Through Hellfire - Chapter 2 Tribulation Approaches

Su Liu remained silent for a while and then spoke, “Elder sister wanted me to hand over Yan’er. She wants to hand him over to the Alliance in exchange for letting me go.”

Su Yunhai was shocked, and fell silent into thought. After a few moments, he lifted his head, “Wei’er…what is she thinking..”

He turned to Su Liu, “I’ll speak to Wei’er and try to convince her. Have you thought about anything, sister-in-law?”

“Due to my pregnancy, I didn’t allow it to happen, but now… I know that my Deity Tribulation is coming soon. I can’t delay it any longer” Su Liu replied. Originally the Tribulation was supposed to happen months back, but she used a special Immortal grade treasure to avoid it. In return, she was forced to sacrifice some of her life force.

Su Yunhai panicked. “The 7-in-9 tribulations…the heavens are merciless..

When is the tribulation, sister-in-law ?”

“Two months from now” Su Liu replied.

“Sister-in-law, I’ll talk to Wei’er and get a superior grade Immortal defence treasure for you.” Su Yunhai got up and rushed away.

Su Liu didn’t look at his departure. She turned her head and looked to the window. Out there, the night sky was illuminated by iridescent starlight. A light breeze blew in the air, and the smell of lilies wafted through the air. Her sight ventured beyond the skies into the everlasting void. Out of the hundreds of worlds out there, she didn’t know where Vincent was chased to. She didn’t even know whether he was alive. On her neck was a small black chain with a small Blue Lotus attached to it. She tugged it, and held it in her hand. It was a gift from Vincent when they got married. He got it made from the thick scales of a Blue Watermind Dragon.

Her body felt, weak from the delivery, even though she wasn’t very tired. The strain of holding back the Tribulation while being pregnant, bought enormous strain to her cultivation. She didn’t know if she had any hope of passing the tribulation safely.

“I must succeed no matter what. If I escape to the Dragons world, then maybe Yan’er and I can both be safe. This tribulation, I need to triumph over it! ” Su Liu spoke with determination.

Elsewhere, Su Yan was sleeping soundly in the arms of Su Li.

A couple of beasts in the surrounding sensed his presence and looked over. Soon some started moving in his direction.

Su Li soon noticed the movement of those beasts with here divine sense. Many of the mansion’s guards, Su Wei, Su Yunhai and others, noticed it too.

The guards started flying away, many of them in Saint or Sage level to block the incoming wave of beasts.

Among those beasts, one was the Blood-flame dragon. The Blood-flame dragon was infamous and rare in the Green Beast continent and even in the whole planet. It was said that, the Blood-flame dragon had pure fire instead of blood in it’s veins.

Most Blood-flame dragons never cultivate beyond Saint Realm, as their cultivation was very difficult. But their innate ability and talent enabled them to hold their own when battling even peak Sage level experts.

Su Wei disappeared from her position and appeared mid-air miles away, right before the charging Blood-flame dragon, stopping it in its tracks. The instant she arrived she unleashed her God-Realm and captured it, preventing it to move even its eyelids.

With the peak Saint level cultivation of the Blood-flame dragon, it possessed intelligence on par with an average human being. It sensed the High-God’s presence and trembled with fear. Even before Su Wei asked it anything, it began to speak.

“Senior High-God, please forgive this one’s insolance. I just sensed the presence of a superior bloodline.” The Blood-flame dragon begged to the High-God who captured it. It knew that the High-God needed only a thought to kill it when it was present in the God-Realm. If this High-God was benevolent and forgiving, then maybe it could escape with it’s life.

Su Wei, upon hearing the Blood-flame dragon’s words and seeing it’s fear of her, knew that it was speaking the truth. She expanded her divine sense and searched in a Ten thousand kilometer radius but couldn’t detect anything out of the ordinary. The only superior bloodline in the Beast Clan that she knew of, was the Golden dragon bloodline, the White Emperor Phoenix bloodline and the Red-thunder Qilin bloodline.

Members of these bloodlines were all of such importance to the beast clan, that if they ever travelled, they would be escorted by a large number of experts.

“Do you know how many superior bloodline presences you can detect?” Su Wei questioned the Blood-flame dragon, who was still trembling.

“Senior High-God, this humble one can only detect one such presence.” The Blood-flame Dragon replied fearfully. It couldn’t understand the High-God’s thought process, and feared very much for its life.

“You can leave now.” Su Wei pondered for a while before releasing it. The Blood-flame dragon turned around and escaped with all the speed it could muster.

“Chase away all the other beasts coming hear as well” Su Wei’s voice appeared in it’s mind.

Su Wei then turned around, and landed on the ground. She used her High-God cultivation power and spoke out, “Seniors of the Beast Clan, I am Su Wei, subordinate to the Wood Alpha Sovereign of the Alliance of Alpha Sovereigns. Please show yourselves so that I may extend my hospitality to you.” Her voiced sounded out to every being in the Ten thousand kilometer radius.

Everyone who heard it was shocked.

“Beast Clan seniors…..”

“What is happening…”

“Is the Beast Clan invading us… ”

People were in confusion and fear.

Su Wei waited for a while but, no one replied her nor no one appeared before her. She flew up in confusion.

“That can’t be, …was I mistaken?” Su Wei thought.

Unbeknownst to her and anyone who were in panic in the vicinity, baby Su Yan still slept soundly. The rays of Sunlight approached from the far horizon as dawn arrived.
