Unrivaled Demon’s Odyssey - Chapter 225
When Nero met with Emilia and Asteria, he found Emilia fighting with the woman who was selling horses. Apparently, Emilia was trying to pet the horse, but the horse kicked Emilia. And instead of apologizing, the woman started yelling at Emilia.
Nero sorted out everything by buying all the horses and setting them free in front of the woman.
Then, they bought a luxurious carriage with a mattress inside it. The carriage needed three hours to run, but Nero bought four in case something happened to one of them.
The carriage also had a facility to drive from inside, so Nero didn’t have to sit outside and drive the carriage all day. Now, he can drive while having fun with the girls.
On their first night, Nero had fun with Emilia, and Asteria joined in for some fun too, but Sophia denied it and said she wasn’t in the mood. Nero didn’t pry much and shrugged it off as it was nothing unusual for Sophia not to be in the mood. She still needed to lose her virginity every time she had sex with Nero, so it was understandable.
However, on the second day, when they stopped in the forest to pick some fruits from the tree, Nero and Asteria had a quickie. Later, when Emilia got to know about it, she demanded justice.
He didn’t want to mess with Emilia as she already seemed to be in a foul mood ever since Nero came back after mating with Klee. So, Nero started riding Emilia by making her sit on his lap, and Emilia drove the carriage by holding the reins.
Later that evening, they decided to stop and let the horses rest as they were walking for more than a day. They stopped near a waterfall, and the first thing they did after stopping was to take a dip in the waterfall.
All three girls enjoyed their baths. It was Asteria’s first time having ‘fun’ in the water, but she started liking it and asked Nero if they could do ‘it’ underwater when they travel through the sea.
Asteria and Emilia had so much fun, but Sophia, however, wasn’t joining.
Nero found it weird as she was perfectly fine when he came back from Klee’s suction, and they even kissed for a while in her real form. He knew that Sophia wasn’t angry or upset. But it wasn’t like Sophia not to join the girls, especially when they were having so much fun.
Nero asked Sophia if something was wrong or if she needed to talk or she was troubled by something, but Sophia simply shook her head and said, “I just need a little ‘me’ time.”
After having unlimited fun and not sleeping a wink for the entire night, they went back to the carriage and resumed their journey. A day passed, and Sophia still wasn’t in her usual self. Nero had noticed that in their three days of travel, Emilia hadn’t once talked with Sophia, nor had Sophia talked with Emilia.
Nero assumed they had a fight or something, as Sophia did mention about fighting, and then diverted the topic by mentioning Emilia’s battle with the guardian. However, Nero knew Sophia was referring to something else before.
After Nero went with Klee to mate, the girls spent their days, as Sophia had mentioned to Nero. However, she didn’t say one thing.
On that day, during the night, when Sophia and Emilia were bathing in the open hot spring, they talked about various things. Then Emilia mentioned her life and said how happy she was that she met Nero. She was genuinely glad that she had met Nero. She also mentioned how she considered Sophia and Asteria as her family, like sisters.
After listening to Emilia’s pure, innocent, and genuine thoughts, Sophia couldn’t bear the guilt anymore and told Emilia everything about Lucifer being her father. At first, Emilia thought Sophia was joking, but she knew that Sophia wouldn’t joke about something like that.
Emilia asked for proof and more details, and Sophia told exactly the same things she said to Asteria when she didn’t believe her. After realizing Sophia was telling the truth, Emilia was devastated.
She felt as though someone had stabbed her right into the heart, not once or twice, but thousands of times. Emilia didn’t know what to do, and she couldn’t help but cry. She cried and cried until she passed out in Sophia’s arms.
When Asteria came to check up on the hot spring as Emilia and Sophia hadn’t returned, she found Emilia passed out in Sophia’s arms, and Sophia was crying. Confused and puzzled, when she asked Sophia what happened, Sophia told her that she told Emilia everything.
Sophia and Asteria cried together as they knew how tough it would be on Emilia to look at Nero. However, Emilia was perfectly fine the next day and acted as though nothing had ever happened. Sophia was worried that Emilia might have forgotten what happened in the hot spring. Although she was a little relieved knowing that she didn’t destroy Emilia’s one and only reason to live, she felt guilty again.
When Nero and Sophia had gone to the mattresses store, Asteria mentioned to Emilia, if she remembered anything, and Emilia nodded and said, “I do.”
Asteria couldn’t understand why Emilia was acting like normal. She was happy that Emilia didn’t let her origin affect her, but she was a little worried about her. Asteria was ready to support Emilia at any time.
However, the woman disguised as an old man in the mattress store said that Sophia was mistaken and Emilia wasn’t Lucifer’s daughter. What was the truth? No one knows, except the woman in the store who had long disappeared after Nero left the store.
After thinking about her future and her relationship with Nero, Emilia decided to tell Nero everything. She was ready to face Nero’s wrath. She was ready to be casted out by Nero. She was ready to be killed by Nero.
She was ready to receive any punishment Nero would give her, even when it wasn’t her fault, even when she wasn’t even Lucifer’s daughter.
The sun eventually set, and they decided to set a tent as the wind was high, and they would rest for a long time because riding a horse carriage in the stormy wind would definitely trigger some kind of flag.
Nero was thinking of inviting Sophia to the night service, but Emilia insisted on going instead. Nero assumed Emilia’s sex drive had increased again, and she wanted to have some extra fun. But Emilia, however, was going to confess everything.
