Through Hellfire - Chapter 0

Deep in the Green Beast Continent, there is a city of Immortals who’ve transcended unknown tribulations. Most regular cultivators are banned from approaching that city. Some cultivators try to infiltrate it, every few years. But none of them make it out.

The name of this city is Green Dragon City.

Currently, the city is ruled by a profound High-God realm expert with multiple God realm subordinates, but not even it’s denizens know about it.

On a winter’s night in this city, deep inside the mansion of the Su clan (Author: the clan that rules the city), people were running around in panic and restlessness. Lady Liu was about to give birth to a child, and she was in poor health. As the clan leader’s younger sister, she was the darling of the clan. But after she ascended, she hid away from the clan, to only return recently, injured and pregnant. The clan leader hid her away from all who chased her, but couldn’t to help restore her to perfect health.

As she winced in the pain of childbirth, she remembered her time with her beloved, and their adventures together. Soon her pain receded, and a new sound arrived in the ears of those in her surroundings. The cries of a baby, echoed through the chamber.

“Lady Liu, congratulations! You’ve given birth to a baby boy” the maidservant spoke, as she held the newborn. The baby’s cries soon stopped as it went to sleep. As the maidservant examined the baby, she sent her profound energy, to check the baby’s inner body.

Soon shock arose. “Lady Liu, the baby..the baby” the maidservant stuttered, unsure of how to break the news.

“Is something wrong?” The mother asked, anxious to know what was happening.

“The baby appears to be crippled!” , answered the maid servant.

Panic arose in the mother’s heart, as she sent the energy to check the baby by herself, to know if it was true, but soon, she stopped her movements.. “How..his profound veins… they’re all broken…” she said, completely shocked, tearing up.
