Unexpected Lovediscovering A New World - Chapter 32

As the sun rose bringing in light into the living room ,liv woke up covered in a familiar jacket and in a warm embrace.She felt so comfortable and protected with a familiar scent wafting in to her nose.It took her a few seconds to realize that she had fallen asleep in Ian’s arms last might.She got up slowly trying not to wake him feeling guilty.Placing the jacket next to him she covered him up with a blanket and went to her room to shower and change.

As she showered she thought about what he said.She didnt expect for a person like him to have gone through such heart break and betrayal.Then again no one deserves to go through something like that.One thing did cross her mind. why does he have such a bad boy reputation?she wanted to know as much as she could about him.She dried herself up and changed into a pair of light blue jeans and a white blouse with wedges.She was finishing getting ready when the smell of pancakes came into her room.Is he already up?she walked out towards the kitchen to find him making breakfast.

“well good morning sleeping beauty, hope you slept well” Ian asked her as he placed the plates of food on the table.” good morning….Im sorry I didnt want to wake you.You didnt have to clean up and make breakfast for us.”she told him as she reached for two coffee mugs and served coffee for them.” no problem… I woke up while you were showering and well one thing for sure is that I might not be good at cooking dinner but I sure can cook breakfast. enjoy” he told her as they sat down to eat.” you look amazing by the way.Im assuming your ready for today?” he asked her as he took a sip of coffee.Liv had already started eating looked at him taking a drink from her coffee.”thank you …this is delicious by the way.Well what else is there for us to do today?” He smiled at her and ate more of his food.” how about you leave that to me.We just need to pick some stuff up that I ordered from Maddie and we’ll head out.”liv pouted a bit at not knowing what they were going to do.” you know you look so cute when you make that face but relax I’m pretty sure you will love it.”he said as he chuckled seeing her reaction.” as they finished eating liv got up to clear the empty plates.”do you mind if I shower real quick?” he asked her.” Well that’s a pretty bold question to ask someone who you just met…but go on ahead I have an extra toothbrush in the drawer that I keep in case of unexpected situations.” he leaned in a bit closer just inches away from her.She felt her heart beat faster.”Well then I greatly appreciate that let me get the extra change of clothes I have in my car.”he told her.She watched him walk out and sighed.why do I feel like this? I shouldn’t be feeling like this at all.She went to go get him clean towels and placed them in the bathroom counter.He was wallking in with his clothes in hand as live walked out.” you can place your laundry in the hamper there so I can put it to wash when we come back.”liv told him. ” is that an invite for another sleep over?” he teased her.she blushed and responded to him” no…its just that …” laughing at her reaction he walked in the bathroom.” dont panic I’m just teasing you..ill be out In a bit.”

Liv was sitting down in the living room reading a book when he came out fixing his hair back.”ready to head out?” he asked her.

“yeah let’s go. just waiting on you”she told him as she grabbed her bag and placed her book inside it along with her phone.As they both got In the car Ian checked his phone only to realize it was dead.” Oh well it not important” he told her as he placed it in his jacket.After he picked up the basket that Maddie had prepared for lunch for them they took off to the outskirts of the town heading deeper into the woods.”should I be worried for my life right now?” she asked him.” No …we’re almost there …we just need to park up ahead and walk a bit more in. I can guarantee you’ll love it”he told her with that devilish grin he has that can make any woman melt at the sight.Once they got there they parked and started walking.As they got closer liv could hear water from a distance.Ian guided her as he carried the basket and livs bag. “we are here ” he told her as she looked around at the beautiful sight in front of her.There was a huge waterfall in front of them the trees and multi colored flowers and plants made it look like something out of a picture book.” it’s so beautiful here , the water looks so clean and clear.”she said as she got closer to water feeling the cool refreshing water on her hands.Ian was setting up a blanket on a side and started setting up their lunch. Liv turned to him and saw the blanket set up. She remebered her first time with Liam and felt a sudden pain in her heart.”I hope your not expecting anything from me…” she told him as she slowly walked back.” all I’m expecting is a nice lunch with very good company to relax and get to know better.maybe even a nap”he said as he took out a small pillow. she smiled at him as she sat down starting to eat.” there is something that I do want to know.” she stopped and finally got the courage to ask him.”ask away I’m an open book” he said as he placed his food down. ” why are you known as the town play boy here?” he laughed at her sudden question. Well one thing for sure is that you have seen how woman react at the sight of me so alot of people men specifically hate that.” she laughed as she remembered Maddies reaction and also all the woman staring when they went shopping.”plus I did mess around a lot during my time in high school and college that is until I got tired of that.”he told her as he layed down looking up to the sky.” To be honest after my parents passing I figured I shouldnt be wasting my life and finally get a stable relationship to grow a family someday. Does that answer your question?” he asked her staring up like in a transe.She felt a bit more calm there but her thoughts kept drifting back to Liam which made her feel guilty.Here is this amazing person right next to her and all she keeps remembering at that moment is the man who broke her heart into a million pieces.

Ian watched her as she sat there in a serious thought.He saw how beautiful she looked just sitting there with such pale beautiful skin and her almond shaped eyes which stand out because of her bright blue color.” If you give me a chance I can help you forget him” he told her.She turned to him with a single tear running down her cheek.”I dont want to feel this pain anymore”she told him. He sat up and grabbed her hand kissing it.” then let me help you…even if you want to be just friends. all I want is for you to smile. will you let me?”
