Villain: The Play of Destiny - Chapter 336
“Senpai, what do we do to the men outside?” Iseul asked after she watched Keith use his power of Darkness to erase every trace of Zane, Bronn, and Vali’s existence. Even the bloodstains had been devoured, but the broken furniture had been left unattended by him.
“Nothing.” He lightly said, frowning a little as he felt the drain of Mana for the first time in a long while.
He had used his Mind-Control Powers before but never to this extent. Subtly isolating your presence from people’s minds was easier than actively influencing and controlling so many minds to do something you wanted them to do. And it was not exactly a pleasant feeling.
Keith realised that he needed to find the rest of the God Stones of Erebus’ legacy for him to harmonise with the Laws and Powers that he had inherited. Sadly, none of the God Stones was in this world.
“Has the video feed been altered?” He asked, feeling a little hollow thanks to the falling Mana Reserves. His body was now asking him to get some sleep.
“Yes, Senpai.” His Iris replied to him after she dialled up some codes on her watch.
“Let’s go.” He grabbed both their hands and then teleported them to the back parking lot, where they got into their car.
Keith patiently directed the people who were standing on the front lawn to return to the Main Lounge, and after everyone went back inside, he nodded to Yingying, who immediately drove off.
A few minutes later, he heard Iris speak from the backseat.
“The Wislaw Guards have realised that Zane and Vali are missing. They have found Alex unconscious in the cabin.” She informed him as she watched everything transpiring back at the club on her tablet.
“Have the Ozell arrived in the city yet?” He asked, and his Iris immediately checked on their status.
“Not yet, Senpai. But Sunaina has contacted her mother, asking her for her help.”
“I see.” He nodded and then closed his eyes.
It was not going to be long before the Ozell came after Sunaina, and Samrath would soon find himself hard-pressed against two powerful Ancient Families of Netheria.
Keith knew that it would only take a couple of days for the Wislaw to determine that it was either he or Samrath who was behind the disappearance of Zane and Vali. And he was now eagerly waiting for their response. It was bound to be fun.
He had initially planned on allowing Samrath to take care of the Stepping-Stones the Destiny had prepared for him, but he was not going to mind killing them all if they became too much of a nuisance. Then again, he wanted them to come after him, after all, it would make things more exciting.
By the time they reached home, Keith was feeling very drowsy. He quickly checked up on the twins and located Minami and Kiara. And without meeting anyone in the Mansion, he headed straight to his room to get some sleep.
It was only after he lay in his bed that he realised how tired he was. It was more of a mental fatigue than a physical one, but within seconds, he found himself back inside his dreamland.
A sense of relief and freshness immediately washed over him, and unbeknownst to him a light smile crept on his lips.
Hours later, when he finally woke up, it was past midnight, and the lights in his room were shut.
He was a little surprised to not find anyone in his bed, but after he scanned the Mansion and found all the girls sitting in the lounge, listening to Minami narrate a story from the book she had almost finished, he understood where they were busy.
Instead of getting up, Keith closed his eyes again to meditate, and an hour later, he fell back asleep.
“Brother, wake up!” A cute voice greeted his ears, and suddenly, with a swish of the curtains, the morning rays of the sun landed on his perfect profile.
Amira gasped when he opened his eyes, his amethyst orbs sparkling in brilliance, and everything she had on her mind simply fleeted away as she found herself unable to look away from those eyes that seemed to hold the entire cosmos within them.
“Good morning.” Keith smiled when he saw the girl lost in a trance and gently pulled her close to him to capture her lips.
Amira blushed when she realised what was happening, but then closed her eyes as she revelled in his taste.
“You are beautiful.” He told her as soon as their lips separated, and a captivating smile immediately crept on her face.
“Thank you.” She blushed some more as she stepped forward and twirled around, showing him her new dress.
“Suits you.” He nodded as he found the grey outfit complementing her honey-blonde hair and amber eyes.
Keith then checked the clock and understood why she had woken him up.
It was time for him to drop them off at their High-School, a routine for their Mondays.
“Give me ten minutes.” He told her as he got out of bed and patted her head.
Amira patiently waited for him as he entered the dressing room and exited it exactly ten minutes later, having taken a quick shower and changed into a casual pair of grey pants and a white shirt.
“Let’s go.” He smiled at her.
“Breakfast?”
“I will take it when I return.” He told her, having also tasted fruit juice that she had when they kissed, which told him that she had had her breakfast already.
Reina was already waiting for them outside in the garden, and she happily ran over to the car and got into the driving seat before he could hop into it.
“I am driving!” She declared, and Keith did not stop her.
They both had turned sixteen back in September, and she now had her licence. Not that he cared about it or anyone would stop them, but it did mean that she could drive now.
He allowed Amira to sit in the passenger seat and then hopped into the backseat as he started going through his cell phone and asked Iseul to inform him about the events that took place during the night.
“The Wislaw are agitated, and dozens of their forces have arrived in the city. They are searching everywhere for Zane and Vali, and the Rovic Family are under house arrest right now. Alex has been interrogated, and they even checked the security footage of the Elantra. As you had intended, they have found the footage where Amira slapped Vali, and they have already started investigating the girls and your relationship…” Iris first informed him about everything that was transpiring on Rovic and Wislaw’s side, and then she finally touched on the most important event of last night. “Rubina Ozell has herself come to Griffin City with a few senior members of their Sect, who serve under her. Sunaina is with her right now in the House 27th of the Griffin Society.”
It was another change in the Plan of Destiny as Rubina was not supposed to come personally to help her estranged daughter.
“Her stepson, Rilian, has come with her as well.”
Keith could not help but smile when he heard these words. It meant that things were going to still progress as expected, and with Rubina there, the situation was bound to aggravate.
Rilian would undoubtedly take a fancy to Sunaina, and he would ask Rubina for her hand, which she would unhesitatingly accept and force her daughter to accept as well in return for helping her deal with the Wislaw and Rovic.
The senior members of the Sect would agree with her decision when they realise Sunaina’s potential, and it could make her the prized asset that they would strive to keep to themselves even at great costs. And all of this would put Samrath at odds with both the Wislaw and the Ozell.
After Iseul informed him about everything that happened last night, Keith ended the call without saying anything and engaged the twins in a casual conversation.
He did ask them about yesterday, and both of them honestly told him what happened at the club, where a stupid young man had unceremoniously barged into their cabin and approached them.
Amira still seemed a little mad that he grabbed her hand, but after she heard him chuckle, she calmed down and started worrying about other things.
She still remembered the day he had killed people publicly who had come to kidnap them, and she was now worried that he would do something to the stupid young man as well.
However, seeing him not ask any questions about the boy made her feel relieved and at the same time, confused her.
“Brother, where did you go yesterday?” Reina asked, and Amira too turned to look at him.
They remembered how he went straight to bed after coming home yesterday evening, and Iseul had told them to now wake him up even for dinner.
“I was taking care of a few stupid young lads.” He told them, and they both subconsciously thought of the young man who had created trouble yesterday.
The rest of their journey to the High-School was a silent affair, but their moods did change when Keith stepped out of the car and then gave them both quick kisses on their lips, right in front of all the students who were present outside the building.
They were happy, but at the same time, sighed as they knew that a few more fangirls would be pestering them today.
