use healing magic and Ivan who seemed to be knowledgeable like a doctor in saving a human life.

“Thank you, Ms. Sarah. Also, please call me by my name, Ivan. No need to put Sir before it.

Naina also wanted them to call her by her name.

After Grant took his leave, Sarah showed Naina and Ivan their rooms. She asked if they wanted something to eat to which both of them said no.

Ivan was already full after eating the Bread and it was the same for Naina. Instead, Naina wanted to have a bath, Sarah happily took her to the backyard, where they had built a water well, and near its side was a bathroom.

Ivan also wanted to have a bath but he had to wait until Naina came back. Just as Ivan was going to sit on the wooden bed in his room upon which there was a layering of fur, a chime sounded in his ears.
