Through the Wings of Timeless Love - Chapter 53：Rumbling Heartbeats

Seb gently removed her arms away from his sensitive body and pinched a little of Godem’s ear. Then Godem woke up.

” Seb…why I’m here? I slept beside Nomin last night. Why you brought me here?” Godem whispered as he turned his head on her smiling.

” Hmm…why you’re smiling looking at her while I’m in the middle of my agony.”

” She’s so sweet, look at her, she did not even think that the danger is just beside me right now…poor Karla…Hah! I’ll go out now..huhum…I’m still sleepy, I’ll go back to Nomin”

Seb was sarcastically smiling to himself when he casually left just as nothing had happened. Then he recalled the dark shadow spy lodging inside the cat just casually escaped at the window. At around 5:50 am, Karla finally stretched her hands upwards, yawning. When she saw him smiling while looking at her, she unexpectedly stepped down and hugged him as he stood up. It was a great hug indeed and leaned her head on his chest.

” Good morning Seb…I loved seeing you this early, thank you.”

Her soft hug lasted for minutes and it was such an ambush. She was listening to his heartbeats, she’s so silent, smiling then looked up to his face and said.

” It’s 115!” Karla smiled at him with his reddish face.

” Just for a while, please.”

” Hmm…ye…yes…ss, you..may.” Seb replied restlessly as her rumbling heartbeats were already tormented by her head on his chest.

” Then she backed off smiling, Seb..it’s 140!”

He awkwardly smiled and put her – back on his chest.

” My dear, take your time having fun with me these days, just don’t look at me with…” He dare not to continue and smiled.

But in a split second, she poke a single kiss on his chest and ran as fast as she could, going out of the room.

Seb bit his lip and his arms were numbed, standing still, blushing. No one’s monitoring his heartbeats anymore but he guessed it’s more than 140 and rising. Minutes later, she sat back on a small chair, bowed down and pressed his head.

” Good heavens…what is she doing to me….” Seb smilingy thought.

When he got out from the room after taking a bath, Karla went back and locked the door. She took a bath and had her holiday get up. She did a little cleaning and mopped the floor, put some perfume around and smelled the white roses beside her bed. In a while, she sat by the bed and looked at the white roses and crazily conversed to them.

” Your sponsor is so cute…” Then she smiled and stood up.

Without her knowing, Seb awkwardly smiled outside, listening to her heart’s thoughts.

” I’m dying inside to hold you now…you spoiled girl.” He thought as he proceeded to the kitchen for breakfast.

” Okay….people….breakfast is ready, come on here! everyone….” Godem announced.

” Oh, you’re smiling Seb…your seat is here, where are the rest?”

” I’ll enjoy my breakfast first, I’m so literally hungry.”

Seb was in panic when he saw the cat below the table. She slowly went outside to look for Nomin. He saw him exercising.

” Bro, come on, let’s sit down by the swing.” Seb signaled him.

He told Nomin what he had found out and he immediately took his towel and went inside, took his phone and texted to Godem everything. Godem left his phone inside their room so Nomin just brought Godem’s phone and gave it to him at the kitchen. Godem was shocked but still sounded as if nothing happens. He even called Karla and they sat together, putting some rice and viand on her plate. The innocent Karla was looking to Seb and Nomin, but Seb was just very quiet. Godem continued to talk noisily.

Godem led the prayer to bless the food and so they started the bounty meal. Both Nomin and Seb allowed Godem to only talk but Godem slowly extended to Karla his cellphone as Karla read it and she covered her mouth in shock.”

” Karla and I will be enjoying for today’s holiday and the chat continued. ” The spy cat was just below buzzing and listening.

Nomin communicated to Seb through his thought.

” This is strange, we could not detect that cat as dark shadow, how come.” Nomin said.

” Me either, that one is a real threat. But we’ll try our best to hide ourselves as much as possible. Remember the meta plan, it depends on us too. Let Godem spearhead the moves, he’s an expert to that field, he don’t easily gets tired. Let him pretend as husband, but with all of our might let’s keep an eye to Karla. Godem is immortal and you too, no worries to both of you.” Godem in Seb said.

” Yes, absolutely. Let’s finish the breakfast early and as if nothing happens. I have readied her oil already.”

” Huh…that coconut hot oil treatment again.”

” Hahaha….just keep quiet. This is just one of the few things I’d like to do before I leave. Hmm…” Nomin thought to Seb.

The breakfast was over and Godem took good care of the dishes.

” Meow….meow.here’s your food, come here, we’ll massage you again in the afternoon for my tutorial to my wife. So here…have some food, you need energy…that’s good, eat some more.” Godem smiled.

Karla was just listening to the funny Godem as she walked away going to Seb’s room. There she found them both chatting.

“So here she is.”

Nomin shared elaborately to Karla their plan for the cat. They just need to text the situation to some angel allies who will help catch the dark shadow within the cat for interrogation. Karla was a bit afraid, recalling the massage tutorial. Then Nomin left.

” How are you…hmm…you kissed my…and you ran, I called that cheating…you called me dangerous, but you always provoke on me…hmm, how is that.” Seb was smiling while looking at her who was still afraid with the spy cat. He shook her hair to calm her down.

” No worries, I’m here for you.”

” Hmm….I’m afraid to the cat already.”

Then Seb headed to take a bath at Godem and Nomin’s place, he gently grabbed her hand to stay beside Godem and Nomin at the kitchen. Thus he left her with their company for her safety as she seated.
