Transmigrated as the Domesticated Rabbit of the Sick and Frail Villain in the Apocalypse - CH 43.1
Chapter 43.1 – Separatism of Both Forces (1/4)
There was only one supermarket that was still in operation within the entire City Z Base. In them there was a wide range of supplies, but due to the soaring prices following the event of the apocalypse, ordinary people had to use all their points to exchange for food, so there were very few people at the supermarket.
Yin Yiliu walked in front, holding a small shopping basket in her hand, with a few small items in it. Jin Yang, who was following behind, held the larger items.
In addition to the daily necessities, small spoons, and small bowls that a child needed, Jin Yang’s gaze was also drawn to a basket at the corner, which contained some colorful hair ties. He took a look at the little girl’s long hair, before grabbing a handful of hair ties, and throwing them into his shopping basket.
Yin Yiliu’s hair was long, soft, and fluffy. With the grasp of a hand, it looked like a mass of flowing water. Jin Yang had noticed that on multiple occasions her small face was covered by her hair when she ate or ran.
So he thought about tying the little girl’s hair up, and when he took the hair ties, he specifically chose the ones that came with glitter balls the size of half an egg on top, because little girls, in his opinion, liked pink and shiny things.
Yin Yiliu was wearing the small shoes she had scavenged from Carrefour. The red shoes matched her dress very well. When she walked with her short legs and raised her head seriously, she was cute to the point of explosion.
She turned around and noticed that Jin Yang had stuffed his shopping basket with several fancy little dresses at some point. She was a little speechless.
She said in her little girl voice, “I have all of these in my spa-…my place already. Don’t waste your points on them.”
She had already stored enough little girls’ clothes and dresses in her space for herself to wear, plus, Jin Yang’s taste was really something, especially in choosing those rose-colored tutu dresses with big ribbons.
If she were a real little girl, she might have liked them a lot, but Yin Yiliu, whose psychological age would soon reach twenty years old, really couldn’t appreciate them. She shook her head in disgust, wanting Jin Yang to put them back.
Jin Yang thought that the little girl was worried that he didn’t have enough points and thus didn’t have enough purchasing power. He resolved in his heart to hunt more mutated animals in the future. For the sake of the child’s health and nutrition, more nutritional food was essential.
He looked around and tossed two cans of goat milk powder into his shopping basket. When Yin Yiliu noticed his actions, she grabbed the basket with her short hands, dug them out, and placed them back on the shelf.
The little girl said with a serious expression, “I don’t need any of these things, so don’t waste your points, okay~”
Jin Yang fell silent. If he had had a mobile phone and enough social skills at this moment, he would definitely search on the web at a loss: what should I do if my child is overly obedient and sensible?
They returned home after they finished shopping. When they arrived at the front door, they found that the lights were turned on. The Zhao siblings and the little wolf pup must have been back.
Yin Yiliu was a little nervous. She couldn’t help stop herself from grabbing Jin Yang’s fingers, raising her head to look at him, and asking, “What should I do? What should I say if Sister Zhao asks?”
Jin Yang stroked her soft hair. “I’ll explain.”
He extended his hand to open the door. When the two people and one animal in the house heard the sounds at the front door, Zhao Sihui stood up from the sofa and came over to take the plastic bags from his hands.
As she got closer, she noticed a short little munchkin standing beside Jin Yang, dressed in a red jacket skirt and holding two of Jin Yang’s fingers, her round eyes staring back at her.
Stunned, she looked at the little girl, then at Jin Yang. “This is?”
Big Bro Jin wouldn’t have abducted someone else’s child, would he? They had only been gone for a day, so why was there a little girl popping out of nowhere? The point was, this little child was way too adorable!
“What’s wrong, sis?”
Zhao Qiyang was lying on the sofa at the moment, baring his teeth from the pain of the wound on his back. When he heard his sister’s question at the door, he craned his neck and asked.
He’d lost a lot of blood and had a lot of flesh cut off on his back. After waking up, he had been a little lightheaded due to the excessive blood loss, but thanks to the powerful repair ability of an evolved person, he had quickly regained consciousness, and after the anesthetic effect had worn off, he was in so much pain that he couldn’t even close his eyes.
According to his sister, his back was now like a road pitted with holes, which made him very angry.
Zhao Sihui ignored her younger brother. After she determined that Zhao Qiyang’s condition had stabilized and that his wound would heal very soon as long as he was careful not to cause it to be infected, the image of the gentle and caring older sister had immediately gone offline, replaced by sneers and sarcasm.
She lowered her voice, squatted down, and let Yin Yiliu into the house. When she saw the little girl smiling sweetly at her with her cute doe eyes, she felt as if she had been hit with a hundred points attack, and pink bubbles bubbled in her heart.
Where the hell did Jin Yang abduct this child from? She was such a cute and good little girl!
