Villain: The Play of Destiny - Chapter 436
“Where is everyone?” Feifei stared at the beautiful Manor of the First Estate and then looked around.
It had been an hour since they arrived here, and other than the guards at the main gate, they had not come across anyone.
Even Rouxi, whom she had dragged here, was confused and curious.
She had received a tour around the Manor last night, and she was familiar with the place. However, even after checking all of the Manor and the grounds, they did not find anyone.
“Eira, can you trace them?” The Child of Destiny did not know why, but she turned to look at her dear wolf, who had been resting outside near the lake, and a smile crept on her face as the Magical Beast happily barked and then ran inside the Manor.
Though they were curious why she had run inside, after all, there was no one there, they still decided to follow her.
Perhaps, she wanted to get a better understanding of their scent to find them out.
Feifei was already chasing after Eira, and Rouxi sighed as she sensed the urgency in her best friend.
It was so obvious that she had helplessly fallen for Keith’s charm, and to be honest, she was still worried for her even after the chat they had last night.
To fall so deeply for someone within a day was not normal. And even though her heart was telling her that it was fine, she was not willing to drop all her caution against Keith and against what was happening to her best friend.
There was just something about him that she could not wrap her mind around. And she could sense herself being pulled towards him as well.
He had even followed her into her dreams.
Rouxi kept following the two of them and frowned when Eira led them inside a hall, right next to the main kitchen, and she watched the wolf turn to her and meet her eyes.
“Here?” She did not know how, but she had always managed to understand what Eira tried to convey to her.
“Awoo!” The wold affirmatively replied, and the two ladies glanced at each other at the same time.
“There’s no one here, Eira.” Feifei frowned as she looked at the wolf again, but her instincts told her that the wolf was not confused and was speaking the truth.
It was quite strange, but she always trusted her instincts. And given what she had witnessed yesterday, she decided to trust the wolf.
“They are not home. Let’s wait in the Main Hall.” Rouxi said and watched Feifei shake her head, and even Eira protested in a complaint. “What?”
“Let’s wait here,” The girl replied and then unceremoniously walked over to the couch and sat on it.
Rouxi sighed at her behaviour but then decided to let things be and took her seat as well. She picked out her phone and sent Qingyue a message again, telling her that they were waiting in the Hall next to the main kitchen.
She was about to put her phone aside when she heard a voice, followed by a magnetic laugh, and her mind went black.
“Hey, girl.” Keith crouched down and happily ran his fingers through Eira’s coat and caressed her head, and the she-wolf was excitedly greeting him, clearly happy to see him.
“My Apologies, we are a little late.” Qingyue, who was standing right next to Keith, looked their way and smiled before she approached them, and Feifei immediately jumped to her feet.
“How did you guys suddenly appear out of nowhere?”
“We are ghosts, that’s how.” Qingyue laughed at her question and then hugged the girl. “What? Not scared?” She teased, and Feifei grinned back at her.
“Nope.” She shook her head, and when Qingyue proceeded to greet Rouxi, she ran towards Keith and whispered in his ear. “Where were you?” She asked, and pouted when he laughed at her question.
“Secret.” He winked at her, making her glare at him, but then she looked at her best friend and laughed when she saw that Rouxi was a little unsettled.
“See, Eira wasn’t lying.” She said, and the wolf barked again as if telling them that she never lies.
“Where are Ayesha and Yingying?” The Child of Destiny composed herself and asked Qingyue, and Feifei too turned to look at Keith.
“Oh, yeah, where are Fiona and Iseul?”
“They are busy and won’t be joining us today.” He informed them, making them both raise their brows at him. “They are training.”
“Oh.”
“So, shall we go?” He asked, and Feifei immediately nodded her head.
Keith met Rouxi’s eyes and smiled at her when he found her staring at him, and eventually, she nodded her head too.
There was a sudden lightness that both Feifei and Qingyue felt, and for a very brief moment, there was no hold on gravity on them. However, their mind cleared up as soon as they felt their weight, and then their eyes widened when they found themselves inside the underground garage of the Manor.
At this point, Rouxi no longer knew what to think about these things.
First, Feifei told her that Keith gave her some Magical Pendant, then she found both Keith and Qingyue appearing out of thin air, and now, within a blink, they were in a completely different place than where they had been standing before.
“You teleported us!” Feifei excitedly looked at Keith, and the smile on her face made him chuckle at her. “Teach me how to do it!” She demanded, and this time, it was Qingyue who laughed at her antics.
“Trust me, we have all asked him to teach us, but he doesn’t.” She revealed, making Feifei pout at him.
“Why?” She complained, and he raised his hand and playfully flicked her nose.
“Because, you are not strong enough yet, and my circumstances are a little special.” He told her and then looked at Rouxi. “Eira is with Ayesha and Yingying now.”
“Oh…” And that was the only response she could give.
At least, now she knew that he could somehow teleport from place to place. That did explain how he appeared out of thin air earlier in the hall.
“So, you will teach me how to do it when I am strong enough?” Feifei hopefully asked, and Keith smiled at her.
There was a brief silence between them, something that Qingyue took note of, and it confused her why Keith did not answer her question straight away.
“If you haven’t learned it on your own by then, yes, I will teach you.” He told her and smiled some more at the excitement that reflected on Feifei’s face.
Qingyue, however, had an unsettling feeling in her heart at what he had just said.
His answer was different than what he had given them. He had straightforwardly promised her and Kiara that he would teach them Teleportation when they were ready, but he played with his words in his answer to Feifei.
She did not know why, but she had a foreboding feeling about it, and sure enough, as soon as Feifei’s instincts kicked in, she narrowed her eyes at Keith.
“Why do I feel like you are not happy about it?” She straightforwardly asked, and Keith laughed at her words.
“Stop thinking too much and pick a car.” He tapped her head, making her wince a little, but then Feifei was happily looking around the garage.
She was a Car Enthusiast, and so, this place excited her to the brim.
“I am taking the Valkyrie!” She announced, and he nodded to her before taking the key out of the box and handing it to her.
Rouxi simply got into the car with her best friend, and then Keith and Qingyue followed them inside the AMG-One that Qingyue picked for them.
Feifei led them to the only Club in Hangzhou that people of their class could go to, and this place had everything for them from Horseriding grounds to Shooting and Archery Ranges and everything that one would want to go to a club for. There was even a Golf Course and also a Casino inside it.
The Imperial Club, as they called it, was busy even in the morning, and when they arrived at their destination, there were people already waiting for them there.
Feifei had made appointments for them, and being the Princess of the Wei Family of Beijing, she was treated with a lot of respect and care.
People could not come to this club unless they were a Member or accompanied a Member, but exceptions always existed.
Keith was not surprised when the manager himself stepped forward to receive them and he proceeded to present Keith with a Black Membership card, the highest Tier, where everything was free and open to those who possessed it.
Feifei was a little irritated after seeing it, and it was because even she did not possess a Black Card. Only her Grandfather and Uncle possessed it in their family. And there was a very limited number of these Cards.
“Did you even apply for it?” She asked, and seeing Keith smile at her, she understood that he had not done such a thing. “Wow.”
“I am special.” He smiled some more and chuckled when she rolled her eyes at his narcissism. However, just like anyone else, she could not deny it.
He was indeed special, even to her.
“Feifei!”
She was about to lead them towards the Archery when they heard someone call out to her. A feminine voice.
They all looked in its direction and she saw a group of youngsters, being led by a very pretty young lady, who was walking over to them in a subtle catwalk.
“Wang Sisi.” Feifei frowned when she sensed the intentions of the approaching girl, and her mood soured a little.
