Uchiha Sasuke: Through The Multiverse - Chapter 23
* * * * *
Naruto The Last~
Set shortly before the events of Volume 1~
A fissure distorted through the atmosphere and a lone figure in a black cape stepped out, carrying a scroll in his hand.
The figure opened up the scroll.
Otsutsuki Toneri…
It seems he is a descendant of Otsutsuki Hamura, the ancestor of the Hyuga clan.
The Celestial Decree of Hamura… ….Tenseigan…
The Otsutsuki clan always gives trouble…
As the figure threaded across the ground, a middle aged man with featureless white eyes collapsed in front.
This guy is–
The man looked up and a single word escaped from his mouth–
“… …Hinata… …”
The figure walked over to the man and a flaming meteorite flew overhead, revealing the face.
Sasuke looked up at the moon.
It has started huh–
However, Sasuke was not worried, as he knew who was taking on Toneri.
Naruto, I will protect Konoha on your behalf while you are not here–
So–
– – – – –
“At Six o’clock, it’s a huge one!”
Kakashi crossed his arms as he gave out an order.
“Everyone!”
“Kakuyoko No Jin : Crane Wing Formation!”
ROGER!
A group of Shinobi charged towards the meteorite in a specific formation while releasing a huge amount of chakra.
“The Sixth Gate of Joy!”
SMASH!
“Damn it!”
Only half of the meteorite was obliterated and it’s trajectory was free falling towards Konoha at a very fast rate.
DonDonDon. The falling meteorite was raining down with reverberating sounds as if crushing the air resistance.
Kakashi could only stare as the meteorite approached.
It was at that moment–
Chidori!
Sparks of lightning surrounded the meteorite and in an instant, the largely bisected meteorite scattered apart in a huge explosion.
“You’re…” Before Kakashi could complete his sentence–
“If he’s not around, the only one who can protect the village…”
“…is me.”
And he vanished.
Sasuke…
“Hokage-sama!”
Kakashi turned around.
“Hiashi-san!”
– – – – –
Sasuke looked up at the moon again.
That is…
That Shinobi letter means…
Mission accomplished.
“Hmph–”
“Usuratonkachi.”
Sasuke activated the Rinnegan again.
The Otsutuki clan is a constant threat…
I have to find the missing clues left behind by Kaguya as soon as possible.
And–
Sasuke jumped through the portal.
Naruto’s Wedding~
Sasuke had just completed a mission and after finding a tea shop nearby, he decided to stop awhile for a break.
“Here’s your Tea and Dango, sir.” An old lady laid out a pot of hot tea and a plate of Dango sticks in front of Sasuke.
“Thanks.”
Just as Sasuke proceeded to pop one of the Dango’s in his mouth, from behind him–
“Hey hey, have you heard about the big event?”
“What event?”
Sasuke turned around.
There were two men conversing behind him.
Konoha Shinobi huh…
One of the man spoke, “You know, that event. The one between Naruto and the Hyuga heiress.”
“Oh, you mean Naruto’s wedding.” The other shinobi nodded his head.
“You know about the mission right given by Lord Sixth, right?”
“Yeah, we have to prepare a congratulatory gift for the wedding.”
Sasuke turned back.
After finishing his food, Sasuke placed the money on the table and left the tea shop.
Naruto and Hinata’s wedding huh…
Sasuke turned his head in the direction towards Konoha.
Should I buy something–?
Vases and sharp objects symbolizes a broken relationship and is bad luck so those are out…
Sasuke continued further down and soon, he came across a ramen shop.
That’s right–
Naruto loves Ichiraku ramen.
Maybe I should buy him a large supply of cup ramen?
Sasuke was contemplating as he stood outside the shop.
However, he soon decided against it. It really wasn’t his style.
Sasuke journeyed down even further and as he was heading through a forest–
I think I will just stick with this–
“Was Shino always this good with kids?”
“Seems he want’s to be a teacher in the future.”
“What are you smiling about?”
“Who said I was smiling?”
“Whatever…men go to wedding receptions to meet the friends of the bride, don’t they.”
“That’s not it. What a drag. Let’s go over there.”
“When did they hook up?”
“Who are you talking about?”
“Shikamaru and Temari…”
“Hmm…anyway, everyone probably thinks about us the same way.”
As Sakura looked up, a black silhouette swooped down.
A hawk.
Attached to it’s leg was a piece of paper.
Sakura took out the paper and read it’s content.
On the note, was a single word–
– – – – –
Congratulations.
