Uchiha’s God of Muscle - Chapter 245
The list Tekka brought was full of names, densely packed with over a hundred Iwagakure ninjas, including several Jonin and important figures from various departments of Iwagakure.
“What does this mean?” Bung asked with a grim expression, gritting his teeth, although he had already guessed the answer.
As expected, Tekka replied with a blank expression, “You, as the Iwagakure envoy stationed in Konoha, should know very well what these people have done.”
Bung did indeed know.
The people on the list were all Iwa ninjas who had committed crimes in Konoha over the past year. Under the protection of Iwagakure, they had faced no punishment until now, with the Uchiha clan stepping in.
“But according to the treaty between Iwagakure and Konoha, our people enjoy extraterritorial rights while in Konoha…” Bung argued, trying to resist and not back down.
Hearing this, Tekka sneered, “Danzo, who signed those treaties with you, has been ousted and is currently awaiting trial in Konoha’s Anbu prison. If I’m not mistaken, you’re asking us Uchiha to honor the same worthless agreements Danzo made with the Four Great Ninja Villages, right?”
Cold sweat broke out on Bung’s forehead, and he quickly denied, “That’s not what I meant…”
At this moment, Chishuki, who was growing impatient, activated her Mangekyo Sharingan, its six-bladed windmill pattern appearing in her eyes. She complained to Tekka, “Why waste so many words? Let’s just do it.”
With that, she drew her sword with a metallic clang and charged into the Iwagakure camp to seize the culprits.
“Wait!” Bung, seeing this, finally caved, knowing that the Uchiha meant business. Any resistance would be futile and only worsen Iwagakure’s situation. To preserve the greater good, Bung reluctantly agreed, “Give me a moment, and I’ll gather everyone on the list.”
Within ten minutes, over a hundred Iwa ninjas were assembled in front of Tekka and Chishuki, many of them looking nervous and guilty. They knew that what awaited them was likely imprisonment.
Fortunately for most of them, their crimes weren’t severe. They believed that even if imprisoned, they would be released after a few months.
Reassuring themselves with these thoughts, they obediently followed Tekka and Chishuki out of the Iwagakure camp.
“Phew.” Bung exhaled deeply, his clothes drenched in cold sweat. He immediately ordered the remaining Iwa ninjas to pack up and leave Konoha quickly, mentally wishing the captured ones good luck.
Similar scenes unfolded in the camps of Sunagakure, Kumogakure, and Kirigakure, not only in Iwagakure. Following Dan’s orders, the Uchiha clan demanded the surrender of all criminals from the Four Great Ninja Villages in Konoha. No one dared defy the Uchiha.
Eventually, over four hundred ninja criminals were handed over, shackled, and taken to the central plaza of Konoha for a severe trial awaiting them.
Meanwhile, deep in the darkness of the Anbu prison beneath Konoha, Danzo sat on his bed with his eyes closed, appearing calm and composed. His ousting by Konoha’s ninjas hadn’t shaken his belief in himself; he still believed he was the chosen one.
Throughout history, those who achieved greatness often faced many trials. Everything he did was for the village, and no one loved Konoha more than he did. He believed fate was merely testing him.
He was confident that he would eventually walk out of this prison, become Hokage again, and continue his unfinished mission of reviving Konoha and uniting the ninja world.
Suddenly, Danzo furrowed his brows and slowly opened his eyes.
“What is happening outside? It’s so noisy. Without me, Konoha is indeed leaderless and chaotic,” he muttered, asking Yamato and Guy, who were guarding outside his cell.
Even though he was deep underground, Danzo sensed the vibrations from the surface and the numerous voices.
Upon hearing Danzo’s question, Yamato turned and shook his head, saying, “You overestimate yourself, Danzo. The Uchiha clan has returned to Konoha, and the villagers held a grand welcoming ceremony. Moreover, everyone supports Uchiha Dan to become the Sixth Hokage. A new era has begun, one that has nothing to do with you.”
What?!
Danzo was shocked and angrily shouted as he got up, “Making Uchiha Dan the Hokage? Have the villagers gone mad? That lunatic will only lead Konoha to destruction!”
“The real lunatic is you, Danzo. Dan becoming Hokage is what everyone wants, and you, the one who betrayed the village, are the greatest sinner in Konoha’s history. You will be reviled forever,” Yamato retorted, looking at Danzo with disdain and a hint of pity, thinking Danzo was beyond redemption.
“Scoundrel!” Danzo rushed to the bars, gripping them tightly, and roared at Yamato and Guy, “I demand to see Uchiha Dan! Let me out immediately!”
“Dream on!” Guy shouted back, recalling Kakashi’s instructions.
Just then, Kakashi entered from outside, saying to Yamato and Guy, “Open the cell.”
“But, senpai…” Yamato was surprised.
“It’s Dan’s order. He wants to trial Danzo publicly in front of all the villagers,” Kakashi explained, his eyes flashing.
Trial me? Danzo froze for a moment, then smirked coldly. Fine, let me confront Uchiha Dan face to face and let everyone see who truly serves Konoha and who is its sinner.
The cell door creaked open.
On the surface, at the center of the plaza, Dan, Fugaku, and the Uchiha clan stood silently.
Surrounded by a sea of Konoha villagers, all murmuring amongst themselves.
The Uchiha clan seemed to be planning something significant, having summoned all the villagers.
Many were worried that the Uchiha might make unreasonable demands or continue oppressing them like Danzo.
