Be always conscious of God’s abiding presence. Let the word of God be more real to you than the situations in the world. There may be darkness in the world but darkness cannot overcome light. The ever conquering light of God’s word is always available for every believer no matter the prevalent darkness on earth; so be conscious of the divine presence.

…For he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Reading about the evil happening in the society should not make you assume that all hope is lost; don’t think good things can no longer happen. God can make things work positively for you because God is still in the business of working.

And we know we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness

With this consciousness, you should practice God’s presence by worshipping Him always.
