The emotional outburst had gone so painful when Godem went to their room and took his few valuables and had it all well- distributed to his friends.

” I got Karla all my peso bills out of the 2-month salary, buy these for chocolate cakes when you’ll miss me and assorted baby’s clothes and toys. Seb will have my polo shirts, hmm…jeans and Nomin will have all my laundries. Karl, you feed our cat, don’t get tired of massaging him.” He smiled and the more Karla sobbed and hugged him.

” Godem…” Nomin felt too much pain inside.

” Wait…I have to take a bath first before they’ll capture me, hmm…I wanted to die, clean and tidy. I should report to paradise again with a refreshing soul.” He took his towel and get inside the bathroom then prayed and knelt.

” Oh God…grateful for the days spent caring for the couple Karla and Godem’s soul. May you bless them and may have peace after I die. Through me, Seb’s soul in my immortal body will have his graceful exit and shall not suffer in the purgatory. His temporary status as angel will I hope be brought in your paradise with Grace and mercy. When I volunteered to be sent for this mission, I said hurrah! I really waited for this to come, now my soul is at peace. I failed three times being Karla’s guardian angel, for three centuries, three times she died and he followed because I failed to fight against the evil Demido. Now, I’m grateful for this payback. I deserved to be one of the trusted angels of heavens.”

” Nomin…pray for all of us. Help me.” Then he sighed.

Twilight started to quiver in the skies. The angels, together with Karla got out and really realized their group date. They were at the baywalk, catching the fresh air and trying to feel better with each other. They certainly decided to try some street foods to one of the stalls. While enjoying their orders and readied themselves for Godem’s captivity, there was a sudden lightning in the skies, followed by thunderstorms wrapped up by the cottony clouds of the night. No one will hinder Godem’s fate, the heaven’s will – all’s for everyone’s peaceful journey. Eventually, the raging dark shadows were rushing for him, hundreds of them. Seb in a while was just sensing with his tear fall while pressing Godem’s hand.

” Godem, thank you…God be with you. Banli said you’ll live again in hundredfold, I like it, I should not worry, you’ll live again and again.”

” I’ll get back in your family, one day.” Then he smiled when a dark shadow grabbed him and Godem was gone.

Nomin tricked Karla to feel and see nothing so she was just silent while Seb and Nomin sighed and looked at the heavens.

” Thy will be done.” Seb whispered and suffocated by too much pain.

” Thy will be done.” Nomin added and brought Karla for a walk, going inside the car while Seb followed them with droopy shoulders.

They reached home restless and Nomin immediately settled on his bed. On the other hand, Seb carried Karla to their bed and kissed her forehead, she was too much in pain. Seb was beside her, putting his two hands at the back of his head and served as his pillow. He still shed tears, mourning and felt sorry for not fighting against the evil because it’s an order. He could have knocked them down than leaving his friend unguarded. But he thought of another episodes, next days and months and years – if what it would be without Demido.

The windows were opened so he can just look up to the moon up high. It was utterly beautiful as he looked to Karla and returned her sensitivities. When she opened her eyes he again sobbed and put her head below his chin and wrapped her arms around him.

” Seb…I missed him…”

” Yes…indeed. Nomin and I feel the same, but this will all pass, he was smiling when he left us. I saw it. He said he’ll be back in our family, I heard it.” Then his tears flowed again and put his hands around her and she whispered.

” When can we see him again…”

” That we do not know yet, but he told me..he’ll be back for us. I believed, that he will.”

Karla loudly cried and Nomin was in pain listening to her.

Seb was trying to ease the pain by caressing her back below the neck.

” If you stop, I will. I put so much blame on me too, but the heaven’s will is mighty than what I can do. In the next few hours, the trial would start. Demido right now is celebrating and currently asking Godem to catch you. If he’ll say yes nor no, both of which, they’ll kill him and would come here for you, but before that the heavens will catch him first and will forcibly be attending the trial. Then the verdict is win-win. He’ll found out that Godem is not the son of Gloria but an angel. No one can anymore rescue him even their head. He will be punished forever.

” He was a great man and taught me a lot of things. We have so many secrets…secrets, yes.”

” Aha…what are your secrets? I’d like to know some.

” Hmm…we’ll always make Seb jealous, it’s funny because he kept on listening at us.”

” Aha…what’s the second secret….”

” He..taught me to quickly learn to massage, memorize the spots because Nomin told him to teach me. I do not know if it’s true.”

” Hmm…what’s the third.’

” He told me that there was one night he was still inside me while I was asleep. You drew near and told me something scary. Better that I wasn’t able to hear.”

” Ehem…my goodness…such a rumor.” Then he smiled dryly.

” He also said, angels don’t lie. Isn’t it true that everything he told me is correct or wrong?”

” Hmm…what should I answer. Nomin…Nomin….please come…help me.”

” I’m sleepy…” can’t go there now.

” I see…so what should I answer.”

He smilingly looked at her eyes with his voice so exhausted. After that undefended glances by his wife that seemed lasted forever and for being cornered in an edge of the cliff, he forcibly closed his eyes for at times when you are out into trial too you always have the right to remain silent. Indeed, a savant careful lover since he knew that the third question was the most difficult to lie.

” What’s the answer.” She asked persistently and curiously, staring at him in seconds, minutes till almost an hour, he was just quiet. Deep inside him was in chaos, his heartbeats were disturbed by her sticky soft stares but he was just thinking of Godem – his whereabouts at the moment and the tortures he will be passing through before death.

Her sleepy eyes were staring on his bearded face as she touched them, his well-chiselled nose and lips gently carved by her silly finger.

” Hmm…you’re sleeping already, goodnight my dear….I must sleep now, I’m in pain today for losing a dear friend, thanks for the comfort. Yes, I will not think the worst pain but he is coming back.”

” And then she slept on his arms holding his hand.

” Good that you sleep in the wrong time. Hmm…don’t touch my face these days, it tickles me a lot and your questions are too difficult to answer. Aha…secrets. You better sleep that way.” He blushed.

But she was electrified by her face and warm body that was too close on him. Albeit he gently took a pillow and put it under her head and had some blanket to cover her unprotected self. He rushed to the bathroom and took a bath. When he got out, he stayed for a while on his foam on the floor, looking at her sleeping so tight.

” I’m dying to marry you again lady, for the fourth time and I want to hold you differently. I will preserve you in as much as I could for the time being. I love you very much.” He whispered.
