They stared at each other for awhile then she rushed to his side. “Are you in any pain? Do I need to call the doctor in?”

He grabbed her hand and place in on his lips and then his heart. He refused to let her hand go. She then placed her head on his chest and she could hear the panic in him subsiding as his heart beat and rate returned to normal. They stayed that way for some moment before he spoke.

“I was afraid, real afraid when I didn’t see you when I woke up, I.. I really thought you had left me. I didn’t know why I didn’t want you to see me like this, I didn’t want you to be upset but I forgot that by pushing you to one side would also hurt you. I was selfish and I am sorry. I tried my best to reply you when you were reciting our vows but you can’t hear me. So when you said you will walk away, I panicked.” Derek explained.

“I told you before you left, all I asked is for you to be alive, knowing you are alive is all that matters. If you were in my shoes and I was to do what you did, how would you have felt? Anyway, I am hoping this kind of thing won’t be happening in the near future. You should now know where my place is. My place will always be right beside you no matter what. I love you my silly man!” Jade ended her speech with a fierce and protective tone.

“I am sorry wifey, I wanted you to have an image of en everlasting able and strong man, I was ashamed to be hurt to this extent.” Derek said.

“Shhh..”

She kissed him to shut him up. She snuggled in closer to him. As she was kissing him, she suddenly remember that she wanted to ask him if his crown jewel was affected as well, as she pulled away, she saw a sight that never failed to make her excited and a little shy. His third leg was standing erect strong and proud. Derek groaned. Such little self control he has, just one kiss from her, he had already hardened. He missed her touches and her soft supple body against his. He was a sexually frustrated man and now being injured in such way, it is hard for him to get his release.

Adam and Chris came once weekend arrived. “I came to claim back my wife. I have never felt so lonely without her in my arms. Dude, seriously what were you thinking when you left your wife behind for so many weeks? Are so a masochist?” Adam was making fun of Derek and releasing some of his pent up frustration at Derek. Who asked him to get injured and get Jade all worked up, dragging his wife all the way to Russia.

“Take her back then. Don’t have to stay any longer than necessary.”Derek replied coldly. Despite the two men words, they actually have a good relationship, if not would one party dare to cross the other. Chris could only helplessly stare at this two childish behaving so called adults. Jade was at the side, smiling happily at the two bickering male. She is satisfied with this sort of life.

Her baby has been doing well, she never had anymore leaking since then, from the scans, the baby is growing well as well. In 2 weeks time, she’ll be at term and would be safe to deliver if anything were to happen, if not she can wait till she is at 40 weeks.

“By the way, how is your recovery process?” Adam asked, ignoring Derek’s cold tone. He is pretty much used to it now. Only when Derek speak to Jade, the tone is gentle, even Father Lee gets the cold tone. How could he complain then. He should be worried if Derek was to suddenly use a gentle tone on him. The thoughts of it made him shudder.
