Time Twister - 98 POV
“Once again, your contracts amaze me,” Glaucia says dazedly at me. I shrugged. I just felt it was equal reciprocity, after all.
“Eh, they’re nothing special. Now, since the deal has been completed, complete the transfer already; I still need to go to another auction house.”
“Hmmm? Another auction house?” Glaucia said dangerously, a glint appearing in her eyes. I rolled my eyes, and explained,
“Uh, yeah, in Ria continent. I’m in a rush.”
“…Fine. The deal has been completed. The total amount for this transaction is 1.164 trillion Etas. Following taxation laws in Eta, the final amount is 989.4 billion Etas.”
“Transfer has been completed. Thank you once again, Mr. Cloverfield, for such a bountiful reward.” Glaucia spoke, her voice flat. Upon checking the bank, it was really transferred, I nodded in response and waved goodbye.
“No worries. By the way, if you plan to sell the pills, make sure you tell them it was made by the Chronicler, ok? I need the clout for my name to grow in the elixir-making field! Now, just make sure you massage your boobs so they’ll grow ok? They’re really still flat as a piece of cardboard, sigh.” I said carelessly as I left through the door, and as I closed it, I felt it vibrate with something being thrown at it. Haha, I already reinforced it.
Ok, Let’s go now to Ria. Hopefully, the deal would be better. I immediately teleported to one of the cities of Castille, Celade city located in Red province.
Pankaj conglomerate could be said to be very business and cultivation-oriented, so they just suited my products being sold and then auctioned by them, having their auction houses spread in almost every country in the Ria continent.
I headed to the auction house owned by the conglomerate and was still amazed at the differences between two different auction houses. Pankaj auction houses focused on reliability, defense, and practicality in design, totally opposite to that of the Whitefield auction houses.
There were around 3 other people in the lobby beside me, and there was only one main counter, but there were only 2 people sitting behind the counter, a male dwarf and a female elf.
I was surprised that the two weren’t fighting, and were even joking around with one another. Didn’t the two races hate one another?
When I approached the counter, it was the female elf who greeted me gently, saying,
“Hello there, child. Are you lost? Do you need any assistance?”
I inwardly rolled my eyes before smiling at her, saying,
“Hi, I have a meeting with Mr. Senna Novák for today. My name is Xander Cloverfield.”
“A-ah, I see, please, wait for a moment.” The lady said, a bit flustered before she began to contact the secretary of Mr. Novák concerning any meetings set-up for today for a Mr. Cloverfield.
Immediately, the secretary responded, “Quickly, send him to the Private VIP room! Be courteous and tell him that Mr. Novák would go in the room in a moment!” Upon seeing the response written by the secretary, the female elf sweat for a bit. After all, she even called a VIP guest a child??
Just her luck. She gave a traditional smile and said to me,
“Sir, your meeting had been confirmed, and Mr. Novák will meet you in one of our private VIP rooms. If you could please follow me.”
I nodded and followed behind the elf, heading to the elevator. We arrived on the 4th floor, wherein there were only 2 rooms that made up the whole floor.
The design in the VIP room was quite different from the rest of the auction house; it was almost similar in taste and design as the Whitefield’s auction house.
Seeing me take a seat, the elf lady bowed, and then said,
“Please feel free to call me if you have any requests or inquiries through the in-built communicator in the table. My name is Ayeriah.” She then exited the room, closing the door gently behind her.
I looked around, quite bored. I only knew Mr. Novák through my mom’s connections. She said this person was trustworthy, and that he can keep secrets of his clients.
Oh well, I wont trust him until he signs the contract, though.
After a few minutes, the door opened, revealing the figure of a man in his late 30s, not quite old but not quite young either. He had trimmed beard with his defined face having pronounced eastern features, totally different from Xander’s father.
When he saw me, he smiled gently, saying,
“Ah, Ms. Faria’s son, I presume? You’ve grown so fast!”
“Hello, Mr. Novák,” I responded gently and politely. I could faintly detect his magic and elemental fluctuations, giving me a hint of his current cultivation: Demigod class.
“Please, call me Uncle Senna. It feels weird that Faria’s son would call me a Mister, haha!” Novák replied, chortling for a bit.
