Transmigrated as the Domesticated Rabbit of the Sick and Frail Villain in the Apocalypse - CH 50.2
Chapter 50.2 – Domineering Little Bunny (2/2)
Zhao Sihui didn’t prepare breakfast as usual. She took some dusty vacuum-packaged bread from the cupboard and placed it on the table.
“Only this is left, but it’s still two days away from the expiration date. It’s still edible.”
River Glory Base was really poor. Zuo Tai had made no secret of the fact that the resources in the base were nearly depleted, he even told them that they were out of food.
When this happened, it meant it was time for Yin Yiliu to make an appearance.
She took a bag of vacuum-packed sausages from her space, along with milk that was scavenged from the supermarket. Zhao Sihui sliced the bread and made it into sandwiches.
They all had a fairly good breakfast except for the black wolf.
This place didn’t have fresh food supplies like City Z Base did. Forget about meat; there wasn’t even much rice and noodles. Yin Yiliu opened a new pack of sausages and served it with bread as breakfast for the wolf.
The wolf swallowed the food in three or two bites, and the food was gone before it could taste it, leaving it to pitifully watch the others eating with gusto at the dining table.
They were nearly done with their breakfast when the communicator in Jin Yang’s arms vibrated. He wiped the corner of his mouth and took a look, then said to his teammates, “Get ready to go out.”
Yin Yiliu was gulping down milk, and she set the cup down when she heard Jin Yang’s words. There was a circle of milk stain around her pink lips, which Jin Yang wiped off with his thumb.
“Do we have a mission now?” she asked softly.
“It’s not a mission.” Jin Yang shook his head. “The people from City B have arrived.”
Whether it was before or after the apocalypse, City B was the military and political center of the entire country. It possessed the most advanced scientific research technology as well as the most abundant firearm supplies. It was not easy to gain power there.
They packed up and rushed to their destination.
Yin Yiliu didn’t turn into a rabbit. Even though her legs were short when she was in human form, she was not slow at all when she walked.
Most hybrid evolved people were fast and powerful when they used their abilities, but after returning to their original form, they were not much stronger than ordinary people. Only Yin Yiliu was an outlier.
Her speed was remarkable in human form. She hid her extremely sharp and retractable nails in her fair and chubby fingers, and her attack power was no weaker than that of those high-level evolved people.
Jin Yang and the others happened to arrive just as the helicopter from City B was about to land. As Yin Yiliu looked up from below, she could hear the sound of the propeller rotating.
Compared with the small helicopter from City Z Base, this one was more imposing, both in size and design.
The wind blew Zhao Qiyang’s hair around, and he stroked it while clicking his tongue in awe.
Just as the helicopter was descending, the door on the side opened, and a thick rope was thrown from above and hit the ground.
Although it was far away from Yin Yiliu, Jin Yang subconsciously shielded the little girl.
“What is the meaning of this?”
In the next second, a person leaned half of his body out of the helicopter, grabbed the rope, jumped, and slid down the rope.
“Oh damn that’s wild! How cool!” Zhao Qiyang exclaimed, and his sister rolled her eyes at him.
After the first person landed, two young men followed closely behind, shouting and sliding down the rope, while the rest of them waited until the helicopter landed steadily before walking out calmly.
Zuo Tai put on his professional righteous smile once again and went to greet them. He made a gesture to shake hands with the first man who slipped down the rope, but the young man avoided him and gave him a sidelong glance before walking forward.
The scene suddenly became a little awkward. The smile on Zuo Tai’s face froze, and the fist hanging by his side clenched.
The man chewed gum in his mouth, looked at the full view of River Glory Base with disdain and impatience on his face, and following a contemptuous snicker, he spat the chewing gum in his mouth to the ground.
He was well-equipped, wearing a bulletproof suit over a khaki-colored hiking clothes, with shiny leather boots that made loud clicking noises when he walked.
He also noticed the Morning Sun team in front of him. His eyes lingered on the black wolf for two seconds before he saw Yin Yiliu standing next to Jin Yang.
The young man’s face showed a roguish smile. He whistled at Yin Yiliu, raised his eyebrow, and asked, “What is this, costume seduction?”
Jin Yang’s expressionless face suddenly became a little colder, and his gaze slowly moved to the smiling young man.
Yin Yiliu completely ignored him. The smile on her face remained unaffected as she played with the fingers of the man beside her.
The young man’s smile faded a little, and he shrugged his nose, “How rude. People in rural places don’t even have basic manners.”
At this time, a touch of gold appeared in Jin Yang’s eyes. Those who were familiar with him knew that he was on the brink of erupting in rage, and Yin Yiliu could feel his grasp on her hand tightening.
Her smile faded, and she stared innocently at the young man in front of her.
“Are you saying I have no manners?”
Jin Yang was stunned, as were the Zhao siblings behind him.
The little fella had never spoken outside, instead following Jin Yang’s side quietly all the time. This was the first time she had spoken in front of other people.
The young man was also surprised. Before he could say anything, the smiling bunny-eared girl spoke again. Her voice was sweet and soft, and she had a cute way of ending her sentences.
However, the words that came out of such a custard-filled steamed bun were anything but soft.
“My manners are only for people, not for things that keep barking.”
She said it with a smile, her small body erect and imposing.
Jin Yang gave a low chuckle behind her, instantly breaking Yin Yiliu’s accumulated arrogance, and her aura of 1.8 meters immediately shrank back to less than one meter.
She wrinkled her nose, squeezed Jin Yang’s hand, and glared at him.
“”
Her own teammate pulled the rug out from under her feet!
But she continued to smile sweetly and nod politely to the young man who hadn’t reacted yet, but her gaze was a little fierce.
Although she was happy to be a decorative item hanging onto her Big Golden Thigh, it didn’t mean that she didn’t have a temper.
Her identity outside was Jin Yang’s ‘daughter’, and saying that she had no manners was tantamount to disparaging Jin Yang.
When others bullied her, she might feel aggrieved, throw herself into her Big Golden Thigh’s arms, and whimper softly, but if someone said something bad about her Big Golden Thigh, she would bite off flesh of the person’s body!
