To Be or Not To Be A Family - Chapter 94
Yong-Sun drove his car to the Park mansion and got out of his car. He opened the car door and went to the passenger side. He opened the door and helped Ashma out of the car. She was still wearing his jacket. She started moving towards the main door of Park Mansion when she turned back.
“Yong-Sun,” she called him.
Yes,” Yong-Sun was looking at her walk away when she suddenly turned he was concerned. “Did she forget something?” he thought.
“Did you notice something today?” inquired Ashma.
“What?” asked Yong-Sun.
“That man,” said Ashma.
“What man?” Yong-Sun was concerned.
“In the cave,” said Ashma.
“Huh?”
“The man we saw in the hospital who was acting suspiciously?” Ashma tried to make him remember.
“What about him?”
“I think I saw him that day at the beach, then I saw him in India and today in the cave with that family,” educated Ashma.
“Are you sure?” Now, Yong-Sun was worried.
“Yes.”
“Maybe he was there for a family vacation,” said Yong-Sun. He tried to make the atmosphere light.
“Maybe. But it’s a strange coincidence that I saw the same man many times during my visit to Korea,” Ashma was still worried.
“Maybe it was just that, coincidence,” Yong-Sun placed his hand on her shoulder and tried to assure her.
“Maybe you are right,” she discarded all the negative feelings. “Anyway, I enjoyed today. Thank you for everything,” she said with appreciation.
“My pleasure,” Yong-Sun smiled at her sweetly.
“And thank you for giving me the idea,” appreciated Ashma.
“Thank you for agreeing to work with me,” said Yong-Sun.
“Anytime.”
There was a moment of silence and the Yong-Sun asked seriously, “Ashma!”
“Yeah!”
“If I say I love you, what will be your reaction?” asked Yong-Sun.
Ashma moved towards him, looked directly in his eyes and said, “I will say we are not there yet.”
“I knew it,” said Yong-Sun with a smile on his face. It was not clear if that smile was a genuine one.
“Are you?” Ashma tilted her head and asked.
“What?” inquired Yong-Sun.
“In love with me?” Ashma was getting concerned. What if Yong-Sun fell for her? What was she supposed to do then? She liked Yong-Sun but was not at the step of love. She was testing the waters with him. She wanted to know if she could leave her whole world behind for him. Till now, he proved worthy.
“No, I was just teasing,” lied Yong-Sun.
“Okay, then. Goodnight, Yongsuna,” said Ashma with a sweet smile on her face. The word Yongsuna made him smile more.
“Goodnight, Ash,” said Yong-Sun, back. Ashma too smiled at his tease.
She started moving towards the door when Yong-Sun shouted, “Wait!”
She turned around and asked, “What?”
He ran to her, grabbed her by her waist, pushed her against the wall and smashed his lips on hers. Her back rested against the wall hard. His hand was preserving her head. He ran his fingers all over her hair and kept sucking her lips.
She urged for more. She ran her hand all over his shoulder and neck. Her hand moved towards his hair. With one hand she yanked a big lock of his hair and pushed her tongue in his mouth. His tongue met with her tongue in the middle. The swirling, the exploring on the mouths made both of them crazy. The sexual tension was building up. He pressed his fingers on her waist leaving a deep impression on her waist.
She wanted to tear his shirt off and kiss him all over but they were outside. She wanted him to do more than kiss. She wanted him inside her but this was not the right time or right place. Suddenly she realised that before getting his shirt off she would have to get rid of his jacket. Wait! She was wearing his jacket. Oh no! she was about to walk in wearing his jacket.
Slowly they stopped kissing. Both were breathing heavily. They both gulped at the same time and smiled at each other.
“I told you I will kiss you again,” said Yong-Sun grinning from ear to ear.
She didn’t say a word, she just blushed. Her cheeks and ears turned red. She lowered her eyes with shyness.
“Good night, Ash!” whispered Yong-Sun seductively and started walking backwards, away from her.
“Wait!” shouted Ashma.
“What?” Yong-Sun started laughing, hard. “Want me to kiss again?”
Ashma smiled at his tease and said, “Your jacket.”
“Oh right! People will talk.”
“Yeah, people will talk,” repeated Ashma.
She took off his jacket and handed him over. “Oh no!” exclaimed Ashma. She facepalmed.
“What, now?” asked Yong-Sun.
“I told Bong-Cha that I was going to search for fabric and I brought nothing,” said Ashma, worried.
“Tell her you didn’t find a beautiful one like she is,” replied Yong-Sun.
That made Ashma smile. “That’s the right answer. Thank you.” She kissed his cheeks with excitement. “Good night, Yongsuna.”
“Bye.” He touched her cheeks with both hands caressing her kiss.
