Yu Yingyi left the store to head into the city where crowds of people could be seen swarming around a certain area. She couldn’t see anything due to the people being squished together. Seeing this, Yu Yingyi wondered if she really wanted to check it out.

Following Wang Shu’s instructions, she went up to the citizens and asked, “Excuse me? Can you make a path? I can’t see what’s going on.”

“Ah, princess!”

“We’ll make way! Everyone! Make way to the princess!”

Just like that, everyone started splitting up as if this was planned. Yu Yingyi only needed to wait for them to finish making a path for her. Once they were done, Yu Yingyi could see countless people lining up.

But another thing caught her eye, all the way down the line where it started, Yingyi could see a sparkling shop decorated with white flowers, and the exterior was lavished.

“Don’t tell me this is the flower shop,” Yu Yingyi muttered in disbelief as she speed-walked down the path..

She didn’t believe Mei Xiang could finish remodeling the abandoned shop into a fully decorated flower shop in less than a week, it was simply impossible unless Mei Xiang abandoned her sleep and stayed up at night to work on it.

When Yu Yingyi was in front of the flower shop, she couldn’t do anything but stare in awe, it was exactly the way she wanted it to. The flower shop was painted white with numerous white flowers decorated on the exterior. She could see all kinds of new flowers through the glass window, however, her eyes stopped when a certain figure caught her eye.

Yu Yingyi opened the door and her presence was known due to the bell ringing.

“Yingyi!” Mei Xiang immediately called out. “I’m glad to see you here!”

However, it was as if Mei Xiang was transparent, Yu Yingyi walked right past her as if she didn’t exist and went up to…

“Jia Yi, what’re you doing here?” asked Yu Yingyi. “Aren’t you supposed to be back at home?”

“Ah, Yingyi,” said Jia Yi. “I was going to stay home, but I decided to go out since Feng Mian had an appointment with her mother.”

“Oh,” Yu Yingyi murmured, it seems Feng Mian was going to visit her mother along with her sister. Yingyi felt a bit of curiosity towards Song Zihan, she wondered what they were talking about.

“Anyway, Jia Yi, how did you discover this shop?” asked Yu Yingyi.

“Ah, since there weren’t many people in the city when I came, I decided to wander around before I do something, that was when a bright white shop caught my eye. Surprisingly, the owner knew me and things went on from there,” Jia Yi explained.

Yu Yingyi turned around and glared at Mei Xiang which caused Mei Xiang to hide behind the counter.

Turning back to Jia Yi, Yu Yingyi asked, “Did the owner, Mei Xiang, explain everything to you yet?”

Jia Yi tilted her head in confusion, “What do you mean? Explain what?”

“Ah, so she hasn’t told you yet,” said Yu Yingyi. “I’ll tell you now since you’re already here.”

Jia Yi waited for Yu Yingyi to continue as Yingyi let out a deep breath.

“This flower shop was originally supposed to be a surprise for you, this was once an abandoned shop and I asked Mei Xiang to remodel this into a flower shop for you,” said Yu Yingyi. “Remember our deal? This flower shop is now yours, you’re now the owner of it.”

“Ha?” That was the only noise, Jia Yi could let out, she was too surprised and her mind wasn’t processing everything Yingyi told her.

“This flower shop is mine?” Jia Yi asked in disbelief.

Yu Yingyi nodded, “Didn’t we make a deal? I’m fulfilling it.”

Instead of replying, Jia Yi leaped at Yu Yingyi and gave her a bear hug that squeezed the air of out Yingyi. She tried to pry Jia Yi off of her, but it was no use. Jia Yi’s grip was too strong and Yingyi could feel her shoulder getting wet.

“Are you seriously crying?! Get off of me now,” said Yu Yingyi, but there was no use, so she gave up and decided to embrace it instead. “You’re welcome, Jia Yi, you’re welcome.”

It took a few minutes before Jia Yi finally got off Yingyi, her eyes were all red due to the endless streams of water that came out of her eyes.

“Are you alright now?” asked Yu Yingyi.

“Yes,” Jia Yi replied. “Sorry about that, I was too happy.”

Yu Yingyi smiled helplessly, “It couldn’t be helped, you’ve always wanted to open a flower shop, didn’t you? Now you have it and you’re the owner of it.”

Jia Yi took a peek behind Yu Yingyi and looked at Mei Xiang for confirmation. When Mei Xiang nodded, Jia Yi’s eyes sparkled and a wide smile appeared on her face.

“Thank you!” Jia Yi exclaimed as she bowed.

Yu Yingyi smiled, now that the flower shop was finished. Most of her schedule was now cleared up and she had more time for herself.

“Now that you two are done talking, can I talk now?” asked Mei Xiang.

“Oh, you’re still here,” said Yu Yingyi, she had forgotten Mei Xiang was still here even though Jia Yi mentioned her a few times.

Mei Xiang acted like she was hurt, “How could you forget me when we’re so close?”

Yu Yingyi rolled her eyes and ignored Mei Xiang’s question, “What did you want to say?”

“Oh, I was thinking we should start selling the flowers to the citizens since there seem to be even more people,” said Mei Xiang.

Yu Yingyi took a glance outside the window and Mei Xiang was correct, there were even more people.

“Also, how did a flower shop manage to gain this much attention?” asked Yu Yingyi.

“Oh, about that, I told them this flower shop was opened by you…” Mei Xiang muttered.

“No wonder why they made a path for me,” said Yu Yingyi rubbing her temples before turning to Jia Yi and placed a hand on her shoulder. “Now that it’s your shop, you’re going to have to take care of it. Good luck and work hard, Jia Yi.”

“Thank you…wait, why are you leaving?” asked Mei Xiang.

“Hmm? I still have things to do, it’s your shop remember? You still have Mei Xiang with you,” Yu Yingyi replied.

Yu Yingyi quickly exited out the backdoor to avoid people and…responsibilities. There was no way she was going to spend her entire day selling flowers to the citizens.

“Now then, let my day start!”
