This Exciting Life - Chapter 6 God Is Generous
“Good.” God said and smiled. He conjured up a piece of paper and quill and dipped the quill in the inkpot.
“Now, before you reincarnate, we need to make out the details.”
“Details?” I asked quizzingly.
“Yes, details. Like, if I should recreate your original body or if you want a new one? If you want to continue being human or another race, say an elf? What skills you want to possess and so on.
But first, how do you want to look?”
“Ehhh” was the only thing I could respond to that question. Slow down, God.
Did I want my original body? I mean, I wasn’t dissatisfied with it, but beauty was a fickle thing and why say no to perfection?
I decided to keep my black hair. That was the one thing I was most proud of. It was long, healthy and glossy with soft curls that fell like a waterfall. I also wanted to keep my face. It was tiny with big black eyes, a tiny nose and kissable plump and soft lips.
Actually, I wanted to keep most of my original body. The only thing I asked for was a change of height, going from 5’2 to 5’5, but still be a size 4 in clothes.
I trained regularly and had a fit and healthy body with a perky butt, but the front part had always been a little lacking, so I asked for one size bigger, going from a B-cup to a full C-cup.
Last, but not least I asked to always have flawless ivory skin.
God gave me a side eye and snorted. Yes, that was definitely a snort aimed at my vanity.
How mean. He asked for details and I gave it to him. It wasn’t like I was under the knife or had any radical changes done, I think. I was after all being created from scratch, just like an infant developing in its mother’s womb.
This was just natural birth, only done the godly way. And I would be born as an 18 years old young woman. Natural birth, yep yep.
God was writing everything down.
I decided to try for one more push.
“Could you also I mean, could you do it so I would be forever 21 in looks? Like, when I hit the 21 and then stop aging in looks? Like an immortal.”
“” No answer. I guess that meant it was a no go. Aw, too bad.
God stopped writing, looked at me and said that I could ask for ten skills or items to support my new life. He gave me a book to browse through and perhaps get some inspiration.
There was a lot to pick from and some were a bit weird like ‘the skill to summon junk food’ or items like ‘a gourd that is always full of alcohol’.
I had a feeling that God later added whatever skill or item that was new to the book, when a person in the same situation as me, asked for something that wasn’t there to begin with. After a lot of thinking and browsing, I ended up with these ten choices.
1. World Language Comprehension
2. High Magic Comprehension
3. High Battle Comprehension
4. High Crafting Comprehension
5. Infinite Storage
6. Appraisal
7. Map Searching
8. Monster Taming
9. Great Luck
10. Portable Home
These were the ten choices I believed was necessary for me to survive in the new world.
