This Crayfish Is Not Edible - Chapter 273
Aotian rushed out through the portal. The moment he realized that it was all a diversion he knew.. he knew the attack will be in the heavenly realm.
The blindingly glistening portal led him directly over to the opening near the beautiful palace, which was now fully aflame. From the distance, he could see a part of it was burning fast.
“Xia baby, you better be safe….” he hurried through the small garden over to the castle. The outer walls were breached, but the palace guards were able to take control of the Rakshasa.
“Prince!” a fleet captain ran to him as so as he spotted him from the distance. “The powerful Rakshasas are restrained, the rest have retreated. We won!” he Cheerfully whispered.
Aotian paused. “Where are the royals?”
“In the inner palace.” He respectfully bowed.
Aotian did not even care about it. He rushed past the many guards into the inner palace. Rakshasa corpses littered all over the shimmering glass floors.
The marbles and bejewelled walls were stained red.
“Aotian!” a soft voice whispered in relief.
“Mum, dad…” he ran to them. They were completely covered in blood but did not seem hurt. “Where are the others?”
“Don’t worry son, your mate is safe in the room.” She whispered, cupping his face.
“I’ll go check on him.” he kissed her Cheeks and rushed away into the inner quarters. The door was firmly locked. The two guards guarding this place were unconscious.
A weird fear hit his being.
“no no….” he threw open the door and bolted inside.
His uncle and his daughters were tied up to a pole with a heavenly restraining rope.
“Aotian, thank god. Please help us,” one of the twin girls pitifully shed tears.
“Where is Xia..” he glanced around. Xia’s mum was still unconscious on the bed, along with his brother’s baby. “Where is Xia…” he repeated anxiously.
“That demon you call your mate? You should be ashamed of yourself,” a gruff voice replied.
His uncle walked close with a heavy frown. “How dare a prince let a rakshasa slip into our castle don’t you know how many lives were spent because of your mistake! You have caused us to doom the movement you were born!”
Aotian blankly peered at his white hair. “Where is my Xia?…”
“That traitor is good as dead to us!”
“Shut up!” he punched him hard on the face and pounded until his nose bled red. “Where is my mate! What did you do to him! Where is he?”
“He left with them!” one of his daughters whispered. He did not glance back.
“Where?”
“to their world,” she mumbled fearfully.
Aotian blankly stared at the ground. There were a few drops of blood spilled there. He sniffed it out.
The familiar sweet smell blinded his senses with rage.
“If… if anything happened to him or my baby…. I-I will burn you all down and cut your souls into pieces. You fucker!” he kicked the old man who was still crawling on the ground and walked out.
“Baby, where are you going in a hurry.. ..” his mum stopped in his way.
“Xia has been kidnapped. Sound the alarm; no one is safe until my mate is near me!”

After that explosive rage, Xia Che sort of calmed down. It was for the better of his child and his life that he does not anger this new man.
Subtly, Xia tried to wiggle loose the chains around his neck. With the restrictive band in place, he had no way to use his spiritual energy.
“What is your name?” he glanced at the man as they were traveling down a huge black portal.
“Sun Wei, isn’t that a good name? It’s a name that you must remember because it is the name that you are going to hear all along your pitiful life.”
Xia lowered his face, letting his long hair drape down, hiding his contemptuous eyes. ‘Sun Wei my ass. Why do I need to remember his name… this bastard killed my dad? The moment I’m out of this restrain, I’m killing him..’
“What no reply for me?”
“I find the portal more interesting than you,” he mumbled with a small smile. “Where are you taking me?”
“To your home, of course. Aren’t you glad to finally see your hometown, wait you have seen it before, but that was before I killed you? So I guess it is new scenery in this life,”
Xia silently peered at the manic-looking man. He seemed completely crazy. From the act of casually killing anyone in the way with just a grip to the way he laughed, everything about him was villainous.
Sun Wei suddenly moved close, gripping his chin tightly.
Xi flanked back, but the man pulled him close with a strong grip.
“Your beady eyes… I really don’t like them. Should I just pluck it out….” his finger dangerously got close to his eyes.
He did not even flinch. He glanced into his crazed eyes without blinking. “You seem like a troubled person…..”
The man’s eyes slightly shifted. “What do you mean by that?”
Xia refused to look his way, instead, focused on the red light that was coming from the other end of the portal.
“Ah we are here! Warriors! We are back home!”
The light beamed blindingly and he was unceremoniously thrown out. He rolled over twice before coming to his knees. The sharp rocks tore through his pants and scraped his knees deeply.
Someone grabbed the back of his head and pulled him up. “Take a good look. This is going to be your home from now on…”
Xia Che also curiously looked around. This place was fully empty, with only red sandy deserts covering as far as his eyes could see.
Not a tree was in sight.
It seems to be devoid of any kind of life form.
“tsshhh do you smell that? I love it!” the man enthusiastically dragged him in a certain direction.
The excruciating walk began.
They walked and walked and walked until Xia could no longer keep himself up. Days without water and food also contributed to that.
Any cultivator can live without food for a very long time, but since his cultivation was sealed in… his body could not hold.
His body was giving in…..
