Two Contracts – My Lover Is A CEO - Chapter 297
Wu Lina became quiet. Up until now she dis not want to reveal any information to him, as she didn’t want to stress him. But she knew that he would eventually ask about the details.
“Yang Xinyu, it is not important. What is important is that you are alive and with me. Let’s not go there. It was a tough time we have managed to come out from. Please, let’s only focus on our future.”
Wu Lina was afraid that he would use his energy in eliminating Yang Fangxu and her mother. Even though she hated them from the core of her heart, she loved Yang Xinyu more and didn’t want him to think of those two. Besides Wang Lei had been taken care of by her father-in-law.
“Wu Lina, if you will not tell me, I will come to know ultimately, and when I will you cannot imagine what I will do,” said Yang Xinyu in a cold voice.
Wu Lina gulped. She lowered her head as Yang Xinyu waited for her answer. She wanted to avoid him but she could feel his sharp gaze boring into her. She looked up and answered in a low tone, “Wang Lei…”
Yang Xinyu’s expressions darkened. The atmosphere of the room suddenly dropped as his eyes became arctic. He sighed and then looked at Wu Lina. She was looking like a lamb that had been injured, as she fidgeted with her fingers in her lap.
He said, “Come here.”
Wu Lina climbed the bed and sat beside him. He circled his arms around her and kissed her on her head. He lifted her head with his hand and said, “Don’t worry, I won’t bother you with this anymore. Just think about our kids now.”
For Yang Xinyu, this near-death experience was such a shock that he was forced to think and understand that God had indeed given him a second chance to live with his wife and kids, and now he will make sure that no one dares to touch anyone of them, no one dares to harm as much as a hair of what he possessed.
He took his hands on her belly and smiled, “Kiddos! I am back. Have so much to talk to you! I hope you are troubling your mom every now and then.”
And just then one of them kicked from inside. Yang Xinyu laughed heartily. It was such a blissful moment.
He was discharged from the hospital after two weeks. The doctors had to make sure that his wound healed fast with any infection. There was only the dressing left on his body. The doctors had advised him to keep his hand in a sling to support the shoulder in case it pained. They also said that he may experience pain but that is natural. They advised him to keep exercising to strengthen the muscles in that area. A physiotherapist was hired for him who had to come everyday to help him with exercises.
In the next week, Wu Lina took special care of Yang Xinyu’s food and medicine regime. She tirelessly attended him. All her laziness and sleep had been tossed out of the window. She would get up in the night even if Yang Xinyu would wince softly in pain and keep stroking or massaging the area where it pained.

Her mother had gone to for a walk to the beach in the morning and hadn’t returned. It had been more than two hours. She was beginning to get worried because ever since her mother told her about her uncle, she could feel that it would become worse.
That day the locals of the Tinharre Island found a body that was washed out of the ocean. Its throat was sliced and it was of the old woman who had recently shifted. The locals carried the body to her home to her daughter.
Yang Fangxu was sitting in the portico and staring in the vast ocean ahead when she saw that some locals were carrying a woman towards her house. She stood up from her chair and gazed at them. All of a sudden she let out a shrill shriek and ran towards them. Her mother had been killed. The locals kept her mother’s body on the portico as she shook her vigorously. “Mother, who did this to you? Mother?” As she did that she noticed that something was engraved with knife on her hand. She picked the hand to read it.
“Traitors will meet such fate. Wait for me. YX”
Yang Fangxu gasped and started shivering, as she remembered that the murder occurred after two weeks of the shooting incident of Yang Xinyu.
She ran inside her house and closed the door. Would he come after her? Would she meet the same fate as her mother did?
The locals found this murder very strange. There was no evidence as to who could have killed her. No one knew them so well as they were pretty new and language was a huge issue with them.
Stranger was the fact that her daughter didn’t even join her last rites. She had bolted all her door and windows from inside.