I nodded, saying, “Ok, uncle Senna.”
“Ok, so, how are you doing? Are your mom and dad fine? I heard the news! It seems you’re going to be a big brother, eh? Aren’t you excited?”
“My family and I are doing well, uncle Senna. Hopefully, no problems will occur during the delivery. Anyways, uncle, I hope to discuss a business trade with you.”
“That’s good to hear! Now, about your business trade, I’ve heard a bit about it from your mom. You plan to sell some plant materials and elixirs, correct?”
“That’s right.”
“That’s fine and all, but you should know that we have standards concerning the materials being sold. For example, the-”
“Uncle Senna, no worries. I can assure you that the items are highly satisfactory for your business group.” I interrupted him, as I felt that it would take too much time if I planned to listen to his spiel about the things I already knew.
“…Hmm, alright then. You can show me the items you want to sell to our auction house.” Senna said after a short silence.
I nodded, happy that he was able to change his mind. I then dumped the contents of my backpack into the center of the room.
Out rolled 15 different bottles of varying colors and mixtures, as well as 3 bottles completely filled up with pills. When Senna saw these items, he could initially identify the estimated worth and cost of the items by his years of experience in the field. However, rather than come into a definite conclusion, he looked at me, asking for an explanation concerning the items.
I calmly and slowly explained each of the items.
“The 15 bottles that are currently filled up with a solution are collections of different elemental plant extracts from Class-8 plant materials. Each bottle contains 1 Liter or 20,000 drops of the extract, coming from different species of class 8 plants. The elements are Water, Ice, Blood, Fire, Lightning, Ash, Air, Cloud, Earth, Metal, Wood, Plant, Poison, Life, and Death.”
“The 3 bottles are 18-star, Immaculate-quality pills. The first pill bottle contains the pill [Foundational Compression]. It can increase the spell foundation of a Master magician by 300 years, and each one can take 2 pills in their life. Take more than that, their magic spells collapse, and their cultivation would be ruined.
The second pill bottle, [Touch of Dahms], allows the user to recover from any injury completely within 3 seconds, effective up to the Divine-9 stage. They can only take a maximum of 3 pills every 7 days. If they attempt to take more than that, their lifespan will permanently be cut by 1 to 1,000,000 years, depending on the severity of their injuries.
The last pill bottle contains [Eitran’s Tears], allowing someone in the Legendary class or higher to burst out an attack surpassing their current class, with a side effect of 10 years of their lifespan permanently cut. This is effective up to the Divine-3 stage, allowing them to demonstrate an attack equal to a Sage-1 being.
They can only take this pill once every 14 days; if they take it again within that period, they’ll die after releasing the attack two classes higher than their current class. For any Divine magicians, if they take this twice, they will release a power equivalent to a Sage-3, then their essence stones will shatter, killing them completely.
Each bottle contains 60 pills, and they have been refined by the same person, Chronicler. Their materials are also of the same class, which is Classes 7 and 8.”
“…” Senna was quiet, processing what I just said about the items I was selling him.
These items could be considered as national assets!
Pills that can improve one’s foundation without the expense of using up their youth, making the foundation of the magicians of a certain government, family, or conglomerate have a higher standard compared to others’ own, nurtured force.
Pills that can recover any injury for any magician at Divine-9 and below. Not only can this attract the attention of the Divine powerhouses still in Eta, but it can also act as a security measure for these cultivators, making them more willing to act if the clan was in danger.
Lastly, a pill that can burst out an attack 1 class higher than one’s current class; this was a great thing to take especially if one is in a chaotic environment in Eteria, or if one is fighting against another clan, conglomerate, or government.
The magicians might not be able to take it twice in a row, but the suicide corps of some families and conglomerates would be quite interested in this feature of double dosing for twice the results.
Luckily, I couldn’t hear his thoughts, or else I would have laughed at the remark about the last set of pills. Truly, the pills I sold him were substandard for me, keeping the 20-star goods to my friends and I. After all, I might benefit future enemies. Right now, I wasn’t sure if this friend of mom can be completely trusted.