Yong-Sun didn’t want to leave. Ashma didn’t want him to leave either. Yong-Sun knew that he was in love and wanted to spend his whole life with her. Ashma too was in love with him but at the moment she was not aware. She only knew that she liked him and he was a good, kind man who was a self-made man. Even though his family was rich, he started a business on his own and was one of the wealthiest people in Korea.
Yong-Sun drove away and she rang the bell. In-Ho opened the door and greeted her.
“How was your day?” asked In-Ho.
“It was great, thank you for asking,” said Ashma.
“Why are you late?” asked In-Ho, worriedly.
“Um… sorry,” apologised Ashma.
“She is waiting for you frantically,” whispered In-Ho.
“What? Why?” Ashma knew who was he talking about and why was she waiting for her.
“For her dress,” murmured In-Ho.
“Really!”
“Yes.”
“Oh shit!” exclaimed Ashma.
“What?” asked In-Ho.
“I could not find a fabric for her,” said Ashma.
“Oh, she will go berserk,” said In-Ho, concerned.
“Let me handle her,” assured In-Ho.
“All yours,” bowed In-Ho and gestured with his hands for her to move in.
“Haha,” she laughed. She stopped laughing after realising that she might not be able to control Bong-Cha. “Thank you, maybe.”
She went inside. As soon as Bong-Cha saw her she came running towards her. She looked from head to toe at Ashma.
“What? Why are your hands empty?” shouted Bong-Cha.
“Because I didn’t carry my purse today,” teased Ashma.
“Not that. Where is the fabric?” shouted Bong-Cha.
“Oh, that. I searched all day, all night, I could find a material that I would use to dress up my lovely ladies,” Ashma paraphrased Yong-Sun’s words.
“Aww… you are too sweet,” said Bong-Cha with puppy eyes.
“Just like you,” said Ashma sweetly.
“Huh,” Bong-Cha was confused at her behaviour. She was not angry Ashma, she was sweet Ashma. This Ashma was making her uncomfortable.
“Let her at least breath,” said Eun-Kyung.
“Hungry?” asked In-Ho.
“No, had something to eat but I would not mind a tea,” replied Ashma.
“I will get a tea for you,” said In-Ho.
“Thank you,” said Ashma kindly.
Bong-Cha kept staring at Ashma because of her change in behaviour. She was too happy. In-Ho went into the kitchen to get a cup of tea for her.
“Did you guys have your dinner?” asked Ashma.
“No, we were waiting for you,” replied Baek-Hyeon. He too looked confusingly at Ashma. She really was acting strange.
“Noo, why? Please go and have it,” shouted Ashma.
“At least join us at the table,” said Eun-Kyung.
“Of course, just let me change my dress and I will join you guys,” said Ashma, excited. Jaws of both Bong-Cha and Baek-0Hyeon fell to the ground. They could not believe the chirp they were hearing in her voice. There was a bounce in her walk. She was extremely happy
She went outside for her work. All day she was looking at fabrics and thinking about designs then why was she so happy. What happened outside was all Bong-Cha and Baek-Hyeon could think.
“Oookkkaay,” said both Bong-Cha and Baek-Hyeon in unison. Ashma left the living room and went inside her room. Vidhi followed her.
Ashma was standing in the closet looking for pyjamas when Vidhi closed the door and shouted, “can’t you control your anger?”
“Excuse me!” Ashma could not understand what she was talking about.
“What did you say to him?” shouted Vidhi.
“To whom?” shouted Ashma, back. She still couldn’t comprehend what her mother was talking about.
“Soona, who else?” shouted Vidhi.
“Soona? Soona!!!” screamed Ashma. “For you, he is Park Young-Soo. Since when you started calling him Soona, mumma calls him that, only she can call him that, do you understand?” yelled Ashma.
“That is his nickname,” defended Vidhi.
“No, it isn’t.” a minute ago, she was happy and jolly but her mother was turning her again into the Hulk.
“We are not talking about me, we are talking about you,” said Vidhi.
“I know I said some harsh things to him but don’t you think what you are doing is wrong,” scolded Ashma.
“What am I doing?”
“Striking a friendship with him. You know we have to go back to our life. Stop giving him hope. He can never be your friend or your lover,” said Ashma.
“And Yong-Sun can be yours?” shouted Vidhi.
“Excuse me!”
“Don’t think, I don’t notice the way he looks at you,” said Vidhi.
“He is unmarried, unlike Young-Soo. I can even have sex with him but you having sex with Young-Soo will be a disaster,” shouted Ashma.
“Ash!” yelled Vidhi at the top of her lungs.. Thwack! Vidhi slapped Ashma across her face.
