When Seb in Nomin left the room, Karla’s heart was seemingly twisted. He felt sorry to her bestfriend who took good care of her for several years.

” Don’t worry of me now, you successfully returned me home. But there’s a lot to thank you for and I’ll be missing you.” She hugged him and smiled.

” Likewise, you both take care of yourselves and fulfill each of your dreams. Needless to say, but this is the most wonderful prize you both have ever garnered for waiting. As such, make every moment being with each other memorable and love unceasingly.” He tearfully smiled and tapped Godem in Seb.

When the door was closed as Seb in Nomin finally left, Godem in Seb pressed Karla’s hands.

” It’s not easy to lose Nomin in my immortal body and now here’s Seb in Nomin leaving us too. We’ll take this day by day. Good thing is, they’re in heavens and there’s nothing to worry. Come…” Godem in Seb smiled.

” I forgot, I need to remove the kettle now and look at the wall clock, it’s already 6:00 pm, time to pick for our dinner. You’ve been out of this world and hungry, hold my hand instead, let’s go to the kitchen.”

He was meaningfully smiling and held her hand as they went out of the room and he seated for dinner. She moved closer and put some potato salad with dressing on his plate. Meanwhile, he was looking at her while she silently and seriously tasting the potato salad with some grapes and lettuce around on her plate.

” What’s in your food…hmm, you’re horribly silent, it seems you’re afraid.” Then he smiled and have some bite of lettuce dipped on the creamy sauce.

” It’s nothing…just thinking on things happening around. Hmm…I’m not afraid either, what for, when you’re with me. Here…you get some.” She blushed and smiled and gave to him that protagonist bowl of salad.

” Thanks. I thought you’re avoiding me and you can’t even look at my eyes. Now that only the two of us are left, this obviously means that we’re this couple at home and it’s because we’re lawfully married.”

” You nailed it. It’s exactly what I mean.” She smiled dryly and blushed again.

” Yeah, me too…but we’ll try to figure out what it’s goin’ to be next. We’ll take everything lightly, okay.” Then he looked at her again and smiled.

After dinner, he went inside his room and took a bath. He whistled while started to shower while Karla finished the kitchen chores then went inside to the guest room and took a bath.

” Ding dong! ding dong!” The door bell sounded.

It’s Marlou bringing some wine and put these bottles at the terrace table.

“Anybody home? I just opened the gate without prior notice, hellooo! anybody! Seb! Seb!”

” Yeah…yeah… your noise sounds like 911 haha…of all the days why you come around today, of all the dots within 365 days.” Then he smiled at him.

” Haha you sounded desperately, come on, I am more pissed off with this Camille hunting our shares. Did you know that she illegally merged Demido’s share on her.” Then he opened one of the wines and fill in two glasses of it.”

” By the way…where is she?”

” Who?” Seb replied.

” Your wife, Karla, so curious of her after those eight long years and now she’s back then you remarry to her, just asking.” Marlou asked.

A little while, Karla got out and greeted him while put some peanuts on a food rack in front of them. She also left and went to the guest room and used the dryer on her hair.

She closed the windows and looked at the spot where the two, Nomin and Godem usually sleeps.

” I missed their noise.” Then she cried again.

She slept with tears on her cheeks while hugging the pillow.

The night rolled so fast and it quickly goes down to 1:00 am. Consequently, Seb carried Marlou to his room and put him a blanket. Before he left he ensured that the aircon is in full mode.

” He never knew I threw some of the wines from my glasses, hmm but still I am drunk.” He smiled.

Then he managed to tidy himself in the bathroom before joining Karla on her bed. Then slowly he moved closer and wrapped his arms around her.

” You’re … drunk.” She whispered.

” Yes, a bit but…” Then a little while he snorred and gone to deeply sleep.

” Good.” Then she held and kissed his hand tight, put it on her face before she slept, and smiling.

In the morning, Marlou woke up at 6:00 am and when he passed by at the kitchen he saw her preparing the breakfast.

” Hi! I need to go now Karl. Sorry for disturbing your honeymoon, I just don’t have any hiding place to express my sentiments. My wife is in Manila for a seminar.”

” Oh, it’s okay, no worries. It”s Seb’s responsibility too.” Then she smiled at him.

” Come on, grab a chair and join us, he’ll I guess could get out now.”

” Ah, just don’t, I really need to go to buy some medicine, I have a headache now and still my head is a bit dizzy. Okay Karla, am really going now, thanks.” Then he left.

The moment Marlou closed the main door was also the same time where Seb opened the guest room.

” Good morning Darling, how is the visitor doing?”

“He just left. He said he’ll come again tonight.” She jokingly said and smiled while arranging the sunny side up on the platter.

” What? what did you say to him.” Seb looked at her smiling.

” I said, sure, it’s okay.”

” Is that true?” He smiled again and cornered his wife from lying by wrapping his arms around her again.

” Okay, I’m just kidding. He didn’t say of returning yet.” And they both laughed while settling themselves for their breakfast.

They reached the company at exactly 8:00 am and people around have smile on their faces while seeing Seb holding hands with his wife that people presupposed that she was.