However, their fears were soon proven unfounded.
Contrary to their expectations, hundreds of ninjas from the Four Great Ninja Villages, guarded by Tekka and others, were brought to the plaza’s center.
Seeing this, the previously noisy crowd quieted down, many looking puzzled.
“Begin,” Dan ordered calmly.
Tekka nodded and pushed a Jonin from Iwagakure to the front.
Then he took out a list of charges and read loudly, “Iwagakure Jonin Maruta, after getting drunk, caused trouble and murdered a young mother and daughter. His crime is punishable by death!”
After reading, he kicked Maruta’s legs, making him kneel on the cold ground.
“Wait, I have something to say! You can’t kill me…” Maruta protested in terror, but before he could finish, a sharp blade descended, beheading him.
His head rolled several meters, eyes wide open in disbelief, while his headless body sprayed blood and collapsed.
“Next,” Chishuki said coldly, shaking off the blood from her blade, appearing as a harmless girl but acting as a ruthless executioner.
The plaza was silent, everyone stunned by what they had witnessed.
Then a wave of cheers erupted.
For the past year, ever since Danzo allowed the Four Great Ninja Villages to station troops in Konoha with extraterritorial rights, the villagers had suffered greatly.
Seeing justice served, the villagers finally felt a sense of relief.
In the crowd, a man cried in grief and joy; the murdered mother and daughter were his wife and child. He had sought justice but was oppressed by Konoha’s leaders and Iwagakure, even imprisoned until recently.
Now, seeing the criminal punished, he wept, filled with gratitude toward the Uchiha clan.
The trial continued.
“Sunagakure merchant Yamatada coveted Konoha villagers’ property and murdered an elderly couple. His crime is punishable by death!”
“Kumogakure Chunin Raigo, sneaked into a house at night and assaulted a young man, causing his death. His crime is punishable by death!”
“Kirigakure ninjas Sato, Iten, and Kuroki, tortured and killed two Konoha kunoichi. Their crime is punishable by death!”
One by one, Tekka read the crimes of the ninja coalition forces, and Chishuki beheaded them like chopping vegetables.
Blood quickly stained the plaza ground, blooming like a crimson flower.
Seeing their companions executed, the remaining criminals broke down.
This wasn’t what they had expected.
They thought they’d just be imprisoned, but the Uchiha were ruthless, slaughtering them like pigs.
Driven by a strong will to survive, no one wanted to wait for death.
“Run! Escape!” someone shouted, and hundreds of criminals scattered, trying to flee in all directions.
“Hmph,” Tekka snorted, instantly catching up with two criminals, thrusting Mokuton spikes into their backs.
The spikes quickly branched out, piercing their bodies with countless holes, turning them into blood-soaked wooden flowers.
“Ahhh!” The two died in agony.
On the other side, Chishuki leaped into the air, using her Izanagi ability, launching countless wind blades like a shower of flower petals.
With a series of screams, dozens of criminals were cut into pieces, writhing on the ground like worms, bleeding to death.
“I’ll help,” Uchiha Izumi volunteered, rushing to the center of the plaza.
She unleashed her Mangekyo Sharingan’s ability, Kuronosumaki. A dark, swirling void expanded from her position, enveloping most of the plaza. The fleeing criminals found themselves plunged into a pitch-black domain where their senses were nullified.
Within the impenetrable darkness, the criminals panicked, unable to see, hear, or even feel their surroundings properly. The only thing that penetrated the darkness was the sound of their own terrified screams, each one abruptly cut off as Izumi’s relentless strikes found their marks.
Minutes later, the darkness receded. The Konoha villagers watched in a mixture of awe and horror as the scene became clear. The plaza was littered with the bodies of the fallen criminals, most of whom had met gruesome ends. A few survivors remained, trembling and prostrating themselves, all hope of escape gone.
This brief but brutal show of power left a deep impression on everyone present. The Uchiha clan’s might and decisiveness were undeniable.
The executions continued, with those guilty of severe crimes facing immediate death at the hands of Chishuki. At the same time, those with lesser offenses were sentenced to long prison terms or life imprisonment. Each judgment was cheered and approved by the Konoha villagers, who felt justice was finally being served.
The day wore on, and the sun shone brightly, symbolizing a new beginning for Konoha. The villagers’ hearts were filled with hope and warmth, inspired by the fairness and decisiveness of the Uchiha’s justice.
“Long live the Uchiha!”
“Long live Konoha!”
The deafening cheers echoed, shaking the very skies above the village.
Standing at the edge of the plaza, Tsunade observed the fervent crowd and then glanced at Dan, who stood at the forefront. She couldn’t help but mutter, “That guy really knows how to win over the people.”
She never expected Dan to make such a bold move, immediately establishing the Uchiha’s authority and earning the villagers’ gratitude. It seemed there was more to him than just muscle.
Perhaps Uchiha Dan would indeed become the greatest Hokage in history.
As Tsunade pondered this, Shizune, standing beside her, suddenly gasped and pointed towards the entrance of the plaza.
“Tsunade-sama, look.”
Tsunade’s gaze followed Shizune’s finger, and she saw a familiar figure being escorted by Might Guy and Yamato toward the center of the plaza.
The main event had arrived.
The former Fifth Hokage, Danzo, was the last criminal to face judgment at this trial assembly.
His arrival completely electrified the crowd of Konoha villagers.
