Villain Cultivator - Chapter 760: Next Station, United States Of Wei
WHOOSH
Miaomiao, Zhu Qiao, Sun Yun, Wu Guotai, and Sun Ren teleported to the Mao Clan’s manor. Upon arrival, the 12-year-old girl, Sun Ren, shrunk in fear and looked at her elder sister.
Sun Ren was the second daughter of Sun Jian and Wu Guotai. She was also known as Sun Shangxiang, by her nickname.
Sun Shangxiang didn’t keep her long hair. She always cut it short so that she could practice martial arts easier. As the second princess hated the frilly dresses, she always wore tight clothes and pants like a tomboy.
However, the tomboy was terrified of Miaomiao, who forcefully abducted her mother and sister here. She looked at her elder sister, who cooperated in this human trafficking, asking for her help with her gaze.
Sun Yun looked back at her little sister. When she noticed that Sun Shangxiang was crying, Sun Yun knelt and hugged her.
“There’s nothing to worry about. Your father will never hurt you.”
“Dad? But dad is dead.”
“Actually, you have two fathers,” Sun Yun paused, unable to come up with an explanation.
Zhu Qiao and Sun Yun once read Sun Shangxiang and Wu Guotai’s karma when they regained a portion of their strength in this universe. They discovered that Wu Guotai was the same woman, whom Miaomiao had an affair with. In addition, Wu Guotai in the previous life gave birth to Miaomiao’s daughter, Sun Shangxiang, and the latter was reincarnated as Wu Guotai’s daughter again.
Because of the complicated circumstances, they didn’t know what to explain. They were afraid that Miaomiao might want to make Sun Shangxiang his new wife, as they were not relatives in this life.
Miaomiao turned to Sun Yun and Sun Shangxiang. He noticed that the little girl was crying.
“Sun Yun, bring your mother and your sister to the second floor. Pick one of the empty rooms. Most of the rooms are furnished, so you don’t have to worry about moving in.”
Sun Yun’s eyes brightened, “Did you build a mansion based on the mansion in Siren City?”
“Yeah, sort of.”
“Then, I’ll pick my usual corner next to the stairs!”
“Aren’t you annoyed by the footsteps? I thought that room was the worst.”
“Meh. Compared to the room on edge, the middle room’s temperature is more comfortable. The rooms on the edge are like a sauna. The sun hits the walls on both corners, and the bright sunlight always messes up my concentration when I meditate.”
“If you say so.”
Sun Yun excused herself. She carried Wu Guotai and led Sun Shangxiang to the second floor.
Sun Shangxiang looked at Miaomiao. She was still afraid of him, but she was relieved that her family got to live together for now.
Miaomiao shook his head. He saw the karma, and he knew who she was.
‘I was really sinful. I impregnated Wu Guotai in my previous life, didn’t I?’
Miaomiao felt guilty that Sun Shangxiang died before she realized that he was her father. But now, they were strangers.
Zhu Qiao observed the interaction between Miaomiao and the Sun Family. She found it amusing.
“Quite a complex family, I must say.”
Miaomiao turned to Zhu Qiao and shrugged, “This is what you get for having a douchbag as your husband.”
“Yeah, I knew this would happen one day, but I ended up settling with an evil husband route. Well, what’s done is done. Now that you have Sun Yun, Wu Guotai, and me. Now what?”
Miaomiao pondered. He recalled the list of all his wives.
“Do you know where Wan City, Luoyang, Chang’An, Valley of Death, Mount Hua Sect, Qinyun Sect, and Emei Sect are?”
He didn’t expect much from Zhu Qiao. He simply asked, since it wouldn’t hurt to try.
“Wan, Luoyang, and Chang’An should follow the template of ancient china province pattern. We’re somewhere south of Huiji, so these cities should be in the northwest direction. I don’t know Valley of Death and the sects, though.”
“That’s good enough. By the way, do you have any talisman you can donate to me? I’ll go pick up the other girls.”
“Sorry. No talisman for spare. I’m as weak as a shrimp in this life.”
“Bah, too bad.”
Miaomiao sighed. He leaned closer to Zhu Qiao and kissed her, rewarding the girl for being nice and faithful.
Zhu Qiao was different from the lusty wives of Miaomiao. She lightly returned the kiss and slapped Miaomiao’s butt, chasing him away.
“Scram. I need to make potions and pills to cultivate!”
“Haha. Okay!”
Miaomiao left the mansion, leaving the girls alone.
