Voyage With The Pirate King - Chapter 349
Would it bounce if smacked it or would it flush red? These were the questions he needed answers to but before he could even attempt to smack that ass his gaze fell on the whip that was making sizzling sounds as though scolding him.
“Fuck…..,” he swore before sprinting away. Ji Yao who didn’t expect him to run naturally wouldn’t let him go. He chased after him and almost caught him when Rui Fei leapt up to the shrouds of the mainmast before climbing up to the crow’s nest looking down at Ji Yao.
A sly grin appeared on his face as he stared intently at the man standing on the main deck staring at him. Ji Yao clenched his jaw as he looked up at the culprit. He didn’t care who was watching right now as he cracked his whip sword without much of his seraphic energy.
He intended to whip him off the mainmast but as the whip sword wrapped around his leg, Rui Fei chuckled and immediately jumped up transforming into his true form before pulling him up.
“Rui Fei….. You!!!” yelled Ji Yao as he tried to recall his sword but instead it was tugged by Rui Fei’s tail pulling him up. Just like that, the entire crew watched as their pirate king disappeared into the curtain of snow.
Rui Yewan who was still holding the cake fell into a daze as he watched them flying off. He didn’t know if they should eat it or wait. The strict chef with a weird personality had made this to perfection but in the end, it almost kissed the floor and the birthday boy abandoned it.
While stuck in a daze a finger appeared from under the tray and wanted to pinch the cake for a taste. The person had to be shorter than him otherwise he would have seen them. He shifted the cake to the side and yelled, “Li-er, do you have a death wish.”
Rui Li who had snuck up from under the tray twitched her lip and said, “He left already. Let me have a taste. If we cut the centre and then squish the two halves together he won’t know.”
Rui Yewan almost rolled his eyes at her as he walked away. Rui Fei would definitely know. The guy knows everything. As he turned his back to leave and find a place to hide this cake he heard his sister mumble, “Shit…..”
His back ran cold as he froze in place. His eyes wide he gulped as a dagger brushed against his neck. That dagger, those hands and rings were so familiar to him. He slowly closed his eyes as his scalp went numb.
“Wan Wan, why won’t you say hie to daddy,” said a familiar voice as the person leaned down to look at Rui Yewan.

Somewhere in the middle of nowhere Qilin Hao who hadn’t left her underground palace for decades was suddenly bustling about getting dressed. She was dressed in a blood-red robe standing in front of a mirror as she corrected her wrist brace.
Her skin was sickly pale and she looked worse than before but she was insisting on leaving despite Qilin Luse’s recommendations. “Your Highness, I, I will go….. this will kill you,” he said but she ignored him grabbing a red fur coat.
“If you aren’t going to help me get ready then fuck off,” she said as she draped the fur coat over her shoulders.
Qilin Luse stood there at a loss for a moment. He didn’t know what to do anymore.
After that Kun Peng of his was sent to kill Emperor Rui he came back with a burnt fin almost selling them out.
Qilin Luse tried to conceal it and deal with Emperor Rui himself but Qilin Hao found out. She could sense Qilin Kai’s seraphic energy within her territory and so kicked every door open. The way she was behaving you wouldn’t think she was an invalid.
When she found the injured Hei Ying passed out on the bed Qilin Hao barehandedly strangled Qilin Luse almost killing him. She didn’t like being deceived worse off she had been deceived by her most trusted person. Her eyes were bloodshot as she let him go.
From that day onwards she didn’t speak again for a while either did she want to see Qilin Luse. Because of his past offence when Qilin Luse received the news that Qilin Kai planned to take on Red Bane and grab the keystones he had no choice but to inform her and her reaction was as expected. Instead of sending him to finish the job, she opted to go herself.
Unfortunately, Qilin Luse had personally witnessed the amount of pain Qilin Hao experienced when she was outside this palace. He just couldn’t let her walk out of here. To show how far he was willing to go he grabbed a dagger from his storage and knelt down before placing it on his neck.
“If your Highness leaves then I might as well kill myself now because I would have failed in my task to protect you,” he said as the blade cut his skin.
Qilin Hao who was fixing her fur coat paused as she glared at him through the bronze mirror for a moment. Her eyes slowly moved down to her wrist brace before she coolly turned around and summoned her sword. With a loud resounding shing, it flew towards her and she caught the hilt in her hand before she swung it.
With a loud crackling sound it extended and the tip of the whip sword struck the dagger out of his hand. With a clattering sound, it fell to the floor before it was stepped on by her.
Qilin Luse gazed at the brocade boots stepping on the dagger with a lost expression. He had failed her but he was also protecting her so why couldn’t Qilin Hao understand that?
“Luse, don’t test my patience,” she said before placing her hand on his shoulder.
Ji Wen who had been asleep in the other room had heard the noise so he rose to see what was happening only to be met with this chaotic scene.
He didn’t know why Qilin Luse was bleeding while kneeling on the ground but that wasn’t a priority to him right now. What he was worried about was why his wife was dressed up like she was going somewhere.
He was well aware of her condition and knew she couldn’t go outside otherwise her father would somehow continue to attack her aether so where was she going.
“Where are you going?” he asked as he walked over with his dishevelled curly hair flying all over the place. He held her hand scrutinizing her gorgeous face.
Qilin Hao didn’t immediately respond. She was hesitant to say it.. How was she meant to tell her darling that she was leaving and possibly won’t be coming back? She raised her trembling hand and caressed the side of Ji Wen’s face before saying, “I am going to get our son.”
