Transmigrated as the Domesticated Rabbit of the Sick and Frail Villain in the Apocalypse - CH 50.1
Chapter 50.1 – Domineering Little Bunny (1/2)
That night, after Zuo Tai received the message from the Morning Sun team, he got out of his bed cursing, while his wife beside him grumbled sleepily, making his already irritable mood sink to the verge of fury.
He contacted his subordinates and instructed them to carry out the two late-night intruders. The men hastily bandaged them without properly treating their wounds and threw them back into the industrial shed where the ordinary people lived.
“Don’t worry,” Zuo Tai reassured them. “We will replace the door’s lock tomorrow at the latest.”
Jin Yang didn’t make an issue of the incident. He nodded to indicate that he understood, which soothed Zuo Tai’s taunt nerves.
After he had dealt with the matter, the night had passed. A faint bluish-white color emerged in the sky, and it was almost dawn.
Kou Binbai, who had gone to deal with the three burglars, rushed back and whispered in Zuo Tai’s ear, “How should we handle the matter of the three of them? The family of the person with the evolved sense of smell has been making trouble and demanding compensation.”
Zuo Tai sneered, “I’m not holding them accountable, but they’re still making a fuss. Don’t give them medicine or food. I’ll see how long they can make trouble!”
The next morning, Yin Yiliu rolled on the soft bed and yawned lazily.
She slowly propped herself up, the rabbit ears on her head out of place, one hanging down beside her face, the other standing upright, and her hair loose and scattered behind her head.
Only one of her pink slippers was left under the bed, and the other was kicked somewhere when she went to bed last night. She squatted down and looked under the small bed, only to see the furry pink edge of her other slipper.
She tried to reach it with her short little hands, but she couldn’t, so she knelt on the ground with her delicate knees, getting closer and trying again.
But before she could get down, a large hand reached out from behind her, grabbing her waist and pulling her back.
Yin Yiliu felt that she was easily lifted up and placed on the bed behind her. She turned around to take a look, and her eyes lit up.
Jin Yang had only just awoken. When he saw the little girl arched into a ball and kneeling beside the bed, he reached forward and picked her up.
“What’s going on?”
His body was slightly propped up, and the shirt on his chest drooped even more. When Yin Yiliu turned around, she caught sight of his firm and smooth honey-colored chest, and her mouth almost watered.
Plus the man’s low and raspy voice when he woke up in the morning, like a walking subwoofer, he was constantly exuding his goddamn charm.
Yin Yiliu coughed and averted her gaze. She swung her little feet, one with a pink slipper on and the other with pale, wiggling toes.
Jin Yang understood what she was looking for and noticed that the little girl’s delicate knees were slightly red. He frowned, covered her knees with his big hands, and gently rubbed them with the warmth of his palms.
“Does it hurt?”
Yin Yiliu shook her head. “I’m not made of clay. How could I be so fragile.”
What she didn’t know was in Jin Yang’s heart, she was more fragile than clay and would break with a single touch.
The little girl was in a hurry to put on her shoes and go out. Jin Yang scratched his head with slightly messy hair and stood up.
He used to have a simple and sharp buzzcut, but he hadn’t had his hair trimmed since the apocalypse, so it was now a little longer in the front and back, neutralizing his always cold temperament and adding softness and beauty to his face.
He stepped barefoot on the ground, and with a slight flex of his forearm muscles, he lifted one side of the pink bed with one hand, bent over, and fished out the little slipper that had been kicked under the bed.
Yin Yiliu sat on the bed, staring blankly at him. Could her Big Golden Thigh stop being such good boyfriend material? Let alone her, she doubted that any girl could stand it.
A strand of hair curled up on Jin Yang’s head after he scratched his head, looking very cute. After firmly lowering the small bed back down, he turned around and put the small slipper onto Yin Yiliu’s feet.
It was as if she were hypnotized, Yin Yiliu reached out her small hand and flicked the little cowlick on Jin Yang’s head. The strand of hair fell down and stood back up. She discovered a new game to play with.
Jin Yang was a little speechless. He scratched his hair casually. “Do you want to go wash up?”
“Mmm, yeah.” Yin Yiliu nodded, jumped off the bed, and walked outside in her little slippers.
Although their residence had changed, their usual hair styling routine remained. Jin Yang had a slightly thin multi-colored rubber band on his hand, which was tightly wrapped on his wrist.
He skillfully formed a fluffy ball on Yin Yiliu’s little head. Today, he combed the hair of the little girl with rabbit ears in a bun.
Yin Yiliu had wondered about this before. When Jin Yang was just getting started, he couldn’t even tie a ponytail properly. How did he made such rapid progress and be able to do a new hairstyle every few days?
Later, she saw a blue book among the pile of books that Jin Yang had exchanged from the Points Hall. On the outer cover was a cartoon mother braiding her cartoon daughter’s hair. She opened it, and the inner cover read: “Thirty Hairstyles Every Novice Mom Must Learn.”
Yin Yiliu: …
She swayed her head as she brushed her teeth and looked at Jin Yang in the mirror.
The man’s fingers were long and slender, with well-defined knuckles, interspersing between her hair like an art.
His slightly messy hair gradually fell on his forehead as he blew dry her hair, and at a glance, he looked like a young man walking out of an anime, so handsome that it was unrealistic.
She let her mind wander beyond the nine heavens, and when she came back to her senses, the back of her hand was covered in bubbles, and she quickly rinsed her mouth, puffing her cheeks and gurgling.
