Trapped In Time - Chapter 73
The second dome was bigger and accommodated more machines. The Orbs who were accompanying them remained silent observers.
The students observed that these machines were controlling a specific area of the satellite. The Magical World had been divided into 4 districts. Hence, for every aspect, there were four machines to control the works. There were four machines to control the gravity, the main machine in the first dome would be shifted here as it controlled these four machines which controlled the four districts.
Similarly, there were four machines to control the supply of oxygen and carbon dioxide, in all the four districts, the main machine in the first dome would be shifted here as it controlled these four machines.
There were four machines to control water in all the four districts of the satellite for drinking etc and the main machine in the first dome would be shifted here as it controlled these four machines.
There were four machines to control the seeking permission aspect of all things on the satellite by means of implanted chips which needed to be monitored in all the four districts. The main machine in the first dome would be shifted here as it controlled these four machines.
There were four machines to control soil and its content including the nitrogen-fixing bacteria and earthworms ants, etc. The main machine in the first dome would be shifted here as it controlled these four machines.
There were four machines to monitor the population to a sustainable level, in all the four districts of the satellite, that they all develop at the required rate and do not overdevelop or overpopulate. The main machine in the first dome would be shifted here as it controlled these four machines.
The machines that fascinated the children the most here, were the ones which were displaying the maps. One of them was displaying the map of the rock curtain behind the waterfall through which they had walked into this World. The other 3 machines would also be managing some sort of portals but their maps could not be read as the students had not visited those districts.
They wanted clarification about this and asked Aarvin and Inder. Inder replied that there were other portals but they had not been used as long as he could remember. So, practically everyone had forgotten about these portals but the scientists would explain where they all opened.
He was about to give more details when suddenly there was a lot of commotion in the tunnels and men were running towards the first dome. Aarvin and Inder were also excited and Inder said, ” We need to go to the first dome to see the descent of the spaceships and see them being guided to the landing/ spaceship docking area. Please follow me, everyone.”
Saying this, Inder led all of them back to the first dome and at the same time, he was ensuring that all 12 of them i.e. Aarvin, Sherpa and the 10 children were ushered into the first dome. Naturally, the Orbs also followed.
They all waited in excitement and anticipation. This Magical World acknowledged and accepted the existence of aliens but their own world refused to even acknowledge that there was any life in this universe except that which existed on Earth.
The machine that had a communication system showed on the computer screen some sort of beings sitting at the helm like they were shown at the deck in ‘Starship Enterprise’. This machine helped in catching the frequency being used by the alien ships and communicated with them. No matter what the language was, it got translated to the language of the Magical World.
The Alien ship was a transport ship and wanted guided entry into the Magical World. They were seeking permission. The beings looked like menacing crocodiles but they seemed to walk erect, swaying side to side as they moved their feet. Their feet seemed small and the hands were even smaller.
They said they came in peace to exchange supplies. Entry was granted and they were asked to wait.
The machine that controlled the opening and closing of the aperture was now in operation and everyone saw the aperture open slowly to become quite huge to let the spaceship through.
The Aliens were asked to come through the aperture slowly and a Pilot ship of the Magical World was being sent to bring them in by guiding them along the required pathway.
Children were surprised as they did not know that the Magical World had their own spaceships too. If they had pilot ships then they would have the entire fleet of scout ships, cargo ships, transport ships fighter ships etc.
The machine that guided the spaceship through the aperture to the landing site for the spaceships, was now turned on. The system here was something akin to that which was available with the pilots of planes as they communicated with the control tower of the airport.
The ‘Crocodile Race’, as the Aliens were called, were guided by the system and the pilot ship to their docking area. It took about 20 minutes from the spaceship’s entry to its landing.
Upon landing the CCTV was showing some big shots of the Magical World receiving the people of the Crocodile Race.
There were about 4 Aliens. They were quite tall and very slow in movement. They looked just like the crocodiles on Earth. But on Earth, the crocodiles were found more in the water floating like logs or on the riverside basking in the sun, wherever they were seen, they walked on all fours.
But here, the Aliens who looked like crocodiles were called the ‘Crocodile Race’ and they walked erect. They balanced their weight on their two back legs with the additional support of their tail. Their huge tail was a nuisance as it swished left and right and Tina felt that it would cause a lot of accidents for the Aliens without any fault of theirs. She felt sorry for the Aliens.
Tina was a sensitive girl and realized that the Crocodile Race was what the aliens were called but they were not crocodiles. She felt the crocodile skin was actually a spacesuit. This she needed to verify from the Aliens.
