Veiled Love - Chapter 14 A Scare Is Good For The Hear

Morning had arrived early for Yong-Sun, the bright sunlight broke into the day room as there were no drapes or any blockage from the sun. He unconsciously got up and made his way to Soo Jin’s bedroom, as he was still half asleep he climbed onto the futon bed and carried on sleeping.

A couple of hours later, Soo Jin woke up as she felt an arm over her abdomen. Slowly turning her head, she found that crown prince lying beside her in deep sleep.

She slowly tried to lift his arm off her but failed miserably. He seemed to sense that his source of warmth was trying to escape so he buried his face in the nape of her neck instinctively and tightened his grip around her as he dragged her closer to him.

‘What is wrong with this psycho says one thing and does another’ Soo Jin thought to herself. As her veil was not near her and she couldn’t escape his domineering tight grip, she reached out for her cover. Once she was presentable, she cleared her throat and mischievously smiled before screaming at the top of her lungs.

“WHAT!! WHAT HAS HAPPENED?” the crown asks while jumping to his feet on attack mode.

“What are doing in here, sleeping beside me?” questioned Soo Jin, acting surprised while using the cover as a veil.

Looking around Yong-Sun realised that he was in the wrong in the room. He must have walked in here to avoid the sunlight. ‘Dammit, I played myself’ he thought to himself.

“Your Highness, is everything okay in there. We heard her highness scream,” asked the crown prince’s head eunuch.

“Yes, yes we are fine. Do not come in.” replied Yong-Sun firmly.

He turned his attention back to Soo Jin and whispered, “couldn’t you have woken me up quieter rather than causing a commotion?”

“Well your highness a scare is good for the heart” replied Soo Jin while trying to conceal her amusement.

She watched him turn around and walk out of the bedroom. Thinking he was gone, she put the cover down and slowly got up. She reached for thick drapes and drew them to the side allowing the sun to shine into the room.

Standing in front of the window, her silky, jet black hair hung down to her waist. Her white night gown was rather transparent in front of the window. This made her look both elegant and seductive.

She was busy looking out of the window enjoying the beautiful scenery to notice that someone has walked into the room and was watching with wide eyes.

Still unaware of the person behind her, Soo Jin started to stretch her limps. As she was about to bend down she heard someone cough behind her.
