“He is fine.” Yukiya sat next to Xia and softly patted his head. “Dont fret so much, he can handle it.”

“But you were so delicate with me. I remember you didn’t even let me swim away from my lotus leaf,” Xia said, tilting his head a little.

“Because you were a minute little thing, like you were barely visible to naked eyes. You don’t know Xia, I was so scared that some other fish might think of you as random food and eat you. But a little red on the other hand is very strong. Did you see his membrane? You can’t even penetrate it with steel.” she proudly lifted her second child up.

The egg happily rolled over to his brother and knocked against his bulging stomach. “Baby..”

“Yes, darling, it’s a baby inside. He is just like you waiting to come out and meet his parents.” Xia patted the little egg softly. He glanced at his mom and whispered, “I keep calling little red as a boy. Do you know his gender yet?”

“Nope.” Yukiya shook her head.

The little red egg heard this and softly screeched. “boy… boy….” it said whilst rolling around in the beach towel.

“Okay, okay, stop messing up the towel darling,” Yukiya picked him up and poured a generous amount of water on him. “My baby boy, mommy is anxious to meet you too. Then I will have two sons, oh this feels so good!!” she squealed and hugged Xia and the little egg tight.

Aotian came after him, “hey I did the most part, and you were just fumbling around.”

“No, I was not. It was the wind that hindered my progress.” Ki happily set up the umbrella over his wife and his children. “Now my sons and Wifey will not get sun burned. And my grandchild too~” he happily whispered.

Aotian, on the other hand, cringed. “Ew go away. He is my child, not your grandchild, and he is not your son. He is my mate,” he huffed, and hugged Xia closer. “Tell him Xia,”

Xia laughed it off. “Come on, don’t be so specific. Our child is his grandchild and your mate is his son. Just go with the flow,”

Aotian pouted and nodded.

Suddenly in hindsight he saw someone unexpected. “Isn’t that sheng sheng?” he pointed to a young lad in red shorts running around with a beach ball.

Xia sat up straight and peered over. “It is!! Sheng sheng! Sheng sheng!” he shouted aloud.

The young man paused and looked around, confusedly.

Sheng sheng finally looked over. As soon as he saw them, he smiled widely. “Brother Xia, dragon Long!!” he rushed over happily.

“oh sheng sheng, look at how much you have grown,” Xia hugged and kissed his cheeks. The little kid had already grown taller and was standing to his shoulders. His face has matured a lot to bringing out his foxy charms. “Where is your dad?”

“He is close by. Brother Xia I missed you. You took so long to come back.” he whined with a pout.

“We had some work we had to finish. As for now, I plan to stay here until my child is born.” Xia gently caressed his bulging tummy.

Sheng sheng’s eyes went wide. “C—child!! Brother you… you are pregnant?”

“Yes, see, you can feel him,” he invited him kindly, but a jealous dragon pushed his hands away. “Long don’t be so immature.”

Aotian pouted, “my child, my mate, only I have the right to touch,” he grumbled and nuzzled against him.

“You are still the same,” sheng sheng laughed and sat next to him. “Oh wait,” he shuffled though his beach pants and took out a lollipop. “Here brother you used to like this right?”

“yes!!” Xia happily took the rainbow lollipop and sucked on it.

All of a sudden a huge shadow stood right in front of the sunshine. “Master…..you came back…. as a fat man,” a mature voice whispered with a smile.

Xia glanced up in surprise. “Bao! Oh my god. It’s been long,” he jumped over to him and hugged him tight.

“Yes, it has been master. How have you been? Looks like the dragon has been feeding you a little too much,” he glanced at his bloated stomach that was protruding though his shirt.

Xia jokingly slapped his shoulders. “You jest too much. I am not fat, rather I’m pregnant,” he happily shared the news.

For a second the fox demon froze. “Master, I think there is a problem with my ears. I thought you said pregnant.”

“I did say that. I am pregnant, Bao,” Xia repeated himself with a happy smile.

The tricky fox demon suddenly broke down in tears. “Master….. Finally, finally your special cultivation has paid off. You always wanted a child with that Wei long. I never thought your lifelong wish would be fulfilled in your next life!” he started sobbing loudly.

“Baby!! Ki, look at him!!” Yukiya shouted holding little red carefully in her palm. There was a huge conch shell pierced in his membrane. “Is he hurt?” she started crying loudly.

“shh calm down dear,” Ki took his child and look at him carefully. “No, I think he is about to hatch.”
