Undying Warlord - Chapter 570 The Undying Vs The Eternal Darkness (8)
A tremendous explosion occurred, but the only thing Kaeldur could see was blood splattering through the entire arena, followed by bone fragments, chunks of blood, shreds of skins, and brain mass spreading out in all directions.
“The chains broke…” Nial mumbled, spitting out his opponent’s blood when the backlash hit him.
He had accumulated enough energy, Essence of Darkness and Chaos to bind Dilan for decades if necessary, or so Nial thought. He had grossly miscalculated his opponent it seemed he received the result in an instant.
Dilan had used his entire body to overclock the Power of Destruction within him. By creating numerous layers of destruction inside and outside himself and the overclocked condition of his Power of Destruction was it possible for Dilan to break free of his shackles?
The chains were broken and Dilan immediately showed signs of healing. The fragments of his body were rapidly pulled together and he absorbed the surrounding mana just moments later to exert Green Magic.
A split second later, he unleashed a typhoon out of nowhere and got hurled far away from his current position. His body was still being reconstructed, and it would require several seconds for him to heal completely.
Nial wanted to make use of these seconds and overwhelm Dilan once again. Even if he was not able to win against Dilan given the rules of his second Godly mission, it was a fact that he could still successfully pass his mission!
However, Dilan didn’t look like he wanted to accept a tie. Being declared a winner seemed to be important enough for Dilan to accept the pain that no sane person would ever be willing to endure!
Not even Nial could imagine how much pain Dilan had gone through in this battle, and he couldn’t care about it either, even if he wanted to. If he started to care about his opponent, he might actually lose, especially against a maniac like the Undying.
Hence, Nial released more than ten thousand vines of darkness from all over the Colosseum’s arena. The vines shot out of the ground and the arena’s walls and traveled straight toward Dilan, giving him no room to evade them.
The typhoon he had summoned was also destroyed due to the influence of the darkness veins that pierced through the powerful winds without hesitation.
Within two seconds, the typhoon subsided. It dispersed and released the miserable figure of Dilan’s healing body.
He was high in the air, and his upper body had mostly regenerated, which included his head and face, on which everyone could see the smile of a crazy maniac.
“This lunatic…” Kaeldur growled, his long claws turning crimson as he squatted down on the ground. His claws touched the ground and it was just a moment later that Nial reacted as well, sending more dark energy, crimson moonlight, and Essence of Darkness inside his companion’s body.
Afterward, it took Kaeldur only a moment to generate the necessary force to blast upward while his claws reached out for Dilan’s head.
Dilan could only see Kaeldur’s afterimages at first but that was more than enough for him to create a counterfeit.
“You guys are not the only ones who can play around and trick with your colors!” He shouted while his crazy smile morphed into a devious grin.
Dilan’s arms were shrouded in crimson bolts of lightning all of a sudden. The bolts of lightning burned through his skin and flesh, destroying everything they touched in an instant. But even then, Dilan just smiled.
He summoned the strongest bolts of lightning belonging to the Lightning God’s Fist technique after all. It was obvious that no mortal should possess the power to wield, let alone control this kind of power.
DIlan didn’t even dream of being able to control the crimson bolts of lightning. He might have a few loose screws but he was not delusional!
Using the mana that originated from the huge cloud of mana from high in the air, Dilan received the ability to summon the crimson bolts of lightning, to begin with. As for unleashing them in a controlled manner, he didn’t plan to do that, to begin with.
But what he could possibly do was to unleash more and more of his power, creating an overloaded state the moment the Demon, who attacked him, emerged in front of him.
Dilan had fought against Nial and his Demons for a very long time. Countless days had passed and he could fathom the train of thoughts of his opponent and predict their moves, by now. Thus, he knew exactly what was going to happen.
His head flicked back and so did the rest of his regenerating body milliseconds before he released the charge of crimson bolts of lightning that were supposed to be used as a shroud and amplification of one’s fist instead of a supernatural, God-killing charge.
However, that was exactly what Dilan did. One of his arms reached for the sky, while his other arm aimed into nothingness…or so it looked at the first glance.
“Come out, you fucking bastard!!” Dilan thundered under tremendous pain as his body was getting destroyed and healed at the same instance. He laughed like a maniac as he unleashed the power of the crimson bolt of lightning through both of his arms.
Simultaneously, his head flicked upward unveiling the Demon, who had forcefully altered his trajectory multiple times in the attempt to outwit Dilan.
But now that he was only a meter away from Dilan, and was ready to decapitate him, it looked like the Undying had already predicted all of this.
It was almost as if Dilan was in possession of a clairvoyance ability, capable of telling what would happen in the future that lay ahead of them.
‘Burn to crisp!’
The crimson bolts of lightning were discharged and the power that was supposed to be wielded only by the strongest gods was released at once. Dilan and Kaeldur were burned to a crisp and the Demon, who had never voiced out his discomfort, let alone pain, not even when his arms were cut off, let out a soul-screeching wail that rang through the ears of the two Fate Changers.
Nial lifted his arm in response to the unbearable scream of his trusted companion and grayish currents covered both of his arms.
He unleashed his chaos, ignoring the pain that spread through his body upon using powers he was not supposed to be able to wield yet.
“If you can use the powers of Gods, I might as well endure the Chaos that spread through me!!” Nail screamed at the top of his lungs as he released the Chaos that was supposed to stop the discharge of the crimson bolts of lightning.
Nial’s arms cramped horribly when he unleashed the mysterious Power of Chaos. He gave his all to end the suffering of his loyal comrade, but it was to no avail.
The crimson bolts of lightning never stopped unleashing their tremendous power, not even when they crashed to the ground.
Nial burst forward, controlling the vines of darkness precisely. He ordered them to pierce into the mass that was shrouded by crimson bolts of lighting and to drag Kaeldur out of the mess.
Nial momentarily forgot about Dilan as he was completely focused on saving Kaeldur. It was also why the Eternal Darkness didn’t realize that Dilan was not even in the mass of the crimson bolt of lightning anymore.
More than 20 seconds had passed since Dilan had discharged the bolts of lightning, and remnants of his mortal body were still left behind.
However, what nobody had realized was that Dilan’s head, heart and soul had long since left the chaotic mess of bolts of lightning when he fell to the ground.
“Sorry to trouble you, but this moon is fucking annoying!”
