10 minutes before:

Sunlight streamed through the canopy and of trees and shone on their faces. A hand move across and covered the sunlight for him.

“I’ve got you covered,” long whispered in a raspy tone.

Xia chuckled and held his hands. “Yes, you got it all covered.” He then placed the little snake’s hands on his chest. “Hmm, so warm,” He mumbled.

Long propped himself up on his arm and loomed over him. “Why are you tempting me as soon as we woke up,” he moaned.

Xia lopped his hands over his shoulders. “Well, I’ve heard that I look so edible, so I wanted to test it out,” he said with a small smile.

Long buried his head in his beautiful neck. “Oh Love, you have grown up so much in just a span of months,” he softly kissed his already bruised neck. “it’s still here, all my marks,”

“Why are you always fond of biting me, ah?” Xia whispered in a soft tone.

Long kissed his nape, “it’s because I wanted to mark my claim.” He kissed his collarbone and gazed up.

Xia nodded his head, giving him non-verbal permission.

“Oh Baby,” he mumbled and ripped his lover’s shirt apart. He then proceeded to lick and bite him wherever he could.

He bit his erect n*pple.

“Mnnn,” Xia moaned.

“See I have proven you time and time, you are such a delicious meal,” Long groaned out loud.

He then bit another of his n*pple and sucked it hard.

“AHHH Aotian…. There,” Xia moaned out loud.

Long gazed up and bit him again. He slowly moved down and pulled his lover’s pant string. Just as he was getting in to it, a loud scream disturbed them.

Long scurried and pulled his coat on his lover and gazed down from the tree.

That stupid woman was screaming around.

“I knew it! She is a pervert, but why is she making so much noise,” he whispered.

Xia got curious and peaked too. But he reacted differently. He gasped and held the little snake’s hands.

“She is bit by something. Let’s go help,” he said.

Long understood the seriousness of the situation. He nodded his head and held his lover in his arms. With one swift jump, they both reached the human.

But she was already unconscious.

Xia ran over to her and checked her pulse. Her veins very blue and her skin had a blue sheen. He gazed around and saw a dead snake.

“Gasp’ it’s a rainbow head python, it’s extremely poisonous,” Xia said with a frown. He held Felia’s hands and transferred some of his spiritual energy.

Rainbow snakes were not an indigenous species of that area. They were very less in number and very dangerous. So seeing this rainbow python this shocked Xia a lot.

Long nodded his head. “Should we move them near the fire? And…..do you have a way to treat them?” he whispered.

“I’ll try. But I don’t have the cure yet. We need to do an emergency treatment to prolong her life,” He whispered.

Long nodded and held her in his arms. And Xia followed along, carrying the unconscious little puppy.

They both reached the camp and gently placed the poisoned Felia on the ground.

“What…. what happened? What is wrong with the princess?” The maid screamed and stood guard in front of Felia.

“She is poisoned. It’s not the time to talk. We have to treat her. Give way,” Long pushed the maid out of the way to let Xia closer.

Xia squatted next to her and rummaged through his space ring. It was a new , so he had not sorted anything in it. He cursed and threw some herbs out. “We need some thousand year old ginseng…. some…” he listed all the herbs. He had most of them, but he still did not have one of the main herbs.

Lusiha herb.

Xia paled. “I don’t have Lusiha herb,” he said.

Long shot up and said, “I will go to the nearby town and buy some.”

Xia shook his head. “No it’s useless, it’s a precious herb. There are only three know herb of that kind found in recent years,”

“We can try!” Long insisted.

“Yes, we can. Not in the town. I might know where to find it.” Xia whispered. “Long come here, help me transfer some more spiritual energy to Felia. And to that pup too,”

Long nodded and pushed his heavenly spiritual energy into her body. Then he went to the pup and inserted some energy. That’s when he knew things were weird. The pup had heavenly spiritual energy residue.

He sniffed the pup again and gasped. ‘Raijin! What! How is he here?’ he thought, gazing at the hairless pup in shock.

It was not a puppy at all. It was Raijin, his brother’s spiritual pet and friend.

‘If Raijin is here, then… my brother might be close by,’ he thought.

“Long stop spacing out.” Xia snapped at him.

Long nodded. “I have did put some spiritual energy in them,” he said,

“Good. You,” Xia pointed to the maid. “Take care of them; we will be back with the cure,”

The maid sobbed. “How long? How long will your spiritual powers last?” she whispered with a pale face.

Xia paused. “For three days. But trust me, I will bring back the cure by then,” he said.

The maid nodded and whispered, “I will always trust you lord Xia,”

Xia nodded and dragged the little snake away.

All along the way, the little snake had a dazed expression.

“Don’t worry. We can heal her. I trust your luck,” Xia whispered with a chuckle.

Long gazed at him and smirked. “So where is this mysterious herb?”

“It’s in that cave,”

Long narrowed his eyes at him. “That cave. That cave we did that and this,”

“Yes, that cave, stop asking to many questions,” Xia said and focused on his path.

When the little snake and him had rested in there, he had faintly caught the scent of the herb. Back then he was too busy, so they did not explore much other than the cave’s mouth.

But still… he was confident that he will find the herb there.

Xia dashed faster, but still he felt his speed was not fast. He could also notice the little snake slowing down to keep up with him.

“Long, lift me and run,” He shouted.

“Gladly,” long whispered and picked his lover up in his arms. In minutes’ time they reached the waterfall.

Now they had to contemplate whether to jump or to climb down thorough the walls.

“We’ll climb its safer…” Long said, but Xia shook his head.

“No, let’s jump,” Xia said with a nod. “Hold me closer,” he whispered.

He held his hand out to the air and summoned a huge ball of water.

“Long, kiss me,” he said.

Long complied and kissed his lover. Soon he felt his entire body enveloped in water. Opening his eyes, he watched them both covered in a water wall.

Still connecting his lips, Xia nodded towards the waterfall.

Long nodded his head and jumped.

This time the impact was less severe. The water ball around them took all the pressure of the water fall, letting them easily move underwater.

Being an underwater creature, Xia was much faster than Long, so he dragged the little snake towards the cave.

They both surface with a gasp.

Long gazed at the dark entrance and sighed. He couldn’t help but reminiscent. It was one of the places where he had the most pleasurable experiences in his life.

“Long carry me,” Xia said with his hands outstretched.

Long chuckled and lifted him up in his arms. His little lover wound his legs around his hips and neck.

“Go! Go! We can’t waste time,” Xia shouted.

“Yes sir,” Long shouted and dashed into the dark cave.

It was too dark, so Long slowed down his pace. “Xia, I need light,” he said.

Xia nodded and brought out a illuminating pearl from his ring.

The pair ran towards the general direction of the cave.

It was very wet and damp, but Xia could still smell that herb’s scent. “Long, go right,” he said.

Long dashed towards the right but they ended up running into problems. The direction his lover showed was a dead end.

He wanted to check the walls for some trap door, but his lover stopped him.

“Look down,” Xia said.

There was a swirling hole in the ground. The water was gushing into it in a swirl pattern, from their point of view the hole looked like it had no end.

“It’s coming from in there,” Xia whispered.

Long nodded and let his lover down. “I will go check it out. If it’s safe ill come pick you up,” he said and walked to the hole.

Xia gripped his hand and stopped him. “Where are you going without me? You can’t just leave me here.” He said.

“Xia, this is not the time. It’s not sure if it’s safe down there. I will not risk it,” he shouted.

Xia just gazed at him with a smirk. “Stupid Long! if you go, I go remember. You can’t get rid of me even if you want to.. I’ll stick to you like gum,” he said with a smirk.
