VRMMORPG: Dragomancer Reborn - Chapter 180 Orc Settlement
Now that the Orcs were all dead, Arthur could move on.
“I need the head and the blood.” Arthur went up to the Trunel Orc Leader and chopped of its head.
>You’ve Obtained the Head of the Trunel Orc Leader!<
This was the trophy that one would normally submit at the office as proof of the kill. But Arthur had a different use for it right now.
“Waving this in their faces should be good enough.” Arthur reckoned.
Next, he collected the blood from the headless Orc. He needed it so that he could leave some traces for the other Orcs.
“Burn this place down, Brambles. We don’t want any traces left here.” Arthur ordered the beetle.
“KR III!” The beetle used Draconid’s breath and breathed out a fire that burned the tents as well as all the bodies.
“Return for now, Brambles.” Arthur unsummoned the Beetle, as the next part would have to be done on his own.
After all, if he had a large beetle following alongside him, it would be easier to recognize him. That was not what he wanted at all.
“Huu… time to see how well the Veil works now.” Arthur took out the Veil Of Thousand Skins and placed it on his face. “UGH!”
And as soon as he did the Veil twitched and expanded to cover his face. A few seconds later it fully covered his body making him look like a featureless skin bag.
>Veil of Thousand Skins has been activated. Please choose your new appearance<
Arthur saw the interface window in front of him and quickly choose the necessary option.
dαsvεl.cοm
>Custom Appearance has been chosen!<
Arthur then went on the modify the appearance of the new disguise according to how Dozla looked. With the information window of Dozla still active in his field of vision, Arthur had an easy time copying it.
About five minutes later, he was done modifying it and confirmed it.
>New appearance has been selected as Dozla the Bandit Chief!<
~SHUA~
Then in the next moment, the Veil of Thousand Skins started to move and change. It first took on a vague figure by expanding and then added the details. Arthur’s body grew muscular while his face changed to have scars, just like Dozla did.
A few seconds later he had fully transformed into Dozla the Bandit Chief!
“Haaa… it’s still unnerving to use this.” Arthur let out a breath and took a look at his new appearance.
He was still wearing the Ember Bellow Set, but his face was that of Dozla now.
Arthur removed the helmet so that his face would be on full display to the others. After all, he needed others to see his face for his plan to work.
“Well, time to head on.” Arthur held the head of the Trunel Orc Leader in one hand and walked towards a specific location.
He was now heading to the main settlement of the Trunel Orcs. It was attached to the mountains as well, but wasn’t as hidden as the Bandit’s hideout. It took Arthur about twenty minutes to reach it, since he knew exactly how to get there.
For players though, the Trunel Woods would be the same as a maze and it might take them days to find the same place.
Arthur hid behind a large boulder and looked at the Orc settlement first.
“Hmm… there’s a lot of them for sure.” Arthur muttered as he gazed at the large sentiment.
There were easily over three hundred Orcs there and that too of various ranks.
Arthur saw the common Trunel Orcs, Trunel Orc leaders, Trunel Orc warriors, and even the Trunel Orc Tribe Shaman.
The Shaman was usually the person running the entire tribe and had the highest authority in normal times. As such, it was also the smartest Orc among the tribe and could even speak human languages.
Of course, Arthur still needed to see how strong the Shaman actually was.

Looking at the Shaman’s status, Arthur was rather surprised.
‘No way the players would be able to fight against this.’ Arthur thought. ‘The spells he has are enough to cause trouble for a lot of people all at once. The combination of Mud Wave and Stone Spear is rather deadly when used correctly.’
Arthur knew of the spells that the Shaman could use and how problematic they could be.
“But this is perfect against the Bandits… now I just need to trigger them as much as I can.” Arthur muttered to himself.
He observed the Orc settlement that was similar to a primitive human tribe. They used tree trunks that had been sharpened into stakes as walls and added a few skulls on spikes on top of it.
Inside the walls, one could see several large tents that could house multiple Orcs at once. The Orcs went about their life similar to humans, hunting and gathering food and other necessities.
Arthur could see female Orcs taking care of children as well as cooking in large cauldrons. There were also large boars being cooked on a fire pit.
Being Orcs, they needed a lot of food to sustain themselves. And when it came to an entire tribe like this, it became apparent as to why they were contently hunting.
In fact, all the Orcs that Players came across in Trunel Woods were out hunting for food. It just so happened that they were fine eating humans as well as animals. Orcs also bred quickly, with children maturing and growing strong fast.
If not for the fact that they would be hunted down regularly too, either by humans or the other beasts of the forest, their numbers would have increased massively in just a few years.
There were many cases of Orc populations becoming overwhelming for a region to handle, causing them to migrate to other areas. This is why Orcs were rather common and could be found in many areas.
Still, having settlements like this meant that they also had similar weaknesses to humans.
‘Burning them down won’t be an issue at all…’ Arthur took out the box that contained the Four Incendiary bombs that Alchemist Lugan had given him.
Of those, Arthur took a single bomb and cut its wick by half. This reduced its explosion time by fifteen minutes.
‘This should be enough to sneak in and sneak out.’ Arthur hoped.
With that done, he left the head of the Orc and his own rucksack here before heading towards the Orc settlement from the side.
Arthur also made sure to come in from the opposite direction of the wind so that his Scent wouldn’t be detected by the Orcs. The stealth skill reduced his presence and ensured that Arthur wasn’t detected by the time he was right beside the spiked wooden wall.
He was in a blind spot for the settlement with a few thick bushes growing here.
~CLACK~
Arthur hit a piece of flint and lit the fuse of the bomb. Once that was done, he threw the bomb through the gaps in the wall.
Of course, the gaps weren’t large enough for any large animal or human, but it was slit enough for a mouse and something as small as the bomb.
The bomb rolled into the back side of the settlement, right where a bunch of dried leaves, and wood were kept as fuel. The large stack also served as a way to hide the bomb and made it harder for anyone to spot it beforehand.
~huu~
‘Time to get back,’ Arthur quickly sneaked away and returned to the boulder where he had kept his items.
He put in his rucksack and held the head of the Trunel Orc Leader in his hand. He waited for a few minutes until finally it happened.
~BOOM~
The bomb that Arthur had thrown in finally exploded, a wave of fire rapidly expanding and consuming all that was near it.
The fiery explosion reached nearly twenty meters in height and resulted in a shockwave that toppled multiple tents at once!
