Transmigrated Enhancement Specialists - Chapter 11
Though Jiang Tian performed enough meritorious deeds to qualify for a position that was higher than an Outer Clan Disciple. His nonexistent cultivation would become a problem if he became an inner Disciple since competition at that rank was harsh and unforgiving.
Jiang Tian also supported their decision since it would be better for him to temporarily settle down and start his cultivation and hide from the eyes of the common populace.
Every Outer Sect Disciple in the Xia Clan didn’t have their own residences. Instead, they were required to build their own house by cutting down trees from the nearby forest. However, everything wasn’t so simple for the plot of land that the Xia Clan bestowed for the Outer Sect Disciples wasn’t enough to cover them all.
Which means, there were Outer Sect Disciples that reluctantly subordinated themselves towards those with greater power while those stubborn ones remained homeless, hoping for someone to ascend to the Inner Disciples rank, creating a spot of land that they could contest.
Xia Bingyue guided Jiang Tian with ‘kind’ intentions and gave him the residence of the newly-ascended disciple. This created a sensation among the Outer Sect Disciple since that land was valuable and highly-contested.
They didn’t dare to provoke Xia Bingyue but they weren’t afraid of the young man that she brought with her. Unfortunately, for them, that young man never went out of his residence, and they could only patiently wait outside.
That was until, a top-ranked disciple fancied Jiang Tian’s residence and walked up to his door, shouting these words.
“Bastard, how dare you steal the residence that I painstakingly built for several years, come out here and face your grandpa!”
Jiang Tian knitted his eyebrows and thought about how scheming that little girl, Xia Bingyue could be. To think that she would voluntarily cause some trouble for him just so she could get back at him because of that event several days ago.
“Well, at the least, I can test how sturdy the cultivators in this world…” Jiang Tian lifted a small smile on his face, after achieving the first stage of the Ghost Emperor Scripture. HIs hands itched for a fight.
The disciples that heard the thunderous roar all gathered and saw Xia Hanzo with his arms crossed. His head lifted in an arrogant manner along with a condescending smile on his face.
“Damn, so it’s Hanzo that’s here to stir some trouble?”
“That’s perfect, It’s been so long since we saw his Flash Draw, will we able to watch a good show today?”
Murmurs echoed out and the young man clad in the blue robes of the Xia Clan named Xia Hanzo knocked at the door once again, “Are you fucking deaf? Your grandpa is here to visit you for a talk, stop being so unfilial and come out!”
Upon seeing no movements from the residence, sneering voices rang out and soon flooded the surroundings. Xia Hanzo’s condescending smile intensified and his ego was satisfied.
This was one of the reasons why Xia Hanzo stayed in the Outer Sect Disciples Region despite the fact that his cultivation was enough for ascension, he wanted to crush these little worms beneath his feet, only when he saw them pleading would be satisfied.
And Jiang Tian, a newcomer was a perfect target for that.
Little did Xia Hanzo knew that Jiang Tian was merely gathering his power behind the wooden door. Condensed between Jiang Tian’s palm was an undetectable energy that emanated an ominous jet-black light. Smirking, Jiang Tian threw it at the door as the black light transformed into a beam that decimated the door and struck Xia Hanzo squarely on his chest.
“Guaaah!”
His figure flew like a kite that lost its strings and before rolling on the ground and striking a tree. A blood arrow spat from his mouth and his eyes rolled over as his consciousness dissipated. A small black orb could be seen on his chest, eating at his pristine robes, dissolving it into liquid.
All chins fell to the ground and the eyes of the spectators widened in shock. They all stared at Jiang Tian’s figure whose expression remained indifferent as he spat these cold swords, “Those that want to follow his example can just knock on my doors. I will gladly send you flying back to your house.”
He turned around and activated his residence’s regeneration properties as wooden door manifested and replaced the broken one.
Everything happened too fast, Xia Hanzo didn’t even have the opportunity to display his prized technique, Flash Draw before he was literally sent flying.
Those who witnessed Jiang Tian’s coldness engraved his figure inside their minds as they all simultaneously thought that they should never provoke the former. However, those who clearly analyzed the attack knew that Jiang Tian merely won by a fluke and by using a sneak attack.
But since everything was fair and battle, they could only blame Xia Hanzo’s stupidity. After all, no one told him that he should stand near the fragile wooden door. In other words, he reaped what he sowed.
