Vampire Ruler’s Strong Bride - Chapter 25

After finishing the lessons Emily , Iris and Sky decided to go at the hotel they were resting. They went towards the limousine . When they entered inside Sky noticed the long faces of Emily and Iris .

” I cannot believe you’re being like this just because of a mere human . ” said Sky indifferently .

“What can you know about it ?! We were together for two whole months , she always helped us and treated us equally without trying to gain anything from us , of course I would miss someone like that ! ” said Emily with an angry expression.

” Yeah ! Plus she … ” said Iris but then stopped .

” She saved you . ” continued Sky .

Emily and Iris looked at him surprised.

” YOU KNEW ?!!! “said them in a loud and very surprised tone .

” I need to remind you that vampire’s ears are sėnsɨtɨvė so decrease your tone’s vocality a little . Yes , I knew and that’s precisely why I spared her even thought she called me a giraffe. About you keeping it a secret from me, I will deal with you once we return to England ! ” said Sky with eyes full of anger .

‘ Scary !!!!’ thought Iris and Emily .

When they arrived at the hotel Sky went right at his room leaving Emily and Iris to be surveilled by the bodyguards . Without his permission, they weren’t allowed to step out of the hotel .

” Your Highness ! Your grandfather just called and he wanted to talk with you as soon as possible. ” said the servant . Sky had just arrived in the suite .

” Okay ! Inform ms Emily and Iris that I will be having dinner in my room today . ” said Sky .

The servant bowed, closed the door and left . Sky took off his jacket and t-shirt then wore his sleeping clothes . After finishing dinner , he closed the lights and took a glass of wine .

His upper part of the body was covered by a messy and unwell buŧŧoned shirt . His ċhėst was being lightened by the moonlight . The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful .

‘ I need to find that source that grandfather talked about . It’s weird ! At the beginning I could feel it even though it was weak , now I can’t even catch a glimpse of it . What has changed ?! ‘

Sky was lost in his thoughts . From one side he was trying to find a solution on how to deal with the national affairs of different conflicts in the court , from another side he had to find the one who emits a weird energy to know whether that person was an enemy or not .

From all the work-related thoughts that were running through his head , Kiara’s face came to his mind .

” From all the things that I had to deal with , I even met a little tigress ! Her temper sure is

something ! ” said Sky while thinking of her fierce expression directed to him .

‘ I can’t help but think she is funny ! It’s been centuries since the last time someone looked at me like that . It’s nice to see something out of the ordinary to relieve some boredom, but now she left . ‘ thought Sky then his expression became a bit dark .

Sky remembered he had to call his grandfather and then took the phone .

” You brat ! Finally ! ” said mr Charles , Sky’s grandfather .

” Hello to you too , grandfather ! ” said Sky with half a smile .

” No time for greeting now ! I called to tell you that your mission in San Francisco is suspended . I want you to return to England within two days . The things at court are a mess and there’s also the Willows family matter . ”

” What do you mean with the Willows family ?! ” asked Sky confused .

” The Willows family is the second family who holds a lot of military power under its control, apart from the Kadars which is ranked first . The Willows family will organize the final heir competition in the royal ground here in England , the heir will be chosen through a fight among the candidates . This event requires the presence of the future king ! You need to come in place of your father,Eskylrious ! ” said Mr Charles .

” Grandfather , do I have to abandon the mission here ? ”

” Yes , son ! Come as fast as you can ! ”

” Sure ! Also, I need to tell you grandfather that the energy source has disappeared, I can’t sense it anymore . ” said Sky .

” What ?! How is that possible ?! ” asked Mr Charles in a worried tone .

” I know , but it just disappeared . Just like it came !….I will come soon tomorrow . ” said Sky while looking at the moon .

He closed the phone call and one of the bodyguards came .

” Your Highness ! I came to report ! ” said the bodyguard .

” Speak ! ”

” Your Highness ! We have been investigating ms Kiara’s background and it resulted in a very unexpected way . ” said the bodyguard and handed over Kiara’s file .

Sky opened the file and started to read the information gathered . When he looked at Kiara’s surname he remained shocked .

‘ Kiara’s surname is Willows ? ‘thought Sky but when he read a bit more he understood that Kiara was from the Willows family .

” Kiara is the one who is most nominated to be the next heir of the Willows family ?!!! Unbelievable ! “said

Sky but then he remembered that she asked him to get her the phone he broke and plus she didn’t have really expensive clothes on .

‘ As a member of this prestigious family she should be swimming in money ?! Why ? ‘ thought Sky .

” Everything is written in there Your Highness ! You will understand when you read it ! If you may allow me to say something , that girl’s life is very pitiful for being a member of the Willows family . That made her become a fighter and a happiness craving person . ” said the bodyguard who had understood Sky’s thoughts from his expression .

” Well done with the research ! Go get the bonus from the economist . ” said Sky .

” Thank you , Your Highness ! ” said the bodyguard then left .

Sky continued to look at the file .

” Kiara , the fact that you can still smile after all these events , it’s indeed surprising ! ” said Sky a bit sad when reading her life story .
