After 30 minutes, that long hair was rinsed, shampooed and Nomin meticulously separate the hair strands. Seb curiously watched.

” Can I do the rest?” Seb whisperingly asked.

Karla transfered to another chair and Seb started to follow the simulation of Nomin that later made him more interested of rinsing, till the washing time. Unknowingly, Nomin left them while Seb seriously followed what the instruction has to fulfill, for the last step is to use another towel to dry up the hair. She was closing her eyes while tapping the towel all over. She smilingly stood up, combed her hair and faced the mirror likewise put his hands on his waist, breathing in and out as they both smiled, looking at themselves on the mirror.

” Nomin was right. The feeling is different. Seeing us – together this way, has this beautiful shared experience. I…I wanted to be your best friend too.” Seb smiled at her on the mirror, rest his chin on her shoulder and wrapped her with his arms.”

” Bestfriends….”

” Bestfriends and Lovers. It’s what a husband like me wants us to be.” Seb added.

” Yes…in both ways I do.” Karla pressed his hands.

With that serene moment, so timely that mighty Godem arrived and disturbed their silence.

” Excuse me, let’s just reschedule the massage session this morning since you finished the treatment earlier than expected. Hmm…the cat seems ready.”

” Hahaha…that timing is great! So the cat is ready, hmm…did you tell Nomin about this?” Seb and Karla just got out from the bathroom and Seb left her for a while to change. They walked off towards the receiving area.

” Yes, he knew. In fact, he texted the GP crew to come, he said. We have cakes today, he said.”

” Good.” Seb nodded.

The crew arrived with their fresh cake delivery, about 6 of them and eventually entered the house. Before they come, Nomin already put a sacred net covering the house where the cat is – so the intruder cannot escape at all.

Each of the crew were on post, surrounding the compound. Godem approached the cat below the table and it immediately transformed into a dark shadow.

” Hmm…in peace we shall surrender, isn’t it?” Godem released neon-like flashes that hit the evil, but it flew heading outside and tried to escape but at the entrance Seb scooped the dark shadow with a fire net.

” The spy was caught at last.” Nomin said.

The tension in the house subsided when Psyda and Gante arrived and brought the spy to the portal. Everyone were relaxing in the receiving area.

” Seb, you nailed it again. You’re super cool!”Godem said.

” Yeah, he was trapped right away, Seb got him so we’ll.” Nomin smiled while comforting Karla. Seb told her through thought to cover Karla’s ears and he said.

” We’ll go to the portal right now. Nomin knows what to do with her, the usual.”

” At 5:00 pm, let’s get back for our group date, it won’t be postponed.”

” Wow! I’ll bring my cake at the portal.” Godem smiled.

Nomin does the trick and made her a kitten. Seb took his packbag, put some small holes on it and put the sleeping kitten inside and off they go to the portal.

” Seb, Nomin and Godem, we tried to check his memories and found out that he already had reported to Demido his first investigation. Demido had seen Godem sleeping with Karla and Demido already had some plans to abducting Godem our angel. With this, he will be our bait and your plan with Gante and Psyda will be continued.” Banli said.

” So…Godem will be taken?” Seb asked.

” Yes…we need not to worry, as immortal, even if they will ruin him in threefold, he will get back for his next missions a hundred times. His reward would be his memories, retained and not anyone is forgotten. Tonight, he will be abducted, tortured and temporarily die in their hands. Demido would think that Godem will give him the permission to surrender Karla to them. That act of catching an angel wrongly in the battlefield between humans and immortals is the primary ground of breaking the heavens’ law and will end up the existence of Demido in the lives of humans. He cannot return anymore.” Banli explained.

Seb and Nomin drew closer to Godem and hugged him. They were Banli’s sobbing angels, the outburst was deep.

” Enough already, he’ll be poisoned by your tears and can’t leave peacefully tonight. One of you will be following soon, someone will be left as human and become Karla’s husband.” After knowing such painful verdict, they brought Nomin back to the city with droopy shoulders but Seb decided to continue the group date.

” Hello…why everyone’s lonely. Only Godem is busy touching his cakes as if he won’t eat tomorrow anymore.” Karla smiled.

” Hmm…my dear, Nomin will braid your hair then we’ll go then for our group date and let Godem finish as many slices he would want, let him leave nothing in the box.” Seb whispered to her.

” Karl, come on here, I’ll start braiding your hair, I’m sure the strands are very soft now.” Nomin forcibly smiled at her.

Seb inhaled from the bottom of his lungs and entered her room – alone and meditating. His wings appeared on his back and cloaked him.

” God the Father…let thy will be done. We thank for Godem’s memories with us, as he was Nomin’s soul and my body. Please keep him a little stronger tonight to save Karla and her family from Demido’s destructions. Please tell us on things we can somehow partake to lessen his agony tonight.” Seb knelt, put all his palms and forehead on the floor while his tears on it. It was indeed a heavy heart but he submit to the heavens the will for him.

Outside, Godem was done eating the cake and was very full.

” I’ve got a lot to keep.” He smiled.

Seb went out and invited them to gather at the receiving area. Karla was stunned.

” My dear…there’s a bad news you must know. I thought that if we keep this from you, it would be more painful.”

” What’s that…” Karla queried to Seb.

” Our master, Banli, informed us that…Godem will be leaving tonight. He will be the sacrificial lamb to end up Demido.

” Godem was just listening and bowed down his head. Karla moved to him, crying and embraced him.

” Why?” She asked.

” To end up this war between the dark shadows and angels.

” So…it’s the reason why you ate all the cake slices?…I…I can’t, this isn’t fair.” She went to Seb and asked him to help Godem but Seb was still empty.

” Seb, please help Godem…” She was shaking him but Nomin picked her up and slowly put her back to the couch.

” He’ll temporarily die, but remember, he’s immortal. This is all part of his mission. Let’s submit everything to the Lord.” Nomin explained.
