Through the Wings of Timeless Love - Chapter 17:Serious Vengeance
” Seb…thank…you. But how come…you made… us – a spider.” Nomin smilingly whispered to Seb.
“Don’t think about it, its my duty. And that spider thing, I had to tag you both along with me wherever I go, regardless of the situation. Shhh, keep quiet, it starts to heal now. Try to get rested while Karla’s asleep, I’ll stay around.” Seb smiled.
While Nomin and Karla were comfortably resting, Seb thought the damage he had caused to Demido and to the prying eyes of their vengeance.
The windows were moving, titillatingly shakened by the strands of wind, crashing and mounting on the roof while the cottony skies hoisted the lightnings to elicit some thunderstorms. The branches outside were dancing in glee, waiting for the rain to start pouring, then graciously whistles with the gemmy droplets that joyously lands on. There was a beautiful feeling while listening to the falling rains as a gesture of celebration to friends who survived from the pit of danger. On the other hand, Seb put some blankets on them and slowly seated beside Karla. He gently caressed Karla’s hair and ensure that Nomin’s pillow was a little higher as he turned off the lights. The rain continued to pour on its gnashing mode, such heavy as his heart on hers to resist.
He knelt beside the bed and closed his eyes, his wings appeared like a cozy shade and flapped slowly downwards, cloaking, as he bowed on the floor. For angels, it is the deepest form of prayer. He was praying to God of Abraham for more strengths so that he may squarely fight against evil with vigor and to shield them all with due protection from heavens. The lightning struck the window, leaving a white soft flower. Godem in Seb’s body was teary eyed while moving closer to the window and picked out the sign and put it on Karla’s hair.
” Oh God the Father, your omnipotent greatness is overflowing in my heart. Thank you for giving me this sign.” He emotionally smiled to God’s favor on him.
Suddenly, the rain had stopped and the placid moment rolled in. The innermost silence fuming the air and the mystique moonlight appeared, visible out from Seb’s windows. Seb was standing on his wings, resting while leaning his hands on the edge of the window and smiligly looked up to the full moon.
” Beautiful! you are a magnificent creation of Him. You flicker as an immortartal light as you bagged all the pieces of my heart, wallowing my entire soul and of Nomin’s. Your vibe is a puzzle I could not carefully fathom. A dream in my restless soul.” Godem in Seb thought.
In a while, a car had stopped and parked outside beside Seb’s compound, the parents just arrived. They were dozing to death and running to unlock the gate, and so they did.
” Seb! Seb! get out, let’s talk outside!” Gloria loudly whined.
Seb dressed up on its nightly outfit and went out.
” Come, sit down! Why you put so much shame on us! Camille cried out told me that you embarrassed her. Seb! we’re on a business deal, hadn’t you know that?” She screamed like a witch as her lipstick saddled on her cheek when she wiped them on sides.
” Mom, she isn’t even a woman and does not know how to make a man, haha. Hope you understand” Seb recoiled as he slowly walked off, heading to his room.
” Speechless.” She remained seated lifeless and shocked, shaking in anger as she heavily stamped her hand on the coffee table and then collapsed.
Rodolfo rushed her to the hospital and the Doctor attending declared her death on arrival due to heart failure. Out of loss and pain, Rodolfo called home and informed Seb about her death. Sadly, Seb awakened Nomin with the sad news and Nomin ran to the hospital and wept. But in the entrance, Rodolfo was in a little comfort seeing Nomin and smiled though he wanted to have Seb around.
” Where’s Seb? kindly go back and tell him her mother’s life was revived while she was brought on by the stretcher to the morgue. Isn’t this a miracle!” Rodolfo cheerfully told Nomin.
While the old man turned back to the hospital, Nomin rushed beside the car at the parking area and checked whether he was alone, then gone.
In a spur, he was already beside Seb.
” Ow, what happened? Tell me.”
” Mom’s alive, isn’t this weird for a devil’s ally. I think she’s not mom anymore, Demido woke her up, I guess.” Nomin exclaimed.
” Hmm, that could be possible. We could probably insinuate the dark soul, once fouled, it would come out to squarely fight us again.” Seb’s prognosis.
” That’s somehow a perfect teaser. Though, mom’s sudden death had sadly destructed me but the opportunity could be our vehicle to drive him down. When shall that plan will commence?” Nomin queried.
” The soonest.” Seb replied.
” Coffee…” Karla appeared with a bit of her smile, looking at them.
Of sickeningly sadder days, her eyes blunts the moment with gracious vibe, her looks and sweet smell made them hard to resist. Nomin’s heart was entertwined and senseless to the pain and loss, and the interlude of communing with her aura, so easing and pleasant that imbues heartwarming connections. She’s someone who’s worth-staring in a lifetime.
While Seb’s innocent looks seemingly peels off the heavenly spirits she hand in with his cup, he forgot the hot coffee splashed on his palm and lap because he was glued to her eyes with his plumbing heart and noisy bloodstreams, the thought in the realm of seeing someone better than a day and forever.
“Ows! sorry…I’ll go get a new cup of coffee and a table towel, sorry Seb.” Then she left them for a while.
” No comment.” Nomin said.
” Me either” Seb added.
She got back looking at them still on their sitting position and were mesmerized.
” Hi, hello…are you both okay?” Not any word comes from your mouth. Anyway, just enjoy your cups of coffee now.” as Karla moved closer to Seb and wiped the spilled coffee on his lap while Karla’s hair strands slowly tickled his bearded face and imbued a lasting glowing smoothness on his broad shoulders.
Seb was not moving nor breathing and he became a perfect description of a human statue, in a second and sliding through a minute caused by a wonderful incident ever. Then suddenly, he took the newly refilled cup of coffee, sipping and smelling its aroma till he closed his eyes and treasured the moment.
” Its the best coffee I ever had.” Then Seb smiled and Nomin shook his head praying for such ordeal to happen on him too.
