Time Twister - 96 POV
Strangely, the planets were quite calm and balanced. The 3rd planet that contained Trees of Destruction was barren, with nothing but the 3 trees growing. For the 8th planet, it was quite chaotic to navigate; space-time in the area was screwed up, where time shifts to a different speed in one step and the space becoming confusing, with the points and intersections mixing up or not even existing, creating impossible spaces and even improbable situations to occur in the planet itself.
However, it was a good experience for me, since I can meditate more on the duality of space-time from Order and Chaos elements.
On the 1st planet, there were 3 of each type of tree, making it quite… colorful. If you look at it from one perspective, one can say there is a semblance of order; in other, one can say it is chaotic in nature.
The trees where Order, Evolution, Dream, and Chaos resided grew weird, mutated plants and metals, and even microorganisms on the planet were not spared.
The trees where Creation, Destruction, Life, and Dimension resided were relatively stable, with the area of the Trees of Destruction being empty, and space where Destruction and Life met forming some sort of organism. All the trees, with the exception of Destruction trees, were growing flowers, meaning fruit production was possible, meaning, seed production.
Yes, no need to destroy stuff too much, haha.
Relatively, what I found out with my current arrangement of the planets was that there was a delicate balance formed, and I should try to maintain that as much as possible until I get more concept seeds. This was the name I came up with for these kinds of seeds that completely embody the specific elements.
Probably, there might be a Yin tree or a Yang tree, A fire, water, air, earth/metal, or wood tree, etc. However, from the research I had conducted for the past years inside the laboratory, I still couldn’t completely understand how these elements could even give birth to a tree that completely represented them. Maybe, the reason for the failure for clarity is my current comprehension?
Damn, I’m really tempted to create a space seed then. Sigh.
Oh well, I still have around 300 thousand years. I should start reading up and creating some elixir medicines as well. After all, I got the time now, hehe.
Wow, what a corny joke. Oof, then again, I’m just a child. I can be guilt-free in making these cringey jokes, haha!
Ok, serious mode. Let’s start reading and watching the materials.
And that what I did for the next 144,000 years.
I managed to read all the documents and methods of crafting elixirs. In fact, with my current knowledge accumulation, I could be considered an Ancestor-rank magibiopharmacist already. I just needed to put into practice what I read and watched for the past hundred thousand years to reach the standard of 75% increased success rate.
I should start first a container to be heated, to place the necessary ingredients inside.
Hmm, I should use the same pot I used to mix the artifact materials. I just modified the space around it to contain the ingredients, after all, and it is see-through so I can take note of what’s happening in real-time.
Now for the flame, what flame should I use…
According to the research material, there were several types of flames used by magibiopharmacists, namely Mortal, Earth, Sky, Heaven, Immortal, and Universe flames, with Mortal being the most common, and the Universe is one of the best flames to use.
Accordingly, the flames produced by normal tinder can be considered a Mortal flame. Earth flames would be the type of fire produced in the heart of volcanoes and areas of high concentrations of fire. Sky flames are flames produced by Fire sprites and the flames produced by the stars. Heaven flames are the flames that already contained nomological truths, like the Eternal Fire.
For immortal and Universe flames, I have absolutely no idea where I could get those, as even in the records, these two were just theorized to exist.
Oh well, got to make do with Heaven flames, then. It does give 15% increased success though. Using the calculations set, I would have a 91% success chance of crafting a 20-star elixir, its quality determined by the materials I use in making it.
Ok, let’s try refining 1 star to 5 stars to get started.
Preparing materials… hmm, let’s use “Earthen Pill Elixir” and “Cloudy Mist Pill Elixir” recipes.
The first recipe requires Class 2 or higher earth-type plant materials, as well as 30 grams of Carbonite metal and Herzick crystal, while the second recipe requires Class 3 or higher air-type and water-type materials, as well as 30 grams of Callite and Farmilz crystals in powder form. Both require a Bofram solution, a type of light water, as the solvent and binder.
The first step is heating. The materials are heated in Bofram water, slowly dissolving them into the mixture. The time varies based on the number and quality of materials used, as well as the general, initial interactions the materials have with one another and with the solution.
