This Crayfish Is Not Edible - Chapter 91
Raijin’s skin went red as a lobster. ‘Please, this is not proper behaviour!’ he howled.
But the human still kissed his paws even more. It started getting ticklish. ‘It tickles, let go please,’ he barked.
Upside down, Raijin tried pulling his paws away. But the humans had a firm grip on his paw. He really didn’t want to kick her. It was considered disrespectable.
“I never got this close to a pup before.” She said and kissed the pup’s paws again.
Ever since she was young, she always wanted to touch a puppy’s little paw beads, but none of them let her approach them. So she had never been in close contact with a dog in all her life.
Felia picked him up and kissed his little snout. “I will get you out of here now,” she whispered and dashed to the little gap on the pod.
The moon light trickled in through the small gap. She surveyed the surroundings. All the other pods looked like they were being squeezed one by one.
“It’s eating from the pods one by one. I think it will get to me in ten minutes,” she whispered to herself. For her escape to work she needed at least five minutes. “I need to distract it,” she said.
Felia peered at the banyan and saw something interesting. It put one of its twines to her mouth and pulled out a little pink fruit. She saw the banyan giving this fruit to the little tree.
“It is eating other creatures to make that fruit. Hmm, interesting,” she mumbled and gazed down at the silent little pup.
Under the moonlight, Felia was able to clearly see the pup’s features. The pup looked almost a month old with its ears and eyes wide open. Its stunning blue eyes reflected and shimmered under moon’s rays.
“Wow, my puppy is so pretty,” she said with a smirk.
The pup barked softly and hid its face with its paws.
“Aww cutie.” she squealed in a high pitch and placed the pup on the ground. “Wait here for a second. I’ll distract that thing,” she whispered.
Felia summoned a small slingshot and small pebbles from her ring. “You know, I used to steal apples and mangoes from the farms. Hitting a small fruit from this distance is no big deal,” she whispered.
Raijin stood up and walked slowly next to the gap and peeped out. the gap was a vertical one but still it was little high for him. He leaned on his hind leg and gazed out.
‘What fruit are you planning to hit? Are you hungry?’ Raijin barked. Even at that height, he was not able to get a clear view of what’s happening outside.
Felia gazed down with a dazzling smile. “Do you want to watch? You little feet does not reach this height haa. Come here,” she picked the pup in her arms and placed him in her inner shirt.
“AWWooo, bark, Awoo,” Raijin barked but what he really meant to say was, ‘what…. what are you doing? This is not a pouch you can’t…. can’t shove me here,’
Raijin shouted and wiggled around more.
Felia cupped the pup’s face and plugged him further down. “Stay down ok. Its not safe to jump around,” she said.
‘It’s not proper to be shove me in your….. Your shirt,’ Raijin shouted.
His legs could feel her soft flesh rubbing against them. ‘Shit!’ he rolled up his limbs and hid his head in-between his legs. ‘Mommy, I have done a great sin. Please forgive me!’ he cried internally.
“Why are you howling so much, cutie? Don’t be anxious we won’t die here.” Felia said with a cheerful smile.
She placed the small pebble on the drawstring and slingshot it across the branches. It successfully hit the fruit in the little tree’s hands.
The fruit got shot out at least twenty meters.
The little tree cried and ran after it. And the banyan was busy reprimanding her child for not being careful.
“There is our opening,” she shouted. From her space ring, she summoned a huge table and shoved it down the gap. The pod creaked and groaned as its entrance was stretched.
The gap expanded to fit a human to pass through.
‘Why do you have a table in your space ring?!’ Raijin thought.
“Here we go, hang on tight little one. We are going to swing like a monkey~,” she said and jumped out the opening.
Raijin held onto her shirt with his eyes closed. ‘I didn’t see anything, I didn’t feel anything. I am a pure wolf,’ he internally said, consoling his aching consciousness.
The banyan then only noticed its prey running away from him.
“My breakfast!” It shouted.
Felia laughed aloud and swung across the aerial root of the banyan. “Catch me now, you stupid tree,” she goaded.
Its aerial roots swung around violently, trying to catch her, but she was already jumping down from the tree by then.
“Get back here,” the banyan slowly pulled itself out of the ground
“I am not stupid to go back and become your meal,” Felia said and dashed away into the dark forest.