Upon getting out, Miaomiao recalled the conversation with Chase, when the latter informed him about the locations of Qi Hong, Qi Ning, and Lai Wen.
‘Qi Hong and Qi Ning are famous weapon enchanters of the Qi Clan. Their clan manor is located in Huiji Province’s capital city, about 50 kilometers north of here. The other one I found is Lai Wen. She is a prodigy alchemist of Bongcloud Sect near Huiji City.’
The information was inaccurate as it skipped several geographical details. Huiji Province’s capital city was actually a thousand kilometers away from Pirate Hunter City, but the Pirate Hunter City was close to the province border. Thus, the manor was not inside Huiji City but somewhere on the outskirt near the Pirate Hunter City. Unfortunately, the war broke out and Qi Clan migrated north.
And lastly, Mu-Nyang reported that Lai Wen was in the first world, so the person might coincidentally have the same name.
Doubted by the information, Miaomiao prayed to Mu-Nyang.
‘Is Lai Wen in the second world my wife or someone with the same name?’
It didn’t take long for Mu-Nyang to confirm the information. 10 minutes after the prayer had been made, Mu-Nyang replied.
‘Actually, Lai Wen was in your world. I teleported her to the first world after she became an immortal. I needed her help, munya.’
‘You should have asked me.’
‘You were born late. All of your wives were born before you.’
‘… Fine.’
Miaomiao didn’t ask for more information. He continued traveling north.
.
After dropping Zhu Qiao and Sun Yun off, Miaomiao flew northwest, heading toward the territory of the United States of Wei. He flew two hours to cross the border between the Wu Empire and USW.
Upon arriving at the USW airspace, Miaomiao felt like he entered a sci-fi movie. Advanced airships, flying skateboards, and drones were everywhere. Miaomiao had to decrease his flight speed as random objects kept flying around.
While Miaomiao was flying further, cultivators on airships stared at him as if they were looking at a crazy person. Some of them gestured for Miaomiao to stop flying and board the ship, while many cultivators cussed him for being a country bumpkin.
“Look at that fool. What does he think he is? Why is he flying without the IFF code?”
“He must either be a dumb guy from the south. He doesn’t even know the laws here. I pity him.”
“Dude! You’ll be arrested if you fly without IFF or flying license! Come here and board our ship!”
Miaomiao overheard them and frowned. He had never heard anything about this.
‘What the hell is Devil doing with her country? Is her talent so good that she turns the primordial cultivation world into the cultivation world in the 22nd century?!’
His expression said it all. He was stunned by the advancement in USW’s technologies.
VOOO
Minutes later, a loud siren of a patrol car alarmed Miaomiao. A blue open-air Lamborghini cut Miaomiao off and stopped him from flying further. Two cultivators in navy uniforms got off their flying cars and approached Miaomiao.
“Mister, do you realize that you’re violating the traffic law?”
Miaomiao had a pokerface, “No idea. Tell me.”
“By chance, are you from Wu or Shu Han?”
“I’m from Wu.”
“I see. Can I have your passport, please?”
Miaomiao didn’t know how to react in this situation. He sighed and confessed, “I don’t have any.”
“I see. Well, many refugees migrated here recently, and you might haven’t learned about our culture and laws. Follow us to the police station. We’ll do something about your passport and your migration. We’ll provide you a temporary shelter, okay?”
These police officers were nice. They didn’t impose authority, but they were trying to control the situation and take Miaomiao into custody before a fight could even break out.
Miaomiao admired their method. As he respected them, he nodded, “Okay.”
“Good. Now, get on the back and put on the cuff, please,” One of the cops handed Miaomiao a handcuff.
Miaomiao looked at it and raised his brows. He sensed that the handcuff was an artifact, which had the power to seal one’s cultivation base.
Hesitated, Miaomiao questioned the police, “Do I have to?”
“We’re going to the police station first. Since we don’t know who you are, it’s for the safety measure. There were incidents in the past where police officers were killed because they didn’t cuff a refugee from another country, and those stupid idiots killed our guys. We just don’t want that to happen again.”
“But I have no intention of harming you.”
“Everybody said that. 80% of them attacked us whenever they had a chance.”
“…”
Miaomiao sighed. He looked into the color of their karma threads, and they were not tainted by greed or corruption. Since they were so nice, Miaomiao put his faith in humanity one more time.
“Alright. Don’t backstab me, though.”
“If you’re innocent, there’s nothing to worry about.”
“Sure.”
Miaomiao cuffed himself and ensured the officers. The two officers happily smiled and escorted Miaomiao to their patrol car.