The second step is combining. After the heterogeneous mixture is formed, the next step is transforming it into a homogeneous mixture. By this time, the excess solution should have evaporated, leaving a purer concentration. This is usually the longest part, as it can take numerous processes to ensure homogeneity, such as mixing, pressure, and forcefully controlling individual particles to chain and connect to one another by the use of elemental control, forcing the interactions to occur between the materials and stabilize their forms.
The third step is formation. After the homogeneous mixture has been achieved, the product is now subjected to spatial pressure, compressing any spaces between, and forcing the interactions of the molecules of the solution to link and form a stable, immobile structure. This is if one is forming a pill, and not an elixir solution.
It took me 30 minutes to finish the two elixirs. I had a bit of a problem with the second step, causing me to delay for an additional 10 minutes, but this was easily resolved. I was glad though that even if it was a 1-star elixir, it was an Immaculate Quality. This meant that even if it was 1 star, it can show 2 stars above potency, so it was actually a 3 star.
At the same time, the amount of elixirs produced is relative to the ratio of ingredients placed. Since I only placed enough for 1 pill to be formed each, only a total of 2 pills was created.
I needed to maintain such quality with the pills I make, then. Let me try other higher stars this time.
This process of refining and practicing pill formation took around 300,000 years. The first 1,000 years were focused on me getting 10 stars and below elixir pills and elixirs have the quality standard of Immaculate or higher. For every 10,000 years that came after, I focused on raising the quality standard of 11-star to 20-star elixir pills and elixir solutions to that of Perfect, and another 100,000 years to achieve Immaculate quality. Whenever I ran out of ingredients, I just used [Temporal Replication] and [Materialized Past] to create them back en-masse. The easiest way for me, however, to use these skills was to place the ingredients out in the laboratory, create a snapshot, and keep replicating it over and over again.
The remaining 99,000 years was focused on refining the recipes, making weaker or stronger derivatives by combining recipes, replacing certain ingredients, or manipulating the amount per ingredient, adding elemental crystals into the mix.
This was where my 144,000 years of reviewing, reading, and watching resources related to magibiopharmacists came into play. Although the accumulated experience and knowledge solidified my rank as that of an Ancestor-level magibiopharmacist, I was still far away from becoming an Artisan, someone who is said to create high-quality, high-potency elixir pills and elixirs even by just using the simplest materials.
I still have to rely on my materials’ quality, purity, and Class to improve the quality of the products produced.
I stood up from my spot after a long period of sitting, stretching my arms out, and releasing a yawn.
I feel sleepy since I haven’t slept for the past 99,000 years. I should harvest the plants before heading out of the laboratory. Oh, right, I also have to categorize and clean up the pills.
After 10 days of categorizing and organizing them in my spatial pocket, I was amazed that I had managed to produce quite a lot of elixirs and elixir pills.
1-5 stars: 20 million pills, all of which were Immaculate quality.
6-10 stars: 50 million pills, all of which were Immaculate quality.
11-15 stars: 100 million pills, 20 million were Perfect, 80 million were Immaculate quality.
16-20 stars: 80 million pills, 60 million were Perfect, 20 million were Immaculate quality.
I used up more than 300 million sets of materials to create this amount though. With 1 to 15 stars being always successful, my actual success rate was roughly 61.5% for 16 to 20 stars. What I should do is improve production quality ratio and success for 16 to 20 stars.
Another sad thing was that I didn’t manage to produce any of the legendary stars elixirs, wherein the potency is greater than 750% of the original level of the materials used. I had only read of it, but even the descriptions were quite vague about how they were obtained in the first place. Oh well, maybe that’s what I’ll aim for as I go along.
After a few hours of harvesting the plants and collecting the elemental crystals being produced in different environments in the 9 planets, I did a general scan of the laboratory.
The radius of the laboratory was currently 1.12e+15 light-years, with the origin point being the 9 planets and the star they circled around. There were hundreds of planets already finished forming, and more and more were continuously being formed. However, it is unsure if all planets would develop life, or will they all be dead and barren.
I left the laboratory after ensuring everything in the space was in order, with the ordered system working and functioning properly and as intended. When I appeared in my basement door again, it was already 8 pm. I decided to eat some fruits along with the fermented wine and headed to sleep. After all, classes began tomorrow.
