Trope World - Volume 1 Chapter 46 Wrath
Wrath POV
“Everything was taken, my birthright, my home, and my destiny. It was gone before I was born.” The words trickled from my lips as my body moved.
Hundreds of thousands of skeletons were crushed beneath my feet. Their bones separated in piles. I could do that much with qi. Mana was locked from me while One Against All was active. It didn’t matter. I punched the air and in the distance a skeleton exploded. The foot soldiers weren’t a threat to me, and the high-ranking officers wanted to wear me down before we fought. It’s what I would do with these number. Off far away from my tantrum, the mage core worked on a grand summoning dao. A Dao of space, time, and fire. It was something beautiful. I punched the air again shattering the barricades blocking my line of sight.
With mana locked from me everything became simple. I punched and kicked to get what I wanted. No weapon could stand up to my strength. Swords shattered in my hand, hammer fell apart at the head, and bow strings snapped.
I’d killed hundreds of thousands and barely made a dent in the shear number of skeletons. More companies were already heading towards me. The stacks of bones did nothing to hurt their morale.
I could stop the summoning break in and do something, but I didn’t. I wanted to see what was summoned, I wanted a fight.
An armored company of elite skeletons approached me in a shield wall. This was clearly built to kill the weaker centaurs with their pike formation. Their shields locked into place protecting above and around them. I took a step and the ground split down the middle. Half of them fell into the fissure while the others tried to block the hole in their formation.
I flew through the fissure and flew up through their ranks. I grabbed one and used it as a club to smash the rest. One after the other, I crushed them. Their armor tore before my strikes and their bones shattered. My qi magnified my physical strength to unimaginable levels.
In the distance something happened. A skeleton glowed red and its spoke. Its voice traveling over the territory.
“You are human, my creator is human, but your fighting us. I’ve calculated that this creature has enough power to deal with you for the resources it took to summon it. You’ve already supplied the resources it requires to enter this world. Behold the might of a Sovereign fire elemental.” The voice said and the light left the skeleton mage. A blinding light appeared above the prairie. Bones from all around the battlefield including those I separated into piles flew up to the light.
Fire qi filled the air in the greatest amount I’d ever felt. Pain lanced through my head and a vision took over.
“I screamed as my soul burned. I screamed because I thought my revenge would never come to be. I screamed and fell into darkness. I screamed and looked up at the light of heaven and knew that I was alone. I was One Against All.” My whispering was ignored as more fire qi flowed into my Dao.

I was beginning to remember how I arrived here. Well I could make an educated guess. I was certain my original knew was that why he unleashed me. I set my eyes on the demon above me. It was just like I was before the flames cooled and the Endless Peak arose. Everything was coming together.
Hooks attached to chains made of flaming black bone ripped through my chest before wrapping me up. My eyes met the creature I knew to be a demon. His skin was made of blackened bone fragments. Without a body to properly possess he wouldn’t be in this world for very long.
I flexed and the chains didn’t shatter. He must have been near my level. The man grinned his mouth was filled with even human teeth.
“Even with my hooks in you, you resist.” His voice sounded like he smoked a million packs a day. His body was already burning itself apart and the chains wouldn’t hold up much longer.
“Let me in and I’ll turn my power against your enemies.” He said. I opened my mouth and laughed. Before calming down. I blinked and felt cool.
“You can’t kill me before your time runs out. My body is just too good. I don’t have any magic and your chains can barely hold me. You’ll run out of time here and then I’ll get back to what I was doing before.” The flames around the chains heated up to unprecedented levels. I struggled against the chains as they burned my skin. More fire qi filled the air as we fought.
Then one of the links broke. My hand was free, and I lurched forward. I grabbed ahold of one of his horns and tugged it down for a headbutt. My head moved faster, and it was far sturdier than this demon. I didn’t know how the sovereign rank worked in an elemental plan or in this monster’s case hell.
I continued to pound its head with my own until the monster’s giant skull cracked. The creature fell to a knee and I gained another free hand. It raised an arm to try and stop me, but a blow to its shoulder shattered the muscles connecting it.
“Your body is powerful but is your spirit incorruptible.” The demon blinded me with a flash of light. The chains crumbled away as its flames smashed into me. I felt something inky and black slide down my throat.
I saw a vivid image of Od getting f.u.c.k.i.e.d by centaur stallion. Her face is flush and she’s loving it. My fist lashed out and shattered a nearby hill. The landscape tore itself open as a crater formed. The vision snapped back into place replacing reality. The centaur was at the demon stage with a BP much higher than mine. Every thrust made Od gasp and I couldn’t look away. The demon made me watch. I shouted at the heavens and pounded the ground with my fists.
“Let me in, I can make you strong enough to.”
“Save it, I’ve heard of this song and dance before. Spirit is this something that is or something that will be can the future be changed.” The demon froze at my clear voice. “I’ve thought about this very outcome. I don’t sleep anymore because this fear replays itself. Talk about low hanging fruit.”
“You’re right though, I need your power. So, step right this way.” A door unlocked itself.
“You fool, now I can take control of your body and burn this world to ash.” The demon shouted as it stepped through the metaphysical door to my soul.
