Unlimited Power 03: The Sinful Ruler - Chapter 343 He Is Back
The armored fire wolves charged toward Frederick’s group with their mouths open and using Flamethrower. The power of those flames was so intense that even Frederick’s earth walls melted in a matter of seconds. Luke was waiting for a chance to attack them with his longsword, but he was unable to find the chance when he looked at the flames. The monsters were charging like a proper army and in line, so there were no openings…
From the ground, Frederick fired many earth bullets toward the eyes of the enemies. They flew fast enough to endure the flames, but they lost some piercing power thanks to it and changed their course as well… thanks to it, they only hit the armored parts of the armor before falling on the ground.
“Annoying pests…” Luke said and then spammed Mana Blades. “There is no end to them… at this rate…”
The attacks passed through the flames and also landed on the armor protecting the faces of the monsters, and while the damage was piling up… it didn’t happen fast enough to stop them. When they were only ten meters away, Frederick turned the ground. They took their final step into quicksand and made them sink to their deaths…
Frederick thought that he could just surround the area with quicksand, but despite their heavy armor, the monsters managed to jump over it. Luke charged at them, ignoring the flames coming from their mouths, and then killed one of them after making his sword pierce it. When the nearest ones pointed their mouths at him, Frederick fired numerous earth spears and forced them to eat them.
“Don’t be reckless, Luke,” Frederick said. “Endurance and mentality aren’t your forte.”
“We don’t have any other options here, the front liners aren’t used to fighting the monsters like this, and they are hesitating,” Luke said while his armor was emitting some smoke.

“… You are right,” Frederick said and then thought of something. “Rose, contact the leaders of all parties. Make them change battlefields the same way I will tell you.”
“We don’t have time to organize our forces like that,” Rose said.
“We will have to make the time if we want to survive this,” Frederick said. “This is just the first attack. Certainly, they don’t think that monsters can finish the job here.”
Rose nodded, some people would end up dying since the battle fronts would lose numbers for a while, but there was nothing else that they could do.
In the end, Frederick sent his best warriors to deal with the stone eye cyclops and golems. He made the best archers help against the ice trolls and the best ice magic users to help with the fire wolves… that only took ten minutes. Still, a lot of people died, and the guilds also lost a lot of ground… the monsters kept pushing them backward, and eventually, the back of all the guilds found each other.
“Things are getting… troublesome,” Julian said while seeing a sea of corpses in front of him and still countless ice trolls still moving toward him.
Until now, Julian managed to protect the backline. He repelled many ice clubs. Thanks to that, his hands were bleeding a lot… his bones had been cracking with every single hit he took, and they began to pierce his flesh and muscles as well. Lana had become good enough with healing magic to the point that she could repair broken bones in five minutes. However, the damage that Julian received was greater than that.
“Take a few steps back and rest for a while. I can deal with this,” Arilene declared and then summoned more ghost archers to deal with the enemies.

A rain of arrows fell on the enemy’s lines, and around fifteen trolls were killed, but at the same time, Arilene’s eyes began to roll, and she almost collapsed on the ground. Louise offered a shoulder to lean on.
“You should listen to your own advice,” Louise said while draining the mana from the ice clubs of all the trolls.
The weapons began to shatter since Louise was getting better at that, but the enemies’ fists still were lethal… Louise used the mana she had just obtained to cast a massive fireball using her whole mana pool, and after firing it, a massive explosion took place in the middle of the enemy’s lines. Trolls began to fly in all directions with their bodies in flames or in pieces… Still, Louise as well got dizzy and almost collapsed.
“I don’t believe that I did what that moron told me…” Lana said and then began to use mana potions on everyone. “This would be funny if it weren’t tragic.”
Lana had quite the stock of potions in her storage ring since she didn’t find many uses for them in the last few months. Thanks to that, the group began to recover their energy a lot faster and recovered before the next wave of enemies could approach.
“We can manage like this for a while, but it is only a matter of time before the balance breaks…” Louise thought while looking around and saw other parties being defeated. “We are enduring quite well despite the odds, but we need more…”
Louise began to think about their options, but before she had much time to think about that, she noticed the atmosphere changing. The monsters around took a few steps backward for some reason… they still had the upper hand, so that was truly suspicious.
Eventually, everyone around began to hear more footsteps and the metallic sound of armor and weapons. It didn’t take long for them to see an army of humans approaching, and their numbers were massive… In front of them, the five other guild masters stepped up. In front of Louise’s group, Rhode approached, and someone unpleasant took a few steps forward as well.
“Well, if it isn’t Louise… it has been a while,”
Louise’s ex-boyfriend was back, and his creepy smile only got worse…
