” Hyungnim!!!” three voices simultaneously echoed through the Han courtyard. Everyone all turned at the same time to face 4 young men who looked so similar to Han Hyun.

” You thought we forgot you was arriving today, didn’t you” Han So spoke while smiling dashingly. All of the servants present in the garden all blushed.

” I have been working in this household for more 5 years and I cannot get used how devilishly handsome the young masters are” whispered the one of the young female servants. All the others agreed, nodding their heads without breaking their stares away from the young masters who were joyously embracing each other.

“Housekeeper Choi,, please prepare some refreshments and bring it over to the Master’s drawing room, we will all be catching up in there.” said Madam Han as she followed her 5 children and husband into the drawing room.

Laughter and much chatter could be heard all through the Han household

Early next morning the whole Han household noticed that Master Han left for the palace earlier than usual, a eunuch had come to summon the great general to the palace. Now that he has arrived, Soo Jin noticed that her father was looking rather disturbed.

He had summoned for the whole family to come into the meeting hall, everyone is thinking that a big problem is going happen. Everyone seemed to have settled down and was waiting for father to say something, but he remained silent.

“Father, what is the problem? Please tell us what is bothering you, we cannot take the anxiety anymore” Han Seung spoke up, feeling worried.

“Yes father, what happen?” Han Joon asked. Han Jung then took a deep breath and looked up, he made eye contact with everyone in the room except with Soo Jin. Han Jung has never done that, this is bad.

After absorbing everyone’s worried looks, father finally spoke up ” your majesty has issued a decree/ proposal”.

“Oh. What is the decree/ proposal?” Soo Jin asked.

“It’s marriage proposal.” continued Han Jung.

” No way oraboni Seung is finally going to get married. This is awesome.” exclaimed Soo Jin. Three of her brothers were married except for Han Seung.

Soo Jin looked around to see if everyone else was as excited as her, but it seemed her mother was teary, and her brothers were looking her with heartbroken eyes. “What is wrong, why is mother crying and why are you guys looking at me like that” questioned Soo jin.

” My light to this dark cruel World, father is sorry. The marriage proposal is for you. The king has issued a decree to you, you have to marry the crown prince.” Han Jung said as he looked down. He couldn’t face his daughter, he didn’t want to see how look of a broken-hearted girl.

The smile on Soo Jin face froze and she slowly started to register the words that came out of your father’s mouth. It felt like a lighting had struck her, the meeting hall was pin drop silent.

” Father how could this happen? We tried so hard to make Soo Jin seem incapable all these years, how can the King just summon you and command to have your daughter marry his son? This just doesn’t make sense.” Han Joon half yelled, and half sobbed.

“We cannot accept this proposal, tell the king that Soo Jin has a terminal illness.

JUST TELL HIM ANYTHING TO CHANGE HIS MIND!!

TELL HIM SHES PASSED AWAY!!
