Veiled Love - Chapter 12 Nine Tailed Fox

Seeing Eunuch Choi paling, Soo Jin stood up and walked towards him. She held on to his arm to steady him and asked, “Are you okay, Eunuch Choi?”

Realising that she was up close, Eunuch choi steadied himself and said with a smile “I am sorry, Your Highness I didn’t mean to intrude. No one heard me when I announced my arrival outside.”

“Its okay, do not worry about it. Did you come for anything?” asked Soo Jin.

“Yes, the ceremony is about to start. Everyone is waiting on you.” replied Eunuch Choi.

Mama Chun stepped forward and helped Soo Jin tie her veil. Once the veil was tied, she said

“Your highness is ready. Please lead the way.”

Outside of the quarters, Soo Jin saw that there was a palanquin and a man on horse waiting for her, she realised the man on the horse was crown prince. He was dressed in his royal wedding robe, his facial expression was cold and unwelcoming. He did not look her way at all.

Soo Jin stepped into the palanquin and said to her ” Two can play at that game.”

Arriving at the main palace, everyone was eager to see how the bride will look. Everyone stared as the palanquin stopped and out came a small snow white feminine hand, assisting her was Eunuch Choi.Once she was fully out of the palanquin, all the people stared at the young veiled lady who was dressed in a wonsam that no-one has ever seen. The dress fit her lean, tall and proportioned body perfectly well.

All the young maidens present were dying of envy. Walking up the stairs side by side, the crown prince and Soo Jin reach the top. The wedding started and the necessary procedure had taken place. To end the ceremony the groom and bride had to feed each other wine.

The king was in a very good mood, he had finally got his son married to a woman his true queen had chosen. He was happy with the daughter- in law he had chosen and with due time his son will too understand and be more than happy with his wife.

King was smiling as he was looking down at the couple, he noticed that Soo Jin looked a bit uncomfortable. She looked up at him and by just looking at her eyes he knew what was making her uncomfortable. This new father and daughter connection was powerful and he was loving every minute of it.

“Han Hyun and Han So, please step forward.” The king commanded. Everyone stopped their eager eyes and watched as the two Han brothers went forward.

“Yes, Your majesty.” replied the Han brothers.

“Step forward and use this silk sheet to drape your sister and your brother in law from the crowd while they feed each other wine” said the king.

“Your majesty don’t you think that’s a bit too much” whispered the queen to the king unhappily. The queen was looking forward to seeing this hideous creature under the veil, she wanted the crown prince to be embarrassed and feel shame.

“If my daughter-in law wants to be shielded, that’s what she will have.” replied the king sternly without batting an eye at the queen.

Everyone was shocked by the kings command even the crown prince.

‘What has this woman done to father? Why is father so protective of her?’ thought to himself.

Soo Jin was also shocked by the king’s command. She looked up to see the Crown prince scowling at her, he looked at her with resentment.

Wondering what she has ever done to this man, Soo Jin looked down at her hands. She felt him moving closer to her with the cup of wine in his hand.

“Hurry up and lift your cup.” Soo Jin heard him say with his distant voice. She picked up cup and used her other hand to slowly lift her veil up to her nose.

The ceremony master announced for the two people to now drink their wine once the silk cloth has been put in place. Soo Jin took a sip of the wine from Yong-Sun’s cup and slowly moisten her lips making it shiny by licking her lips.

Yong-Sun also took a sip, drinking wine out of Soo Jin’s cup.He slowly up looked up at the young girl in front of him for the second time that day. He caught himself staring at her lips, they were full and lush. He noticed that she was not wearing any make up, her natural lip colour was nude pink with a dash of red. They looked juicy and very sedctive, it made his throat dry just by gawking at them.

‘She is a nine-tailed fox, there is no other explanation.’ Yong-Sun thought to himself.

“The ceremony has come to an end. Let the song and dance commence” announced the master of ceremony reviving Yong-Sun from his daydream.

The music started to play and out game dancers, high rank officials came one by one to introduce themselves and congratulate the couple.

Soo Jin welcomed everyone and smiled. Even though her smile could not be seen, everyone knew that she was smiling as her eyes would smile.

“Thank you and pleasure to meet you.” smiled Soo Jin while bowing. Over 100 hundred people came to personally congratulate them. She noticed the crown prince just had a forced smile on his face but he was not thanking people.