I wasn’t even sure if he was willing to sign the non-disclosure binding contract. It would be great if he did, so the deal can push through, but if it didn’t… not too much loss for me, since I already made nearly a trillion Etas.
After a few more seconds of silence, Senna spoke up, asking me some minor details about the products.
I answered as completely as possible without delving too much on the production process. After all, I couldn’t tell him that I have a pocket dimension where I can train and completely have a dilated flow of time, can I?
After a few minutes, Senna came to a decision.
“Hmm, Xander, this sets of pills are quite interesting, and I’m willing to purchase them all upfront if you don’t want to entrust them for auctioning purposes.”
“Yep, Once you purchase it, I don’t care what you want to do with these items. However, I do have a simple condition for the deal to proceed: Please sign this non-disclosure binding contract, uncle Senna.”
After saying this, I pulled out a contract from the bag and handed it to Mr. Novák, who didn’t reject it outright, but read the contents first.
His eyes widened, since he saw that the clauses were quite strict on keeping confidentiality concerning me, the other party, as well as the penalties the contract entailed.
“It’s quite…restrictive, but I have no issues with the contents of the contract since they’re all related to keeping your identity, the seller, a secret. How do I sign this contract?”
“Thank you for understanding. Use your blood essence, uncle Senna, and sign your complete name.” I pointed at the empty part where he was going to sign, in which he quickly signed.
I hurriedly added,
“Please be prepared on what’s going to happen next. I assure you, it is going to be beneficial for you.” As I said this to him while he was giving me a confused look, He then realized the overwhelming power that was gathering around his body and the universe itself.
His face turned blank, and his eyes closed on their own. His cultivation skill was running by itself, while still holding on the contract that was slowly being absorbed into his body. He was undergoing a rapid increase in the unity of his domain to the universe itself.
All I could do was patiently wait for him to finish, just drinking my fruit wine while reading through the local news in Castille. After all, I needed my money, hey!
After an hour of boredom, Mr. Novák finally opened his eyes, his body, and presence more in unity with that of the universe.
He probably ranked up once or twice, maybe? I don’t really care since the contract has been signed anyways. I smiled at the joyful expression plastered in his face.
“Congratulations, uncle Senna. It seems you have broken through.”
“Thank you dear boy for this. No matter, I can keep everything about you a secret, even this transaction.”
I nodded, before casually asking,
“Uncle, how about the price of the goods? What are you willing to offer for them?”
“Ah! Right, yes.” Mr. Novák said, scratching his head.
“Well, for the plant material essences you brought, there’s a total of 300,000 drops, and are from Class 8 plant materials.
For every 10 drops, I’ll price it at 500,000 Camers, or roughly 550,000 Etas. So that’s around 15 billion Camers or 16.5 billion Etas.
For the first set of pills, I’ll purchase all 60 pills for 180 million Camers, or 198 million Etas.
For the second set of pills, I’ll purchase all 60 pills for 510 million Camers, or 561 million Etas.
For the last set of pills, I’ll purchase all 60 pills for 1.44 billion Camers, or 1.584 billion Etas.
That brings a total amount of 17.13 billion Camers or 18.843 billion Etas. After the 15% taxation placed, the total amount would be 16.016 billion Etas.
Do you agree with this price, Xander?” He asked me, and I nodded. I also gave him the bank account number where he would transfer the payment.
It wasn’t much, but then again, the quality of the pills I gave was not that good in the universal setting anyways. It might be a high value for the citizens of Eteria, but for me, they were failed products.
“Alright, Transferring the amount to your bank account… done.”
“Thanks. Nice meeting you, uncle Senna. Until next time.” I said, after checking that the funds had been completely transferred to the bank account. I then had most of it rapidly transferred to different bank accounts, before coming into the real bank account that I had in Eta, all within a couple of seconds. After the transfer was complete, the records of the dummy accounts were wiped and then closed.
I stood up from my seat and gave him a hug, who reciprocated with his own bear hug. Sheesh, I’m not a toy.
Anyways, we talked for a bit and I then left the auction house. Seeing that no one was following me, I instantly headed to an abandoned alleyway and returned to Eta, back to my room. I then headed to relax in the garden for a while.
